What was the last beauty product you finished?

What was the last beauty product you finished? Will you repurchase it?

shu uemura’s WKW cleansing oil! Not of that specific variety, and I currently have another one (that I reviewed recently) that I’ll probably work through before buying one! But it’s definitely worth re-purchasing 🙂

The only beauty items I ever finish are Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, Lush Celestial moisturiser & mascara, (last one Chanel Inimitable Intense) other than that my collection just grows and grows!

For skincare, Estee Lauder’s Idealist Serum. I’ve been using it for close to fifteen years, and I try to get every last drop out of each bottle.

For makeup, MAC’s ‘Girlie’ eyeshadow.

My sample of Dior Iconic Overcurl. Used it up and love it. Will be happy to repurchase (once I work through all the other mascara samples and so on in my stash).

That is my favorite eye cream. Keeps my eyes so moisturized and protected. I am trying to finish the La Mer cream I have which I am not too fond of. Then I will get Sisley. So sad the product has parabens. Wish the product came in a pump form or squeeze tube form. And trying to get the GWP too. But I do like that eye cream.

I’m close to finishing my third Sweetie! 🙂 It’s a staple colour for me and I keep ‘re-purchasing’ it with my Back-to-MAC empties.

Mac Powersurge kohl eye pencil. It’s a beautiful gold-ish that goes on smooth, and is so much better in real life than the color that shows up on the website.

Aside from that, I rarely finish anything – it is so easy to get distracted and keep buying new things to try out

I last finished a Nars primer sample. It was just ok, and smelled a bit too much like tea tree oil, which concerned me because TTO and my skin are not friends

MAC Prep + Prime’s Skin Smoother. I probably will rebuy this gem, because in spite of the pathetically low quantity in the pan for what you pay, it is an excellent product. I’ve tried all of the other brands, from Porefessional (it peels off my face and takes makeup with it!), to Primed & Poreless (broke me out), to Tarte’s s/b primer, UD’s version, etc., so on, and so forth. Makeup Forever’s HD primer is the only thing that comes close in quality, but MAC’s is unique in texture, and really gets the job done. I love it! Too bad I have to B2M it and get a new one.

I just finished up The Balm’s Geranium Toner and I will definitely be repurchasing it. I never knew a toner could help clear my skin up so well.

Wow! How long did it take for you to finish it? I hit pan on my Lovejoy blush in January 2012 and now, I have half of the pan left!

Almay Pure Blends Mineral Makeup; I won’t repurchase because I think it may have been DCd, and I still have 3 backups. I also want to move on to something else, so I’m currently purging my face product stash.

Lorac’s POREfection backed finishing powder is the last product I used up. It comes with quite a bit of product and I used every last bit then immediately repurchased. I use this as a powder foundation, but it does make a fabulous finishing powder for liquid foundation if you want a flawless look. This is seriously my HG powder foundation. It has amazing coverage and still looks natural and like it’s skin, and not some mask on my face. It’s a bit pricey, but you get a ton of product and it makes my skin look great, and actually keeps my skin in a good condition.

Cover Girl Clump Crusher! I’ve been using it nearly everyday for three months. It finally dried up on me though. I have a back up, but it’s the waterproof one. I’ll probably repurchase it again, but I have way too many unopened mascaras that I need to use up first. I started using Cover Girl Lastblast Fusion and I am not loving it.

i RARELY finish a makeup product (or even hit pan) but i recently finished a tube of Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. loved it, will repurchase

Seche Vite topcoat. I probably wouldn’t buy it again. Not because it’s a poor performing product, but Sally Hansen Insta Dri works just as well while being 3 free.

