We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Same. Surratt was a top choice and has better range, but I think PMG formula edges it out.
Same. This is one of the best blush formulas out there…and I’m not a huge fan of PMG in general, but fell in love with these blushes.
In spite of spending an inordinate amount of time here, reading Temptalia, I don’t follow a lot of makeup blogs, etc. or even read fashion magazines any more so I’m usually unaware of “hype” so really, the only things I can think of aren’t all that recent – the (now discontinued) BECCA Luminous blushes, the UD Game of Thrones palette (a few really first rate shadows are what make it “worth the hype”) and MAC’s Extra Dimension blushes. Also, the more recent Dior 5-pan shadows – I love those that I purchased and they are first rate (though, was there much hype about them?). I’ve also got to mention my Temptalia On the Horizon palette!
Same (PMG blushes)
The SG x Temptalia collab! I haven’t been that hyped about a release in a very long time, and it has been fantastic–the quality and the color stories! I’ve also been very impressed with the Fenty cream blushes. Finally, I haven’t tried any of them yet, but I’m very excited to see the UD Vice lipsticks doing well on review.
Thank you, Charlie <3
Dior Birds Of A Feather and their new highlighters, most recently!
Before that, your collab with Sydney Grace!
Last one that comes to mind is Lancôme Idole Mascara. So good! I’m also not a huge primer fan but NYX Marshmellow primer and the elf putty primer matte have been so worth it IMO …surprisingly
Sydney Grace x Temptalia palettes. I didn’t think they’d be bad, but they exceeded my (high) expectations.
Thank you <3
I think its a tie between Pat McGrath Divine Rose II and Natasha Denona Glam palette. For me, they both lived up to the hype.
I don’t really follow the ‘hype’ but just go with what suits me.
The last product that was worth the ‘hype’ was yours Christine – The SG x Temptalia eyeshadow range.
Anything PML has never let me down.
as far as I am concerned.. mother Pat can do no wrong
I’m out of the “hype” for a while now, so this will be going back, but ND Glam. I think it’s now of the best cool-tad warm palettes that is versatile in the market. I of coure tweeted it but adding two colors from her Bronze palette (and removing two of the warmer colors). Once that was done, I have my fav palette so far for any look, and mostly for casual to work place. It’s not a colorful palette, but with Deep Dive & Rhodium, you can go pretty far!
So sorry, autocorrect from other languages: “now one of” and “of course tweeked it by”
