The LM Caviar Eye Stick in Orchid– I think it is now being discontinued– so I scooped another one up.
However, I have been known to misplace an item and buy a backup, only to find the misplaced one in another purse.
I am about to pick up back ups of Jack Black’s eye cream, moisturizer, glycolic, and hand cream for my hubby, who has started using them consistently! So proud him!

The Armani Neo-Nude foundation. It’s easily one of the most beautiful complexion products I’ve ever used. I’m thinking about buying another in the upcoming SEPHORA sale, though I’d have no issue paying full price (but why do that when I can get a discount?) I really don’t think I want to be without it.

Neo Nude is such a gorgeous line. For me it’s the Fusion Powder which is more like a finishing powder than foundation. Already finished one, have another on its last legs and a third waiting in the drawer.

Same! Picked up four, should last me a long while.

I only buy backups of skincare, and when I do, I buy one (so I’m not caught by surprise when I use it all up). So this was my first time scooping up conscious backups. I’m gonna really miss Becca.

With everyone building stocks of their Becca favorites, I wish someone would post the manufacturing dates to see how old they are already.
I know that no one is crazy like me with expiration dates, and th powders should be fine… but I’m the only one questioning how old the cream primers and correctors are and how old would they be before finishing 2-4 backups? 😅

I will miss the Becca 24 Hours Foundation and the Hydrating Concealer, but I don’t plan on getting any backups.

I have heard there are websites that allow you to check batch codes for manufacture dates. I have heard of checkcosmetic.net and checkfresh.com but I have not used them.

I can’t live without my Perricone MD Sub-D neck cream. It’s fabulous!! I buy it when I see it on sale and always have a back-up on hand. I also keep back-ups of Fresh Sugar lip serum and their lemon lip balm. These are musts for me. Finally, I always have a backup of Caudalie dark spot corrector. This is the brand that works best for me and I have tried many different dark spot correctors.

Thank You Farmer Sun Project Light Sun Essence spf 50 PA +++ . The only product I now buy in multiples is facial sunscreen. I buy from overseas sources so I need to factor in a few weeks for shipping and sometimes there is a shipping charge as well to amortize. They come in 50 gram tubes that I use up within two months so I am not worried about expiration but I still don’t buy more than two or three at a time.

Lesley,
Sokoglam, based out of NYC, sells Thank You Farmer and other sunscreens. They curate Asian Beauty products and back their authenticity. Customer service is also top notch. I used to but the bulk of my Asian skincare (sunscreen being at the top) online at places like Amazon but wondered if I was getting “fakes”. Now this saves me the hassle and international shipping charges. There are a few others like Plump Shop, Glowie Co and iHerb (has a K Beauty section) that I’ve purchased through with no issues. Hope this helps you out!

Becca’s Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector. It’s my HG product for taking the shine off my face (I rarely wear foundation, and there are times my nose and forehead are mirror-shiny), and to date, I haven’t been able to find a dupe that even comes close.

There was a MAC 20% off offer last week so I repurchased back-ups of the ProLongwear Concealer and Brow Big Boost Fiber Gel. In recent years I just keep repurchasing my current favorites, rarely trying something new. I do miss the old ProLongwear Eye Brow Gel… but MAC loves discontinuing the good stuff.

And once it’s back on stock, I’ll get triple backups of Paula’s Choice Body and Hair wash. 😅 It’s been out of stock for the entire month, costumer service said it will be back tomorrow, but I got panicked. I can wash my body with my face cleanser, but I refuse to get another shampoo.

Keeping my eye on Urban Decay Vice lipstick in Rush. They are steadily discontinuing or reformulating everything. I’m not buying any color lip products until masks come off, but I’ll make an exception if it looks like they will do away with my perfect lipstick.

I bought a back up of Dior 999 blush …mind you it’s super pigmented so it’s going to take a while to even get through one ..but it’s my favorite blush ever and I’ve had way too many products I love get DC’d and I don’t discover they are no longer available until it’s too late.

I’m surprising myself, I’m not buying any backups of anything. There are so many new things coming out that I don’t have a need to buy back ups. I always want to try new things so this is what works for me. The only thing I ever stocked up on was the Tony and Tina sparkle eyeliners and nothing has ever come out to replace them and mine are still going strong with no problems.

I rarely purchase back-ups of anything, because I tend to love a product to the point of obsession when it’s initially opened, but then get completely burned out on it by the time it’s half gone. My one exception, however, is NARS Afterglow Lip Balm in Orgasm. It’s my “Ride or Die” product, and I currently have 3 back up tubes so I never have to worry about running out. I feel naked when I’m not wearing it, lol!

A few: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, Dr. Jart’s Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment, Dark Blonde Cosmetics Liquid Concealer (company has closed shop so I need to find every last bit of their concealer- inexpensive and works perfectly on me), and if it EVER came out again, I’d jump on it, Burt’s Bees Wings of Love Tinited Moisturizer (it was before it’s time!)
