What lipgloss would you create if you could? Share the brand, color, finish, name!

I want a mega-shimmery–but finer pearl, more metallic–with a semi-opaque amount of shimmer so it could be worn alone or layered over something else (thus, more of a tinted base, maybe peachy) with gold-green shifting pearl with darker copper and red pearl. I’d love it in Pat McGrath’s Opulust formula–I think it gets the finish I’m looking for right. I’d name it Hidden Treasure.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

After spending the weekend trying to find just one tube of MAC Save Ya Tears Hunny Lipglass unsuccessfully, I would love to create a lovely lavender shade of that tone, slightly brighter base, but with the iridescence of a soap bubble in summer! I would name it: Blowing Bubbles. This because I can still vividly remember my little girl always trying to blow the biggest bubble ever. I can still see them shimmering in the summer sun, in my mind’s eye.

I would bring back Yardley Pot o’ Gloss, just as it was! I’m dating myself but there was nothing like it. Even before the pandemic, people became really germaphobic so it’s almost impossible to find gloss in pots, but nothing compares in my humble opinion. The Juicy Tubes type that you squeeze are somewhat similar but you can’t package the old-fashioned thick, super-glossy stuff in anything but a pot.
