What trend are you really happy to see happening?

What trend are you really happy to see happening? The one that you’re totally indulging in?

Berry and red lips — I’m a huge fan of the 5-minute eye with a stronger, bolder lip for a really pulled together look.

I’m right there with you, Christine!!
I have been loving berry and red lips lately!!
They make an otherwise basic look transform into something amazing.
Berry and Red colours also tend to last a whole lot longer too which is totally perfect for parties and family events we all get in winter!!

Although, every now and then I go back to my pastel pinks and nudes and go all out with frosty eye, cheek and whatever other make up! I mean it is winter after all!!

Full brows!! I never gave in to the overplucked, overarched, drawn on eyebrow trend. But it made me cringe seeing other girls giving in to the tadpole eyebrow ‘trend’. I don’t think it flatters anyone. So I’m glad to see more girls with fuller brows!

Same! I think it’s a shame whenever thin brows are in style. If you keep plucking/waxing, eventually the hairs don’t grow back. When you age and brows naturally begin to thin, those with thin brows look especially scary.

I have been watching “Once Upon a Time” and I love Regina (the evil queen’s) lipstick. It is a deep mauve-ish berry-ish almost purple velvet color. I have so many lipsticks, but I don’t have anything like this one. I hope plush lip colors are a trend.

Metallic nail polish, it’s really fun to do and I think it’s really pretty.

I hope the crackle trend ends soon though – I think it’s – let me say this delicately – not the most flattering trend ever.

I am glad false eyelashes made a comeback. I never did quit wearing them and have worn them since I was 17 years old. I think they do so much to flatter the eyes.

I love that stronger mnakeup is back in style. I love that red lips and matte lips are back in style because people made such a mountain out of a molehill out of the wearability of either red lipstick or matte lipstick when before the 90s it was never an issue with women of any other decade within the 20th Century! LOL

Red vampy lips (think Face Atelier Revenge), plummy/mauvey blushes (think tarte Blushing Bride), bold black cat eyeliner or fuchsia lips (think Milani Rose Hip).

The non-standard pastel polish trend – not a new trend, but still going strong. What I wouldn’t have given to find opaque, non-frosty pale green/blue/icy pink polishes as a teenager!
