What was the last eyeshadow palette you used?
Pat McGrath Moonlit Seduction! Not my favorite PMG palette – quality is still there, but I’m not personally loving it.

ColourPop Stone Cold Fox
Not a palette, per se, but a quad – Kiko Rosy Taupe quad that I got quite a few years ago when I was in Rome. Something made me think about it the other day and for the past 2 days, I used it. Not my favourite but certainly a really nice little quad and a LOT of product.
Wondering why? Is it because you prefer ND Biba for this color scheme? I don’t have Biba (because I just have too many dupes for it) so, I’m interested as this one by PMG really peaked my interest more than any other since DRII.
It doesn’t work cohesively for me, and it’s very light-toned, so I find that there’s not a lot of versatility.
That’s interesting that you say that, Christine. I’ve been noticing a lot the looks presented on Pat’s social media are on medium and darker skin tones – and the look great. But somehow I don’t see it having as much impact on my pale middle-aged eyelids.
Her palettes look amazing on people with mid-tone and darler skin. I struggle as a pale person because her paler folks usually have very artistic or editorial looks I can’t pull off in my life. C’est la vie.
Thanks for clarifying. Since you’re a tad lighter than me, I’ll trust the it likely wouldn’t work for me either.
NARS Skin Deep
Pat McGrath Mothership I Subliminal
Subliminal is one of her genius palettes. I am very fair and have hit pan on the transition shades and significant dips in some other shades. It was my first mothership and I have such a soft spot for it.
I might have to get a backup in case she discontinues it, It’s a perfect palette It works for fair and deep skin and that is rare for a cooler-toned palette.
I’ve been using a palette of Lethal Cosmetics singles I made myself recently but in terms of pre-made, Sydney Grace Coffee Talk was my last used.
Natasha Denona Lila
Nars Climax Palette. I finally bought it, after reading so many great reviews. So far, so good!
Sydney Grace x Mel Thompson Tiny Marvels. I’m trying to work through a weirdly intense desire for the ABH Nouveau palette and exploring the list of looks Christine created for TM.
Natasha Denona Retro and Natasha Denona Pastels. I used them together since, obviously, Pastels is fairly light, and I love the Retro palette. I’m also trying to use my vast collection so I often work with more than one palette — even to the point of having two different eye looks.
I used Sydney Grace California Coast today; was perfect for work. (Is it weird that I don’t normally like to use good quality eyeshadow for work? Feels like I’m wasting on work even though that’s 5 days of the week.)
Well, with my past several looks coming from self curated singles from Lethal Cosmetics and MAC in magnetized palettes, the very last pre-made by the actual company palette I used was PML Subversive Mothership III. Also, I have been using a shade here and there from Viseart Coy, too.
Lethal Cosmetics Roots Palette. Great color story and quality, and quite versatile for a 6-pan.
Yesterday I wore Kaleidos Power Punk palette, turned out nice.
Not sure it was a pallette, but I bought a NARS Voyager, used it four times and tossed it. The glitter got all over the entire compact and really messed my eyes up to the tune of $650.00 at the eye doctor. Big fun !
Yikes! Which colour was it? I find that some red pigments seem to really bother my eyes.
I bought the Nars Voyager in Suede to use on a trip, and I’ve been surprised at how much I loved it and how often I reach for it.
It was Quartz. Super chunky glitter. I didn’t swatch it at Sephora or I would have felt the grit. Live n learn 😢
Adept Cosmetics Ninhydrin
Interesting about this PMG palette – this one caught my eye (I only have Mothership 1), but will probably stick to the indies for my sparkly/shifty shade fix.
The last eyeshadow palette I used (which was yesterday – Friday for us and I am not dressed yet!), was Guerlain’s Les Gris quad. I choose it to co-ordinate with my navy attire for the day. It has a lovely silvery blue shade, plus that divine navy soft shimmer shade.
Viseart neutral mattes, topped with Clionadh multichromes for a concert
This is good to know I didn’t buy it at launch waiting for Sephora’s quicker ship times and I noticed the lag between launch and Sephora is much longer this time. Now I’m probably going to wait for a sale which I never do for her palettes.
I only wore one eyeshadow today-Jewels, the green shade from the Makeup Revolution Catwoman palette.
The Victoria Beckham Beauty Tweed palette.
Kotto Street Vintage 05 by Shiseido.
