What was the last beauty tool that caught your eye? Did you purchase or pass?

Sonia G. brushes for sure. Lotus set caught my eye because of the new handles and also the very small crease brush. I didn’t purchase it (received as a press sample), but they are lovely.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I bought this face cleansing cloth thingy from QUO – the “Facial Cleansing Sponge” – I needed to bring a purchase up to $50 or some such thing. Anyway, this thing is a total wash out. I should have bought toothpaste or just about anything else. It’s microfibre on both sides with some spongey cushioning in between the layers. But it’s no more effective (and bulkier and more awkward) than just using a face cloth.

Quite awhile ago I saw Clarin’s Blush brush on sale at an Australian online retailer that I have purchased from many times and trust. I looked at it for a long time and when it was going for $20 I purchased it.
It is an angled blush brush, beautifully soft and it works well, as my older Real Techniques brush was not as good.

My last purchase so far lol are the Rephr brushes. They had a bogo that might still be going on. I’ve heard good things about this brand and will try them out soon.
