What was the last perfume you fell in love with?

Pierre Guillaume Paris Coze 02. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH but it is only an eau de toilette, so I feel like I’ll go through the whole bottle in a few months because I end up using five or six sprays, lol! I love spraying it on my sheets, too.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for the review, Christine. I don’t own this one but a number of the other Parfumerie Generale, even the edt really last on the skin. I was given a bottle of No14 Iris Oriental and that was the one that started my love of the PG house.

Skylar Vanilla Sky…
I discovered recently that a Sephora opened in an apartment complex near me (I usually go there because there’s a Whole Foods).
I was so in the mood to test vanilla fragrances that I sprayed a few on paper testers, went outside to smell them (I’m not taking the mask off inside a store) and I was very disappointed of everything… except Skylar Vanilla Sky.
Went back to also tastes on my hand… total love, I might end up getting the candle first. 😅

Probably Paloma Picasso and that only happened because SDM had a bottle for $19.99! I grabbed it and scoured various locations for more at this price (with no luck) but was so enthralled by it that I purchased a regular priced one but used my Optimum points so it actually didn’t cost me anything which is always wonderful. Before that, it was Maison Margiela’s By the Fireplace which I bought in very early 2018.

Shopper’s Drug Mart, a drugstore chain in Canada. 20% off for seniors (pretty much anyone over 50) and an amazing loyalty points program.

Libre Eau De Parfum by Yves Saint Laurent. I`m VERY funny about fragrance, and this one struck the right chord. I wore it through the summer into autumn into winter and still not tired of it, which is unusual for me!

Valentino Born in Roma – I discovered it together with my fiance and we bought it in both versions for men and women. Later it became the scent we both used on our wedding day last August and I still love it… my bottle is nearly empty now and I definitely need a new one.

I loved Maison Margiela Jazz Club as soon as I sampled it in Sephora a few months ago, and one of the SAs saying as she walked by that it’s one of her favorites made me feel even better about putting it on my birthday list!