Ironically, I just finished a lot of wonderful products and already purchased more to replenish.
Boots Expert Sensitive Cleansing and Toning wipes from Target ($4.69 each – never go on sale) – just opening my third package tonight. Aveeno bar soap I am using for hand washing. Love it and just repurchased a lot of these bar soaps since they are on sale at CVS and Walgreens this week for Buy One Get One 50% Off so the final price is $2.69 each. I have spent a fortune for years on cold process handmade goat milk soap for my dry hands. ELF Wet Gloss Lash and Brow Clear mascara for my (hair dyed) eyebrows – a $1 at Target. I have this done now when every month when my roots are colored. Saves buying more eyebrow products and time. Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream in fragrance free – apply to hands then apply cotton gloves. I have used this cream forever and ever. It is $3.67 at Walmart. I have been alternating between this cream and newly discovered Aveeno Skin Relief Overnight cream, intense moisture in a 7.3 oz. tube – fragrance free. This was another Buy One Get One 50% Off at CVS this week which came to $7.49 per tube. Discovered L’Bri skincare on the Chic and Green blog (not affiliated) and just finished Gentle Cleansing lotion, Gentle freshener and Intense Moisture cream for my dry skin. I think it has made a huge difference in my skin. I ordered before I ran out. Most of the other items I use I buy at Walmart, Target, the drugstores or Sephora. Not finished yet but already have back ups of a newly discovered body wash, Aveeno Skin Relief, fragrance free body wash or store brand equivalent. Love, love, love this and retails for $4.97 at Walmart. Will use this body wash forever. I have tried so many body washes and this is doesn’t not cause any irritation and smells great. It is thick and moisturizing too.

My all time fave cleanser is Shiseido Ultimate Cleansing Oil with Shiseido cotton pads. I just finished a bottle last night and have another ready. I have been using this five years and it easily removes all my makeup and dirt on my face and body. It is a two step process. First wipe of makeup with oil on cotton pad and second rinse off completely with cool water.

SensiBiafine Eau Micellaire, one of the best eaux micellaires ever. Micellar makeup removers tend to dry my skin ( the Bioderma is really bad ! ), but this one is very soft. I will purchase again !

My Cle de Peau concealer. And I dread it when I finish that concealer because I have to refill it and it’s so expensive, $75, but I won’t budge on it, it truly is the best.

Last skin product was one of Clearasil’s Exfoliating beaded gels. Makeup wish, I recently knocked out my bottle of Maybelline FITMe foundation, a tube of L’Oreal Voluminous Lashes mascara, and I’m at the very last leg of my Sonia Kashuk tinted moisturizer. 🙂

Too Faced Amazing Face powder foundation. In my opinion, MUCH better than MAC Studiofix if you like powder foundation. It’s comfortable on, and gives you long wear with no oily breakthrough. The shade selection is limited, but the ones they have are good and fairly neutral in tone. I rarely hit pan in anything, so it’s kind of a big deal for me!

My favorite sunscreen ever! La Roche-Posay Anthelios Mineral SPF 50. Its seriously worth the extra money, was so light and blended well. My Skin is oily and the sunscreen didn’t break me out or make me oilier. It was actually a great base to my foundation. I will repurchase this item and have even recommended it to my friends!

Skincare wise I finished my last back up of the Neutrogena stress control treatment with salicylic acid. Sad to see it go! It was oddly discontinued out of that line…the face washes and mask remain I think. Makeup wise I finished a Revlon Nearly Naked bottle. Don’t think it’s a repurchase though – I’m in between shades and it’s annoying to have to mix :/

Just finished my Cocoa Pink Squeaky shampoo in Cotton Candy Canes. Probably wouldn’t repurchase as it doesn’t lather well. Also Mario Badescu Oil-Free lotion. Replaced it with Olay’s All Day UV lotion. It’s cheaper for more product, and just as good IMO.

Mac faux lipstick .. While I love a bold lip I find this is a great everyday neutral for my NW20 skin tone and have repurchased at least three times.

Skincare: Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Shea Butter (for dry skin) – Have decided to try Shu’s cleaning oils as the Clarins cleanser did leave my skin a little tight.
Makeup: Bobbi Brown Corrector – have repurchased!
