You too, huh, Christine?!? Yes, it really is THAT good! I’ve already done 4 full looks with it, just bringing in a transition shade, and today, one “partial” look using Olive Gray (weird name bc it’s not olive or gray!) , Pink Nude and Pink Beige with some MAC Sable and Dance In The Dark. That MUFE 15 Artist Shadow palette is one true gem!
I think this one makes up for a certain other brand’s eyeshadow palette…?

The MAC “Magic of the Night” In Extra Dimension Skinfinish in SHAFT of GOLD.

I know everyone is salivating over “Oh, Darling” (which I also have), but “Shaft of Gold” had me at Hello! I wore it for the first time yesterday, and I swore I heard a choir of heavenly angels singing. Lol
? ? ♪♫ Awwhhhhhhhh..♪♫
My goodness! So pretty! That skinfinish shade was totally made for me.

Momo Avatar

It’s absolutely worth it! I hope you get it. At first, there were plenty left, but now it seems to be disappearing quickly. The only sites online that still have “Shaft of Gold” is Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s. It might be different in-stores, though.

Nancy T Avatar

Woohoo!!! I did it, I pre-saled Shaft Of Gold and will get it on Dec.4th when that MAC store has their Magic Of The Night Event! I almost bought the Evening Rendezvous lipstick, but it looked IDENTICAL to a LE Maybelline lipstick I have 2 tubes of called Violet Intrigue.

Momo Avatar

Yaaaaaaay! ? Congrats!! You’re soooo gonna love SoG!!

Evening Rendezvous is such a pretty color, but if you already have something identical to it, then don’t bother. I’d only bought the skinfinishes, but I’m tempted to pick up one, or two, of the eyeshadows that was part of the release. However, I’m a bit hesitant. Why? I have no idea. Lol.

Neutrogena’s lip crayon in rich raisin. I usually like bold lip colors, but I find myself reaching for this one more and more.

Lately I’m really excited about the purifying toner mist from Derma E. I’d been looking for something with antioxidants and NO witch hazel or chemicals for a while and this is soooooo nice. My skin is more even and isn’t as quick to sprout up blemishes when I’m stressed.

Erica Avatar

Everything is a chemical even this but I too have been looking for this. I do not know what store carries it. Maybe I will have to try online. I need a decent toner w/o alcohol or witch hazel!

StrangeOne Avatar

I’m seeing a lot of sephora reviews saying they don’t seem to have gotten a good batch of the palette. I was slowly creeping towards wanting it but this has put me off completely since I can’t do returns.

Paz Avatar

Omg, you’re right! The MUFE palette has been getting only bad reviews on Sephora lately, which is really concerning. I was bidding for it on Ebay since everyone and their little sister is raving about it, but now I’m afraid I may get a dud ?

MAC Ruby Woo. Not a new product by any stretch but I pulled it out for a special event and paired it with gold glitter liner on the lower lash and really loved the look.

Anne Avatar

That’s a toughie as I have been getting more skincare than makeup as of late as I can’t really wear makeup (and I’m a bit unfocused right now as I’m getting a giant needle stabbed into my C7 vertebrae on Monday…) but I think if I’m going for LOVED it would probably be Tanya Burr’s new lipgloss formula in Picnic in the Park. Before that formula, I had never found a lipgloss that I liked the look of, or the feel, let alone both. This basically made me like lipgloss for the first time, and I’m 27 so that’s a long time coming. It’s a peachy-pink shade that is probably buildable (some of the other darker shades are very pigmented) but I prefer it a bit more sheer. It’s got enough slip to go on easily, and enough stick to stay put but not so much it attacks my hair. It feels comfy enough I forget I’m wearing it which is a first for a lipgloss for me. I’m not familiar with the old formula as she redid it recently, but the new one is fantastic. If anyone is interested, her line is available on FeelUnique which ships to the US and I believe loads of other places.

VAL Avatar

MAC Prep and Prime SPF50. I bought a tube of this from Duty Free on my flight out to the US recently. It was my first MAC purchase – I know I’m a late bloomer!! Love the feel of it and now that I’m home and not using it in 100% humidity my make up stays put all day. Have already bought a back up.

Marissa Avatar

the last one was MAC Amber Lights, this youtuber KathleenLights raves about it and i was like oh, i should try it and bam, it’s such a pretty shade…

Stacy Avatar

That would be the sheer finish Lippies from ColourPop (JUST the sheers. I don’t like their other Lippie formulas much at all). Those are so flattering on my aging lips, I swear I feel like going around making kissy faces constantly when I wear one LOL!

Rachel Avatar

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in Rosewood Shimmer. The color is gorgeous and the formula is perfect! I’ve been on a low buy for 2015 and it’s the first lip product I’ve purchased this year!

I want to once again shout the praises of the Urban Decay Spectrum Palette but I think I should discuss products that are actually available?

So today I tried a new look with the Urban Decay Smoky Palette and I truly love it!

Rebecca Avatar

I’d have to say the new MUFE Ultra HD Foundation! Definitely a different formula from the previous HD Foundation, but I find the coverage surprisingly good and oh-so-natural for such a lightweight fluid. I have a lot of post-acne pigmentation, and less than 1.5 pump manages to even it all out, and it looks like skin both in person and on camera. Not to mention it still looks new after 8 hours on my normal skin. I was hesitant with the mixed ratings on Sephora, but now I’m just confused!

