What was the last nail polish you wore?

My nails have been in SHAMBLES for weeks! I’ve just broken so many for stupid reasons, so nothing that recently, but the last was ILNP Sitting Fireside.

I haven’t had anything on my nails since I don’t know when – with all the hand washing and nail scrubbing and sanitizing, polish wouldn’t stand a chance on my fingernails. But I had a pedicure a few weeks ago (need to go for another soon) and while the label had fallen off the bottle of polish I chose, I’m pretty sure it’s OPI’s I’m Not Really a Waitress.

I’ve rescued a few older, thickened polishes using a nail polish thinner (not acetone or polish remover) – you can buy products specifically to thin out polishes that have become thick. Also, as far as I know, it’s still available (I bought a bottle a few years ago at the airport on the way home from Delhi when we were in India for a wedding).

Currently OPI’s “Meet Me On the Star Ferry,” but the next one (probably redo my nails tomorrow?) will be “Less is Norse!” I go through cycles – for months I’ll do my nails, then I won’t – but I’m excited for fall colors (and soon Halloween nails!).

I’ve been using Risqué “Ouro Nude” lately which means “nude gold” and that’s a pretty accurate description! It’s somewhere between a dark beige and a very light brown, with light gold flecks. It’s a lovely colour and I like the fact that’s it’s so understated but still makes my nails look composed without too much hassle.
I love the burgundy in the pictures but I’ve been feeling too lazy for anything “off-beige”! This week, the weather finally started changing and the nice summer days are gone. It would be nice to live in a place where it’s summer all year round! Or at least to be able to visit! Ahh!!!!! What I wouldn’t give for a lounge chair, a mojito and neon pink nails! It would be nice!

First of all what I know about nail polish would get me no where lol. I’m one of those women that has Essie Ballet Slippers for 3 years and it’s all gunky then I buy a fresh one lol but when I was at Ulta they had a pretty color near the check out and it’s their brand called Squad Goals. A pretty frosty raspberry color. I just buff my nails. Never been into polish

I have OPI Rainbow in Your Fuchsia on my toenails and Mavala Petunia on my fingernails.
I did have the same on both finger and toenails, but I have to redo my fingernails a lot more often than my toenails.
Both are pink, at least.
I can go for months with only a nail strengthener on my fingernails and suddenly feel it’s time for colour. I have weak nails that peel break easily so strengthener is a must.
