I just got into face masks, so I don’t know what’s good and not good for me yet but I enjoyed the Tony Moly “I’m Real” tea tree mask. I was at a big metal fest over the weekend and my skin was feeling not so great. Afterwards it felt refreshed! I’m going to definitely be trying more.
Tony Moly Pureness 100 Pearl face mask. It is for brightening the skin. I have also used and like the Sephora Pearl Mask. I use a Freeman moisturizing face mask on my hands every night. It is meant for the face and is a sleeping mask but I slather it on my hands and arms and in the morning my skin is so soft.
It’s been awhile since I could use one! But I did use one several days before this whole thing hit. Rodial Stem Cell Cream Cleanser, it can also be used as a very nicely moisturizing mask if left on for 15 minutes! ?
Manuka Doctor Apinourish Rejuvenating Mask. I’ve only used it once but so far I’m really liking it. My face definitely felt hydrated, plumped, softer & firmer. It was super expensive though, even with the recent Sephora sale discount so I haven’t decided if I’d buy it again. The good news is that a little goes a long way and I think one jar will last quite a while.
Ole Henriksen Instant Transformation Lemon Facial Peel. This one is a keeper, I think.
Clarins Hydra Quench mask!
Zelens Transformer mask. I’m finishing up a deluxe 15ml sample. While a little has gone a long way, I don’t see that it’s made any difference to the texture or radiance in my skin and my face does not seem much plumber, even after leaving using it as an overnight mask. Perhaps it’s not for me and my current skin routine is sufficient but at that price I feel like I should see some effect.
Keen to read what everyone else has been using!
Beauty Essentials Be Pure Mask, a clay mask with some salicylic acid, it’s only like $4 at Priceline and it works pretty well.
Blithe Citrus Splash Mask. So hydrating and firming! May I add also brightening.
Just last night I used Clinique’s Moisture Surge Sleeping Mask but that was mostly so I can just get that thing used up.
Absolution Aura mask! It contains manuka honey (great to treat hyper pigmentation) and deeply hydrate the skin. I love everything about it ?.
I love Manuka honey. I am going to put it straight on my face and see how it works.
Tony Moly avocado mask since my skin was thirsty. Nice and soothing given the price.
Too Cool for School’s Pumpkin sleeping mask!
Holika Holika Red Wine Therapy Sleep Mask. It certainly had a wine aroma, but didn’t seem to make much difference to my skin despite leaving it on overnight as per instructions. Having said that, though, my skin did feel very clean, just not hydrated as I’d hoped.
I used the Boscia Luminizing Black Mask. I love it, since it gets rid of unwanted peach fuzz without having to wax or thread.
Biologique Recherche mix of masques — Masque Vivant on forehead, nose, chin. Masque VO2 around eyes and mouth. Both masques mixed together on cheeks.
Am excited about trying mine this weekend!
Image Skincare Vital C Hydrating Enzyme Mask – extremely gentle, hydrating and smells so so good! Leaves my skin soft and glowing, I love it.
May Lindstrom the Honey Mud. It’s one of my favourite cleansers, but also pulls double duty as a masque.
Origins ‘clear improvement active charcoal mask’. With more humid weather, I needed a deeper treatment to clear oils and pores, and this works really well for me.
I like to use TonyMoly sheet masks. I used the Hyaluronic acid one last and it was super moisturizing. I am definitely gonna keep those in my rotation. Before that I tried the anti aging pumpkin mask and found it to be very drying, and I already have a super dry face. I was flaky the next day! The next one I will try is the ceramide mask, which I have good expectations for.
I never used masks in my life but sometimes I soak cotton pads with toners and put them on my face for about 10 minutes for a makeshift mask.
I do have to agree that sephora face sheet masks are good. I bought some for my mom and she loved those.
Glam glow the brightening one. I did wear the peeling lotion from The Ordinary on my face last night. It’s suppose to be left on like a mask. But not sure if that counts.
I don’t use face masks. I am so afraid of having an allergic reaction to one that I can’t even go through with it and I’ve tried lol.
Freeman manuka honey, tea tree, and clay mask!
It’s a cleanser if you wet your face, and it’s a mask if you put it on dry skin and let it dry!
I love this stuff for my oily yet dehydrated skin!
The Herbivore Blue Tansy AHA + BHA Resurfacing Clarity Mask. I have mild rosacea (just started a treatment prescribed by my doctor last week) and this mask is so soothing and calming. For me, it works; it leaves my skin smooth without any irritation. I’ve been using it once a week for the past three months and ordered a second jar from Sephora during the VIB sale.
ole henriksen blueberry blackberry enzyme mask !:)
LUSH Rosy Cheeks is great. It smells delicious and leaves my face very smooth.
Try it if you haven’t yet 🙂
It’s either I’m Honey Mask or Fresh Rose; I think it was Fresh Rose.
I didn’t have a face mask handy last week so I improvised by saturating thin layers of Shiseido cotton in Tatcha Dewy Mist and layering them over my face. It worked well, but a prepared mask is so much more convenient.
Don’t use any store bought one’s but about once a week I use plain greek yogurt and honey and apply as a mask. It does brighten!
I multi-masked; using Sanctuary Spa 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask on my T-zone and Rosy Cheeks by Lush on my cheeks – worked well for my sensitive skin/combination skin!
Decleor Hydra Floral (for years and years), but I also have Fresh Rose
Farmacy
Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask with Echinacea GreenEnv
I used the Boscia Luminizing Black Mask yesterday. Fun to peel off!
I haven’t used a face mask yet, but I know I should. I do have a couple in my skincare bag and one of them is a Sephora one. I should give it a go.
Dr.Jart + Vital Hydra Solution Sheet Mask
First Aid Beauty’s 5-in-1 Bouncy Mask. Fantastic! I love how if feels, and what it does for my skin.
The bad news: I’m sad that I only have one more use from the little travel-size tube I got in a kit. I won’t buy the full size because of the jar packaging (a big pet peeve. So gross!). So unless they change that, when the baby tube is gone, it’s gone 🙁
I don’t use them often I forget! I like Bhorghese, Freeman, I tried Julep clay mask and I think it is good but probably I should rinse it off before the time it recommends left the area around nose bit flaky I think for oiler skin (mind is in the dry/combination side) is better.
I used Drunk Ekephant Baby Facial last night and I have Tatcha face and eye masks queued up for tomorrow or Friday. I like to rotate through clay, resurfacing and hydrating masks throughout the week. I’m very interested in the May Lindstrom masks and need to give those a go sometime soon.
Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay
The Beauty Counter Purifying Charcoal mask! Definitely the best charcoal mask I’ve used, it kills any breakouts on my face and makes my skin so soft. I’d use it more often if it wasn’t so expensive!
Belief The True Tincture Camomile Mask!
It’s gentle and soothing, and feels like I’m nourishing my face whenever I use it as opposed to sucking it dry. It smells delightfully floral/herbal as well.
Herbivore Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarity Mask is the best one I’ve used recently. It’s got a slight cooling effect but it doesn’t do that weird burning thing that sometimes those “cooling” or “warming” masks do to my skin. It’s the last skincare item I used up completely and I have been recommending it all over the place.
Guerlain in the dark blue and gold jar. Wonderfully hydrating and restorative for seriously dry skin. Soothing, comforting, puts you back where you want to be.
