What was the last blush that caught your eye? Did you purchase or pass?

About Face’s cheek balms seemed intriguing, so I made it my first priority to review those from the brand (which is new to me).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

The Patrick Ta Double Take Blush Duos. I bought She’s Blushing. It’s ok. It seems like much more of a fall color so I’m holding off until using it until maybe the middle of September . I will see if my opinion improves. I liked it after I wore it once but wasn’t wowed.

Well – there were two. One was MAC’s ED blush in Wrapped Candy which I’d passed on when they were first released but which I bought at the start of this year, when MAC had a 30% off sale. It’s discontinued now and I know I probably would have regretted not getting it since it’s gone (that’s often how I feel, even about products I’m not totally wild about) but I probably should have passed as it looks sort of brown, muddy and dull on me. The other – HUDA’s Glo-wish blush in Charming Cherry – caught my eye just when stores started to reopen and I was in the Sephora in Ottawa and just itching to buy “something”… So I bought it and I really like it though I don’t use it often enough.

YSL Couture Blush in Fuchsia Stiletto. I was passing by their makeup counter at Dillard’s and it caught my eye. It’s such a fresh, bright shade….I had to stop and swatch it and I walked around the store with it on my wrist and I couldn’t leave the store without buying it! LOL. I absolutely love it and I’ve been wearing it every day. I was looking for something to replace my Clinique Cheek Pop in Berry Pink (discontinued!!)
and this is perfect. Beautiful blush.

Oh, man, I am dying to get my hands on at least 2 of the new RMS blushes. Sephora Canada has not stocked (or re-stocked) them and I refuse to pay USD + shipping/import fees so the wait continues. I’m being forced to pass but I will absolutely purchase when I get the chance!

I am not a blush person, but I got a free sample of the Rose Inc creamy blush and it blew me away. I snagged it in Azalea, and then thanks to the very helpful brand ambassador who happened to be at the Sephora (and the wine I had for lunch, TBH), I also got the Rose Inc skin tint, concealer, and eye cream. I’m really happy with all of it!

Now that my beloved Clinique Melon Pop is in its last uses, I saw a Shiseido Inner Glow blush on sale and checked up its review on Temptalia – to see how it rated and what shade would suit me best. You can get them here in Aus, but at double the price. I ended up getting Twilight Hour – a medium pink with a soft pearl finish. I found it to be a little more pigmented that the Melon Pop – so a little goes a long way. I do like it and it sits nicely on my cheeks.
I am interested in those Give Me Glow blushes that you swatched the other day too.
