What moisturizer are you currently using in the PM?

What moisturizer are you currently using in the PM? Is it HG material? Can’t wait to be out?

Right now, I’ve been using Kiehl’s Daily Moisturizer in the PM!ย  My skin just went so crazy, I decided to opt for a very minimalist skincare routine, and I figured using, virtually, the same moisturizer during the day and evening would help (it did!).

I just started using Clinique’s Super Rescue Antioxidant Night Moisturizer. I started feeling like I needed something more intensive in the nighttime.

This makes my skin feel really soft. I feel like it’s going to be a good preventative measure!

Me too! I’m currently using the normal to dry formula, and thinking about getting the very dry formula for extra moisture. Or mixing it with dramatically different gel as a way to save money.

Definitely a great night cream. My skin looks very radiant and nourished in the morning.

I’m using the Mary Kay Timwise nightime moisturizer. Since I use the daytime one i might as well use the nighttime with it, and they work really well together. I love the beads that burst in it, it feels so fresh on my skin!

La Prairie Cellular Resurfacing Cream – really love it, it’s pricey but I feel it is well worth it! Feels light, smells good, not sticky/greasy, and most importantly I am actually seeing a difference in my skin.

I’ve been using Lush products lately – my night moisturizer is the “Saving Face” serum after I’ve scrubbed my face clean with the ocean salt scrub & fresh farmacy bar cleanser – so far so good! I had been silly and tried a bunch of new products in a short period of time so I’m struggling to clear up a breakout frenzy on my chin ๐Ÿ™

I’ve recently wanted to use up all my fashial washes and toners that are half empty, and even though these things work on their own, switching so fast really broke my skin out.
Even though I love L’occitane, Neutrogena, I should learn that my facial skin really is best when I use Lush – it’s just not as fancy, which I sometimes miss. ๐Ÿ™‚

To tame my skin, I’ve been using the Ocean Salt scrub and Coalface cleanser, followed by Tea Tree Toner (best stuff ever) and I too use the Saving Faces serum. Some mentioned a powdery feel after using it – sadly I haven’t yet experienced it, but I think my skin is clearing up and also ‘tightening’: less visible pores, more even skintone. I really should stick to Lush (but I’m just a facial-cheater by heart :))

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who falls for all the new products! LOL I’m learning slowly but yes, Lush has been a very good for me! I have coalface & the tea tree water toner as well and I think I might be near obsessed with their products now.

Sadly, I have cystic acne which is aggravated by sensitive & combo oily skin – so when I react to new products, it’s painful and obvious ๐Ÿ™ I should just stick with my tried and true! But I’m a serial product cheater too LOL

I use Clean & Clear dual moisturizer oil free for both AM and PM, and I agree, using just one moisturizer has really controlled my breakouts.

Using Clinique’s Dramatically Different, mixed with REN Boswellia Serrata night cream. Both are HG products, and it stretches the expensive night cream further.

I’ve been using the Clarins Multi-Active Night Recovery Cream at night and I love it! Makes my skin so smooth. Its soothing and has helped with fine lines. No breakouts for me either!

Been using Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream for about a year now and have no reason to switch anytime soon. I apply lightly mostly on my cheeks because I have an oily t-zone.

korres wild rose moisturizer!

i had awful dry patches all over my face (but especially around my jaw line) a few months ago and after 2-3 nights of using this, my dry patches were pretty much gone. this moisturizer truly saved my skin… and it smells amazing!

I’ve been using Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer for night. It’s a little sticky when on but it is a wonderful moisturizer, so it’s perfect to slop on when your not going anywhere in the PM!

i have a really oily t-zone, so i usually only moisturize in the am with clean and clear’s dual action dealy. i wash my face twice a day tho, if i moisturize more or wash less… it’s like a frackin oil slick.

I am using Nuxe Etincelante Radiant Resurfacing Cream. It has AHA and gently exfoliates skin every night. I have been using it for two weeks and so far, so good…I am in my early thirties with combo/oily skin for ref. I had tried La Prairie Cellular Resurfacing Cream before and results were mediocre, esp considering the heftly pricetag.

I alternate between Bio Oil (it really made a difference in my acne scars and it leaves my skin feeling supple and soft in the morning) and Garnier Nutritionist.

Kanebo Sensai Silk Soothing cream, it is HG material (unfortunatly, I must add, because it’s really pricey) I went through 2 samples and just had to buy it, it really makes a difference to my skin.

I use the same as in AM…MAC Oil Control Lotion, on account of some problems I had, I’m also cutting down on the amount of stuff I put on my face.

Is that the same as the Kiehls ultra facial moisturiser Christine? I’m using that at both am and pm. its a pretty simple product and it works well.

Yeah its good under make up which is what i look for, and relatively cheap. I love trilogy’s vital moisturiser but its a lot more expensive. saying that my skin was probably not a lot better using it. i’ve got a mixture of acne (only tiny little spots but covering a lot of my cheeks, worse under certain lights) and dry spots – nightmare ๐Ÿ™

Lush Gorgeous Moisturizer. The texture is just perfect and moisturizes so well too! I’m also in love with the scent of it <3

I’ve been using organic jojoba oil. It’s lightweight, all natural and moisturizes beautifully. I think I will switch to extra virgin coconut oil for moisturizing in the winter because I get very dry.

I have tried soooooo many things & everything just broke me out. Finally I decided to go cheap & got Cetaphil & it is working well for me. Do you have any suggestions for a exfoliator that is good for really sensative skin?

