No luck really, but I’ve been experimenting with bright lipsticks (Revlon Siren, Covergirl Fairytale, MAC Ever Hip). Anyone have any ideas how to pair eye makeup with bright lips? I’m also eyeing Milani Rose Hip and MAC Vegas Volt!
If you have small eyes, use a shimmery neutral shadow, and add liner and mascara. Add more if you think your eyes need more definition. If you have larger eyes, use a neutral satin shadow instead.
I did a look with Surf baby products that I really liked:
Mac Painterly as a base on the eyelids, then Swell Baby all over the lid.
Short shorts in the crease and blended up under the browbone.
Mac X black mascara and Clinique pewter eyeliner.
Then I used Surf USA as a liner along the upper lash line and up and into the outer V.
A little more Short shorts under the lower lash line completed the eyes.
All I did for the lips was a light coat of Good Lovin’ gloss.
I just did a look the other day with a pink peach on the inner third, purple on the outer 2/3s and some blue in the crease, with a shimmery white highlight. It was inspired by Final Fantasy’s Yuna. xD
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua on Face, Benefit Erase Paste under eyes with powderflage over. Grey Satin Shade from TF Naked Eye Palette with the grey and peach sparkly shades from the Glamour to Go II palette over on lids and faded up into crease. Clinique high impact mascara and bottom lash mascara on lashes. Benefit Dandelion on Cheeks and Stila all over liquid luminizer as highlight. Chanel Aurore glossimer on lips. Love a daytime smokey look with very minimal other makeup
I just got my surf baby stuff in the mail, and I couldn’t wait to use it! My look I did with it was sun blonde on the lid with surf USA in the crease blended into MACs Club concentratedin the outer crease and on the last 1/3 of the lid. The I topped it off with brown liquid liner winged out and black mascara. My cheeks were Too Faced’s La Vie En Rose, and on my lips was NYX’s new Fortune Cookie round lipstick and MAC’s Nymphette lip glass.
My favorite is a simple look with orange and coral (if you want to see it, it’s the post for today on my blog. Just click my name). I used Persephone Minerals’ Mars Crystal Power on the lid and Urban Decay’s Jones widely in the crease. It was really simple to do, but I got a lot of compliments on it! For my lips I used MAC’s Ever Hip lipstick under Sleek’s Sugar May lip conditioner.

I bet the Noir Plum look was pretty; I have that shadow and just love it but I always struggle when putting together brights or dark colors. I am trying to branch out from neutrals. Thanks for sharing!
My favorite look of the week would have to be Thursday’s look. I wore Urban Decay’s Grifter all over the lid on top of Pixie Epoxy, then I used Urban Decay’s Romp in the outer corner and outer crease. I put two coats of UD’s Skyscraper mascara, and UD’s Zero 24/7 in my upper and lower waterline. On my cheeks I wore Benefit’s Bella Bamba. On my lips I wore Rimmel London’s Latino lipstick with Urban Decay’s Pocket Rocket in James on top!
Today I was just playing around with my makeup and came up with this cute, simple somkeyish look:
for my lid, I took the bottom right corner colour (seafoam ish green/silver) from the NYX smokeu lok kit, then I took Vex in the inner half of my eye, I took NYX Electric Blue jumbo eye pencil in my crease and Club over top (JEP to bring out the blue duo-chrome) and brule in my crease. I lined my upper lash line with a black gel liner and my bottom lash line with the Electric blue JEP.
I bronzd my face with Rimmel London’s Natural bronzer in Sun Dance and My Paradise blush on my cheeks.
oh I forgot! on my lips I have NYX Sparkling Flamingo and a bit of Harmonica
UDPP in Sin all over the lid, UD Sin on the inner 1/3 of my lid, UD Woodstock on the outer 2/3 of my lid and a sparkly black no name shadow in the crease. Finished with UD Zero and L’Oreal Collagen mascara. For my cheeks I used Hard Candy Blush Crush in Dollface and on my lips I used Cargo Serengeti Lipgloss
I did a bit of an At The Beach look yesterday. Sweet&Punchy on inner 2/3 of lid, Firecracker on outer 1/3 of lid, Shimmermoss in the crease, Gorgeous Gold under brow and inner corner. UD Minx liquid liner on upper lashline, Electric 24/7 on lower lashline, Zero on waterline. Chanel Inimitable Intense mascara, Flirt Heartthrob blush, Dior Coral Fantasy Ultra Gloss. I know it sounds over the top but I received a lot of compliments.

