Color-coordinated eyeshadow palette…..like jewel tone greens with duochrome, shimmer, and matte finishes. Maybe a dark blue palette with the same mixed finishes….a gray palette, a brown palette….you get the idea. I would definitely buy all of them. LOL. Lancome currently has similar palettes and I have two of them but I generally don’t buy big palettes because I don’t use half of the colors because the colors are so wildly mixed. But I would buy a coordinated palette from PM. Her eyeshadows are great quality and pigment.

Ooooh – I think you’ve designed the ultimate tempting palette, Christine – certainly one that would tempt me, especially if the price were a bit more in line with what I’m willing to spend on an e/s palette ($174 CDN plus applicable taxes is just more than I want to pay).
I’m with you–I’d love to see a matte neutral or an everyday neutrals palette. If I spend that much on a palette I want to be able to use it daily!
I don’t own any PMG palettes because I’ve never seen one that appealed to me. I’d be interested in a moderately priced all-matte palette of cool neutral shades.
If Pat McGrath did a palette with that color story of the photo, I would buy it ASAP!

I’d love to see a true neutral palette with no pinks or golds! Really though, I’d just love to see a departure from pinks/golds for one palette. The color story could be anything.
Totally agree Christine……several years ago Violet Voss had an all matte cool palette and a all matte warm palette which I reach for to this day….I would love Pat to launch a palette with all cool toned mattes and a sister palette with all warm toned mattes…..
I want more grunge like Subversive! Maybe some khaki and greige and pewter, with pops of shimmery teal and crimson and a translucent purple-gold flip.
Also more Motherships with the OG baked glitter shades; the recent Moonlit Seduction was disappointing in that respect.

I like PMG palettes for their variety in colour and texture. I almost never wear green e/s so that wouldn’t be on my shopping list. I could get behind something burgandy and purple with neutrals.. I just described ND retro.. but with Pat flare.
No I wouldn’t pay premium prices for an all matte palette from Pat, her mattes are nice but they’re not worth $130 for a 10 shade curation. Her strength is in the special shades and metallics. I’d love her to come up with special shade only quads again, just like she did a few years ago. But please, no more gold and pink in them! Anything but gold and pink combo would be great!
If Pat McGrath made something like this it would convince me to try their eyeshadows! I like the colors she comes out with, but so many brands make a lot of those types of colors and I have way too many. I have a lack of really exciting greens and I bet Pat could make that happen if she wanted to branch out. If she did this in a quad vs a full palette that would be even better! I wouldn’t mind seeing a dark smokey palette with some special gunmetal and maybe an iridescent silver.
I’d like to see a return to the artistry of the earlier Motherships, back before pinks and golds were the default requirement. The real draw of PMG as a brand, for me, is its Blade Runner x Dynasty aesthetic. The imaginative and stunning VR and Astral shades. If she could make a Mothership that was entirely VR and Astral, a la the all metallics Mothership IV: Decadence, I would be thrilled.
The current trend in Motherships seems to be careening towards Charlotte Tilbury colorstorys. Which once or twice is fine, I do love a pretty pink or rose gold, but four palettes is a row? I sleep.
IIRC there was a McKinsey report on luxury makeup brands seeing a 45-55% decrease in profits (!!) during 2020. So I get why so many are choosing to play it safe. Hopefully brands can get to the profit point again where taking artistic risks is encouraged.

I really would like to see a palette with some cooler greens, blues, and violets without any pinks or golds. IPurple-, blue-, and green- tinged gray mattes. ‘d love to see an amazing silver metallic instead of gold.
1.) Just PLEASE bring back the LuxeTrance Lipstick line!
2.) An Oceanic themed palette with TWO multichrome shadows in a seafoam green with a pale gold and platinum flips, a deep teal blue with emerald and lime flips, a rich deep teal green matte, sandy beige metallic, etc. But; NO PINKS, NO GOLDS!
I would love to see a cruelty-free line.
Honestly, I wish she’d tweak the eyeshadow formula a bit, as something in the recipe makes my eyelids itch. I love the colors of the palette I own, but can’t wear it, alas.

An all-matte nude neutral palette without any red/purple tones or any other colour outside of skin tone range.
One word: a bronzer.
I have been begging her IG page for bronzers! Every release I pray it will be bronzers but no… another eye shadow palette I really don’t need. Now honestly I have 5 motherships that I love. 2 quads I love, and I had the first 3 – 6 pan palettes she released I loved them so much but my sister wanted them so I parted ways.. I kinda want to ask her to give me back the La vie en rose.. but I guess that would be rude. Seriously.. what PMG does not have is a true Bronze palette.. no bright colors.. seriously .. bronzes.. dark one to champagne finishes with good neutral mattes .. honestly no additional colors just NUDES/Bronze. I would tear that palette up!
I would love to see a palette like the one you have suggested, but no mattes in it! I wouldn’t mind a gold in it – if it were like Gold Nectar – one of my truly favourite gold shades of hers. I would like the forest theme – and this is where Lorac missed the boat with its Fairytale Forest palette – not enough greens in it.
oh my goodness at that pallette you mocked up! Scrolling through the site i thought it was a review and thought “I need that!” but alas not a real pallette! Is it saved as a color story on the site? I think I recognize a couple of the shadows but would love to know what they all are
I just want some of her more unusual shades to be released as singles, especially VR Sextraterrestrial (the pink/gold/green triochrome from Mothership 8: Divine Rose 2)!

I would love for Pat McGrath to release her version of the Natasha Denona Glam palette. Generally, I’d be delighted if there were more cool-toned options across the premium beauty market. I feel there’s a bit of a misconception that cool toned means boring but it doesn’t have to. I still want all the fab shimmer, maybe even duo or trio chrome, just not so flipping warm all the time. Anyone else? That aside, I’d like for Pat to try her hand at the style of cream blush palettes ND does.
I’d like to see single duochrome and multichrome eyeshadow, so I could buy just the ones I want instead of the full palette…

Cool toned neutral with a mix of finishes.
Like a couple of other comments – cool tone and neutral are ignored. I am so tired of seeing the berries and sunset themed palettes.
I like PM, but I’ve purchased a number of her palettes over the years knowing full well I’ll only use 2-3 of the shades. Not anymore.
While I have no shortage of chromes from TM, Clionadh, JD Glow, etc., I’d like to see one of all astral/VR/special shade. PM’s astral/VR/special shades are among the most “wearable” and “professional” out there, IMO. I love the Indy brands that have similar options, but these are the easiest to wear/match with neutral shades.
I’d loathe a palette of all matte shadows as I literally own every palette ND and Viseart has ever offered, and I think they far outdo PM in quality. Also, the decadence all metallic palette of hers is my least favorite – I almost hate it. But for the fact that I own all of PMs offerings – I would giveaway or sell that palette if it didn’t detract from the fact that I own them all.
I don’t think her holiday 2022 palette is all that wild, but there are other offerings beyond the pinks and golds we’re used to getting in every palette since DR1, so I’m quite excited to purchase the mega and mini palette offerings this year.