I have been using Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate since receiving a sample in the spring. 100% HG material for me- 44, super oily t-zone, acne prone, fine lines around eyes. I have noticed *for the first time ever* pores & blackheads disappearing and a more even skintone. Yet unlike the ga-zillion glycolic, salicylic, aha etc etc products I’ve used, there is zero drying and irritation. It has a somewhat prominent lavender scent that could perhaps irritate a sensitive skin. I never thought using an oil on my face would be helpful, but I will weep if Kiehl’s discontinues this. At $42, and considering I use a few drops each time, this bottle is well priced & will last forever.

every night i use clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion. I have really dry skin and so this lotion is perfect to avoid flakiness and tightness around my face. I find that I don’t use as much now that it’s summer but it is still HG material ๐Ÿ™‚

Estee Lauder Veritรฉ Moisture Relief LOVE LOVE LOVE. Have been using it for years, and it’s the only moisturizer that 1) doesn’t feel greasy to me and 2) doesn’t cause irritation due to emulsifiers. Estee Lauder’s Veritรฉ line is designed specifically for ultra sensitive skin. Can’t live without it. I use it AM & PM.

After washing my face with Cerave or Cetaphil cleanser, I apply either MAMA Lotion (an AHA) or Aquaglycolic to even out my skintone. When it’s dry, I spritz with Boots Rosewater toner then apply Cerave PM Facial Lotion.

Just a note tho those who may also use Cerave PM Facial Lotion, I recently noticed that all the ingredients used in this product and their regular moisturizing lotion are nearly identical. Only the last few are different – and they are both noncomedogenic, non-irritating, and fragrance-free. For less money, you get about 10 more ounces. So, when I finish my PM lotion, I’ll just use the regular lotion for my face.

I did the same thing, NeenaJ, thinking I’m getting ripped off with the nighttime lotion, so I tried the regular stuff which I also like alot. There was a difference for me after a week or two so I bought the 2nd bottle of the PM lotion. My skin was softer and the tone a bit more radiant, so the few extra bucks were worth it (it’s still cheaper than other creams I’ve used).

I have super dry skin that’s also annoyingly sensitive and I’ve spent so much money on products that are blah at best (at worst I ended up worse!). So now, I use raw shea butter. Best discovery ever and my skin is ridiculously smooth.

I’ve been using Johnsons Shea and Cocoa Butter Cream…and I guess I didn’t realize at the time of purchase it is for dry skin and I have combination/oily skin. Its probably better for my body! I’m waiting for the Sephora Friends and Family Sale to try out a couple of new moisturizers.

I’m using LUSH’s Gorgeoud moisturizer. It makes my skin smooth and glowy! And it lasts me about eight months, so the price is actually a pretty decent value.

Cetaphil daily moisturizer, since i need something a bit more “heavy” at night, even though I have oily skin. It’s wonderful for night but i wouldn’t use it during the day.

Used to use Dermalogica’s Active Moist, but I could NOT keep up with the price ($36 for 1.5 fl oz? More than my poor college wallet can handle)– so now I use a Neutrogena Oil-Free for Sensitive Skin. It’s a little creamier, but it does the trick!

I’ve been loving CeraVe PM as my evening moisturizer for months now. I use it a lot during the day too. Perfect amount of moisture and my skin just completely drinks it up leaving a matte, natural finish.

At night I have been using Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Serum under Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel and I found that in the morning my skin is incredible smooth and soft.

I use Clarins Blue Orchid Face Oil because my skin is dehydrated and tends towards flakiness. Its great for thirsty skin, and hasn’t caused any breakouts or imperfections.

I am using my own homemade oil mixture made of hemp oil, apricot kernel oil, almond oil, jojoba oil and a few drops of e-vitamin. Definetly HG material ๐Ÿ™‚

I use Phytomer’s Douceur Marine Velvety Soothing Cream in the morning and evening. It’s pricey, but my super-sensitive skin loves it, and one pot easily lasts me 4-6 months. Love it.

Aveeno positively radiant night moisturizer. I like it. On the quest for something better. I love the Absolue from Lancome but I can’t afford it. I happened to get it in a sample.

I use Palmer’s cocoa butter night cream, and I actually like it much better than the day cream. The day cream has SPF, but I find it’s a bit greasy whereas the night cream leaves my skin feeling really smooth and mattified (is that even a real word? LOL!). It’s pretty cheap, too.

diorsnow white reveal i think its called ๐Ÿ™‚
its amazing. i tried a tester and just put it on overnight and my skin was immediately baby soft the next day. i dont feel the difference as much since i use it nightly.

Have you tried Egyptian Magic? It is the best all-purpose salve ever. It’s great for everything from alleviating nappy rashes to treating eczema, to clearing acne. If you really want a simple, no-nonsense beauty routine, try it!! It has only four or five ingredients, one of which is bee propolis, which is anti-microbial. This stuff really works!

I love Aesop. It is an Australian brand that can only be purchased via the net in the States (as far as I know).
They have a night time product called Fabulous Face Oil. It sells for around the 40 dollar mark in Australia but the tiny bottle lasts for months! It leave the skin moisturised and velvety. Absolutely beautiful! It also works well during the day if skin is a little out of condition. Add one drop to your daily moisturiser and what a difference ๐Ÿ™‚

My HG morning and night moisturizer has been Purpose for years…I have super sensitive skin and it doesn’t make me break out AND it has a little sunscreen. I’m 24 though, so I’m probably going to have to start shopping for a wrinkle prevention product soon.

I use the same one morning and night…Skin Actives Anti Aging Cream with Resveratrol. It’s loaded with actives, not fillers, yet doesn’t cost a fortune or break out my oily skin.

I am now adicted to the OLAY Regenerist line and don’t think I can change back. Its sold at all retailers and has clinical studies showing true results. What more can I ask for??? Love it and slather it on nightly.
