What was the last new beauty product or release that excited you?

Clionadh’s multichrome extension! It was what I was really looking forward to this year, and it lived up to expectations!

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I haven’t bought any new releases that have excited me lately, so does “new to me” count? If so, my answer is MAC lipstick in Bronx, which I just recently bought. I know it’s not a new release, but it really surprised me because I recently started wearing Invisalign (which makes wearing lipstick a challenge), and Bronx is a beautiful shade that stays on so well and does not get all over my trays.

JUST saw last night on Jen Luv that Menagerie Cosmetics is coming out with a Cat (Claws) and Dog (Paws) themed collection, and I am SO curious to see what those are all about!

However, the one that took my heart to new places and my $ was the Nomad Cosmetics Bosque Nuboso de Monteverde palette! And it absolutely does live up to its hype. My only complaint is that I find the mattes a bit powdery, and that they do have to be built up. Still, totally worth it because of how gorgeous and unique of a look one can obtain from using it.

It was the SG x Temptalia singles that were released by the brand that really interested me this year, so far. I ordered a number of them and they have all been splendifiorous – particularly Phosphenes, Exquisite Opulence and Hot Stuff.
Before that, it was Lorac’s releases last year – Noir, Soleil and Fairytale Forest.
