I still think there’s a lack of emerald green eyeshadows on the marketplace, so I’d still favor creating an emerald green with an inky depth and a twinkling finish that was very smooth but bright. I’d call it Apex of Envy ’cause it would be like MAC Jealousy Wakes but better š Sydney Grace for brand to make it!
Not only a lack of emerald green eyeshadow, but a lack of emerald green anything! It seems to be a color out of favor these days. I do love to wear the color. I have not found any emerald green clothes in the stores in probably the last 10 years but I finally found some on Amazon.
Oh my gosh, SAME! I love wearing it as a color, and it’s SO hard to find.
My all time favorite eyeshadow was by Sydney grace called Four Winds and they discontinued it. So sad!
It was a blackened purple that was a satin and I lined my eyes with it everyday. I cannot find a dupe nor does Sydney have one. Their other purples are leaning pink or too bright. Tried other brands to dupe and canāt find one.
A satin blackened purple highly pigmented
called Perfect!!!
SG might do that, and IMO, they rule greens. You have brought them a lot of business, with good reason both ways.
Not a new shadow but I would bring back the shu uemura that was like a taupe Erika F, I lost mine in my divorce
Jealousy Wakes needs a little sister!!
Because I still mourn the loss of that white gold duochrome by Jean-Pierre Cosmetique that looked nearly identical to a LE eyeshadow by MAC called Solar White, but the JPC one was more opaque and had a vivid shift between a cold white and a cool-toned light, bright gold flash, I would recreate that one. I would have it made by either JD Glow Cosmetics or Sydney Grace. I would call White Haute Sun.
I still haven’t found a good deep but bright smooth, metallic blue. Not quite Navy. I would like it in Chanel’s ombre premiere formula, or one of Dior’s newer nicer formula.
Yep, this kind of shade is very hard to find. I would definitely be interested in this one!
Have you tried Colourpop SSS in Coconuts? That one fits this bill for me. Leans slightly teal.
I’ve given this a fair bit of thought (clearly, I don’t have a lot to think about just now) and, even to my own surprise, I’d want an eyeshadow like either UD’s Maui Wowie or Midnight Cowboy Rides Again – either one of those 2 gorgeous but unwearable shadows. They’re unwearable because of the uncontrollable glitter. Even if you have the time and patience to clean up what falls everywhere during application, they are both shadows that “keep on giving” throughout the day. I love Maui Wowie so much that I even bought a 2nd pan of it when UD supposedly “reformulated” it so there wouldn’t be such glitter fallout. HA – they are SUCH liars! I’d want Anastasia to make it (since they do seem to be able to manage high sheen and glitter without the fallout) and I might call it “Staying Put”.
Agreed. But the āinā people are splashing it all over the place, over the brows, cheeks, blown out. So they will be able to use those classic, ridiculous UD shades at this moment. Iād look like an old fool who tries too hard.
LOL – THIS old fool likes/needs things generally to stay put – glitter in eyeshadows, my keys…my phone…my gym bag (I’ve just listened to a hilarious audio book about a woman facing her 50th birthday and dealing with the accompanying brain fog of not remembering where she’s put things, not remembering names of actors or films or books….she says at one point that at 49, the tip of the tongue is a very crowded place).
That’s the best name for a (good) glitter eyeshadow I’ve ever heard.
Thanks, Carolina! I figure it also fits in with the current times and many of us “staying put” in our homes or in our “bubbles” to try to quell Covid 19. And I’d like it be a statement about the product being permanently permanent (as opposed to those cosmetic items that are labelled “permanent” and are discontinued within 3 years) as well as the glitter itself staying where one puts it!
I would ask Sydney Grace to make a deep and very cool toned taupe that crosses gunmetal grey with a foggy periwinkle. Could both a matte and a satin version of this be made?
Iām in, even with a lighter version.
That would be delightful! I love deep, deep shimmery greens. Geek Chic Cosmetics made a couple – You Know Who and one inspired by The Shadow – that are the best ones in my collection. But I don’t really have any mainstream ones that can compare.
For me I’m a sucker dark metallic teals. There’s a few already out there, but maybe I’d make mine sparklier probably.
I love mauves – they liven up hazel and brown eyes. LORAC pro1 has a perfect mauve tone. I would want that in a Suqqu satin texture. Iād call it Mauve, Please.
I would like to see a beautiful teal blue shade, with a soft shimmer finish, made by SG and called Winter Sky. It would like it to be made in both a soft shimmer or a satin finish too.
A lot of teal shades lean lighter and with more green in them. It’s hard to find a good one at the moment.
I want a dupe for Urban Decay’s Junkie from the Urban Spectrum palette. I want it made by Sydney Grace so it’s even better quality; name “It Should Have Been a Single.”
OH YES! – both on the shade itself and on the name. I never got Junkie (hate the druggie names) but loved the colour so your idea is perfect! Where do I sign up???