Stephanie Avatar

MAC On Hold lipstick-I’ve had it for awhile and tried it the other day with a coppery look from the Warm Neutrals palette, and it was rediscovered. I want to wear it all the time now.

jaz Avatar

I am LOVING Mac shaft of gold as my more subtle highlight ( normally I’m all about that glow, but I went for an interview and I wanted to be more naturally glowy pretty) and Bobbi Brown creamy lip color in Raizinberry. Oh and I love the last few perfumes I have tried

Claire L Avatar

Sephora’s Ultra Shine Lip Gel in Pomegranate Delirium! Gorgeous colour, shine and sparkle! I’ve been trying the Bite Beauty Rewind set but although I love the colours, I think I might be allergic to the lip crayons ?.

Janelle Avatar

Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con No. 20. I originally wanted to wait until the 20% off Rouge event, whenever that’ll be, but was worried that it would sell out by then so I snagged this the other day and have been doing different looks every day. So versatile! And they’re so buttery and pigmented.

Nancy T Avatar

They are!!! Today, I wore Frosted Mauve on inner lid, Electric Purple in crease, blown out into Pink Nude or Beige (S-522), Electric Blue outer lid and lower lashline, Snow to blend edges of Electric Blue & Frosted Mauve!

Ginny Avatar

Armani Lasting Silk combined with Armani Crema Nuda. It’s full coverage but still natural looking. Love it for work.

On a side note, does anyone know if there is any chance that Sephora Canada will restock the MUFE 15 palette? I was waiting to swatch it but it never arrived in stores and now it’s sold out on the website with no indication of restocking… I’m having a minor freak out.

Valerie Avatar

I love the Custom Cover Drops by CoverFX! Haha, my favorite product on myself is one that you can’t really see when it’s applied well. There are other products I love just as much, but I feel this was a real gem of a find for me as I have struggled with so many different foundations that caused breakouts.

KP Avatar

Belif Moisture Bomb. It transformed my dry skin in 2 days. It is my HG moistureizer, and I have tried from Lamer to drugstore stuff, and this is outstanding.

Janie Avatar

Ugh, choices! These may seem behind the curve…?

Lipstick: Lipstick Queen’s Medieval. One of my go-to shades now. Great sheer or layered, and blends well over other colors. Really nourishing. Not the longest wear, but it’s so buttery, I don’t care!

Lip gloss: Armour Purple Rain. Shimmery fuchsia gloss that’s buildable. Is a bit stickier than I prefer, but hue is great. If you want it, though, get it soon – Armour is moving the shade to its vault soon.

Nail polish: jinSOON Charade. Beautiful warm slate, one of her runway colors from a previous season. A very different neutral that surprisingly goes with everything and is unusual but still understated. Also goes on like a dream and wears well.

Eye palette: Maybelline Blushed Nudes. Cool-toned neutrals that aren’t too dark or pigmented to work on pale complexions. Does everything I wish UD Naked palettes did for me but don’t. They’re all too dark and/or yellow.

Janie Avatar

Oops! Forgot to say Joy perfume is always awesome, but it sure ain’t cheap. But I never have issues with it, and I can’t wear most perfumes because of my allergies.

Flicka Avatar

There are actually 3 products I like on myself: Tarte BB tinted primer (excellent match for my skin tone in ‘fair’ – I just ran out), Buxom ‘Show some Skin’ foundation. I received a generous sample of this. The colour ‘Tickle me ivory’ matches my skin tone and it feels like you are wearing nothing. Still have to decide whether to get the Tarte primer again or the Buxom one. I also love Tarte Dollface blush on me.

Nancy T Avatar

I definitely know what you mean when it comes to those rich orange-hued shades emphasizing light eyes! Mine are light, a teal-green w/ some gold, and shades like MAC Brown Script and similar shades do wonders!

Cat Avatar

Brown Script is a color I’ve been curious about for a awhile. Now, even more so! I’d really like to spend some time swatching MAC shadows but I hate having my husband and/or kids waiting for me while I do that (even if they never complain). Maybe I’ll go in there alone (***sniff***) one day during the week and swatch everything! LOL If I still lived in Arizona… =)

Nancy T Avatar

Right?!? So much fun going over to Scottsdale Fashion Square! That MAC Store is so cool, and has some truly awesome MUA’s! Plus, Sephora is only an escalator ride and a short walk from there…it’s a makeup lovers paradise ??

Bibi Avatar

Milani Baked powder blush in Dolce Pink.
A cheap thrill at $7 for this hardcore Cle de Peau & Chanel fan.
Absolutely gorgeous with glowing but natural looking color, super pigmented, lasted 6 hrs.
Not bad at all.

I played with some makeup last night for a few hours, so I can’t really say this as a definite, but the Colourpop eyeliners! I tightlined with the black and it didn’t transfer to the waterline (impressive), but like i said, I haven’t actually worn it out and seen the lasting power, even thought I’ve heard it amazing.
But the last product (or product combo) I was really thrilled about was MAC’s soar lipliner and brave lipstick. I was happy it didn’t smudge at all, lasted through a night of drinking, and didn’t dry my lips out or fade in any gross way.