On my eyes I’m wearing the nars dogon duo with the dark navy charcoal color on the lid with the duochrome taupe patted on top and blended into the crease. Mac shroom for a brow highlight. I lined my upper lashline and waterline with mac blacktrack fluidline and my lower waterline with the nc15/nw20 chromagraphic pencil.
On my lips I’m just wearing mac frozen dream lipglass.
The whole look is very fresh and modern looking. I dig it. 🙂

This week was sensible week! Bobbi Brown’s Navajo as a base, UD Virgin on the lid ad as a highlight on the browbone, and MAC Copperplate in the crease. My favourite look this week would be the NARS makeover I had on Wednesday. I told the makeup artist to try Exotic Dance on my eyes – the white as highlight for the browbone, the antique gold on the lid, with Coconut Grove on the outer corner layered over antique gold for definition.
Cheeks – Deep Throat with Desire layered on top.
Lips – Carthage which is really HOT!
I mostly wore a simple look consisting Bobbi Brown foundation, MAC mascara and Nars Orgasm lip gloss.
On Tuesday, it was Urban Decay Grifter on the lid, Flipside in the crease, Flash on the outer v, Clinique Cream Shaper in Deep Cobalt on the upper and lower lashline, and MAC Technakohl in Smoothblue on the lower lashline to brighten up the Deep Cobalt, and black mascara. On cheeks and lips: MAC Bi-Tone blush (LE, I could weep!) and Revlon Spicy Cinnamon.
On Wednesday: MAC Goldmine (inner third of lid), WnW Envy (middle), NYX Mermaid Green (outer), NYX Exotic Green (crease) and WnW matte black e/s (darken outer v). Stila Sumdgepot in Black on upper LL, and Smashbox Limitless in Onyx on lower LL with black mascara. Cheeks & Lips: MAC Light Over Dark Duo, NYX Syclia.

i’ve been slacking on makeup lately (started a new job, waking up early every day… ew), but i actually did a full face today i really like!

This brought out my eyes without looking overdone: NYX Champagne (light shimmery peachy brown color) on lids, matte dark brown eyeshadow in creases, and Rimmel Jet Black eyeshadow as eyeliner on top and bottom lash lines.
Oh I wore a turquoise UD on the lid (the name escapes me), MAC sunny spot on the inner corner of the lid, UD Goddess on the crease, and wore the turquoise on my bottom lash line, topped it all off with Blacktrack liner!
Vex on the lid, Copperplate in the crease, and Shroom as a highlight. Perfect every day neutral eye 🙂
I made the mistake of only bringing the Pop eye color palettes on my weekend jaunt so I had to discover how poor the quality of the product is. Hence the moment I got home I dug into my neglected MAC and put together Sugershot, Pink Slip( I know this one is stubborn) and Mystery and it came out subtley smokey. I’m also hooked on OPI Skull and Glossbones, which even though OPI can really grind my gears, is a pretty rockin color.
I am trying out my surf baby crushed metal pigments…the first one I was dying to try was the gold, such a pretty colour…I used it all over my lid and a bit underneath with tons of mascara and perversion on the lower lash line…we are having a party tonight and its the perfect welcome summer nights look! Just a little orgasm on my cheeks and boy bait cremesheen on my lips and I am ready to rock!! YEAH for the end of school and begining of summer!!

EYESUrban Decay’s Naked Palette has been my saving grace. Smog on my lid and Darkhorse in my crease. MAC’s Stereo Rose Mineralized Skinfinish as my highlight. MUFE’s Aqua Mascara for my lashes. I line my upper lash line with Stila’s liquid eyeliner in black. And my lower lash line with Urban Decay’s 24/7 pencil in Zero. My lower lashes I use Clinique lower brow mascara in black.

Wore a yellow and orange/red look. Got lots of compliments on it! I put Sun Blonde on the lid, Coppering in the crease and blended a little Embark on the outer v part. I lined my lower waterline with a teal liner. It looked awesome! Sun Blonde+Coppering=Love!
uhm i would have to say a beard and a mustache..considering thats all i wore…i guess i should explain..im in a special fx makeup class..this week we were doing beards. yeah….
I wore MAC Mineralize e/s trio in Togetherness. I used the gunmetal shade as eye liner, put the light pink shade all over the lid w/ the dark violet shade in the outer crease. I also used Benefit High Brow and Zoom Lash in High Esteem (the dark gray). On my cheeks, I used Sakura Mineralize Blush and Perfect Topping MSF. On my lips, all I used was The Faerie Glen lipstick.

My favorite look this week was a blue bronze & green eye. I used UD adore on my lid blended with NYX walnut in the crease & I lined my lower lashine with UD mildew liner. I added just a touch of taj mahal blush & a no name nude lippie.
I did a look with KVD Rebekah on the lid, UD Smog blended on the lid and up to the brow bone, UD Hustle on the outer and inner corner. MAC bronzer, and MAC Rebel lipstick.
I’ve been experimenting with some bright OCC liptars (self made Beta and Grandma!) with neutral eyes. The all out ones are a bright lime green, forest green and glitter matte black from INGLOT with Grandma liptar. And some random blush and bronzer
