Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Three things- religious use of sunscreen daily; a quality retinol product (doesn’t have to be expensive); and a high potency vitamin C serum that is packaged to preserve stability. I have mature skin that has become very dry with occasional excema so I keep my routine on the simple side. CeraVe face wash at night, vitamin C serum in AM plus sunscreen. Moisturizer AM and PM. I like Drunk Elephant for the C, but Kiehl’s is good too.

I’m 66 and I believe it is Retin – A 0.05 . Every night and in A.M. Elta MD tinted sunscreen broad spectrum SPF 44. I just wished I would have applied to my decolletage sooner!. I have been using Retin A originally for acne when it first came out and have continued using the retin -A 30+ years? I have 0 spots or wrinkles compared to my friends same age. The rest of my skin ? Ummm.. lol! As I run from liquid nitrogen gun…

Can you please suggest a good terracotta lipstick (mix of warm-orange-brown-red type of color) that will look good on light medium skin tone? Thank you!

Using dark eyeshadow as eyeliner creates a softer defined look but some shadows transfer terribly or completely fade away, even using eye primer. Which dark eyeshadow has the best staying power and won’t transfer?

What even is eye gloss? Companies keep trying to make it a thing. Mac tried it back in like 2012, and since then its popped upon and off. Most recently with Mario, About Face, REM, and then some other high end fashion brand I can’t remember. I don’t mean things like Jelly Much or similar products, I mean things that are literally clear gloss (remember Becca’s ‘pigment free’ highlighter??).

Is there actually a place for this stuff outside of the runway or photoshoot, where it just needs to last fifteen minutes? Is there some kind of polyisobutane surplus the industry is dealing with? It just keeps popping up!

I would like to know people’s favourite satin eyeshadows. To me it’s Sisley’s Phyto Ombre Eclat, but they don’t have the shade of light/medium brown I’m searching for. I loved Sherbert and Hot & Cold from ABH Self-made both the shades and the finish, but I can’t find any dupes with the same finish that aren’t discontinued.
The last few years have been about sparkling and metallic eyeshadow but something softer must be coming at some point.

Favourite cream eyeshadows, eyeshadow sticks, one and done, etc. I have barely bought any palettes this year and only have 1-2 on my radar (ND I need a nude and Lorac Noir) because I have been loving single potted eyeshadow so much.

Another would be top tinted lip balms, tinted lip oils, etc.
Basically low maintenance beauty 🙂
