What limited edition eyeshadow palette do you wish would be re-released?

Anastasia x Mario palette perhaps. I feel like it was really good (at least, at the time), but I know it was a really standout palette for a lot of people, too!

Tarte Aqualillies palette. It would be considered boring to a lot of people, but I thought it was the perfect summer palette and I got so many compliments when I wore it.

I have and still use that palette. It really is a terrific palette. Barefoot is the shadow I worry about finishing up because even on days when I don’t feel like wearing eyeshadow, a swipe of that across my mobile lids makes me look so much better.

UD Glinda and Sephora Ariel Storylook. I wanted both but I was saving for a house so I bought neither. Now I have my house and I wish I could buy these. They’re the ones that got away 😔

I would also vote for the ABH Mario palette. I’m so glad I got it (I was really on the fence about it for a while). I’d also vote for the first UD Vice palette because that’s one I didn’t get and I regret it enough that if it was rereleased (in UD’s original formula rather than this “new” one), I’d grab it for sure.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Mi Vida Loca Remix re-released now that the KVD brand has new management. Also, not a limited edition, but the original UD Electric palette.

Off course it has to be Urban Decay 😅, I complain too much that I want the Naked Smokey palette back.
But the limited edition one I would want re-released would be the Gwen Stefani one. Off course, with that old formula, not the sub-par hit and miss formula they have right now.
I wouldn’t mind also the lipstick shades from that collection coming back. Overall, it was a memorable limited edition collection for me, although some might find it boring, especially these days.

I still have my Gwen Stefani eye palette from that release! You’re right, it WAS boring, but the exact right boring. Perfect for me for traveling as it has basic browns *and* a rich ass black and a deep blue, etc… It was a damn fine palette. I also still have and use my Smokey. It was their best color story for me for sure. I’d like to see it re-imagined (maybe a couple of shades were duds) and with the quality that Honey has.

I wish Zoeva would reconfigure the way they used to be, as far as palettes go. there was a wide choice, and now, what? Two? Doubtful that I’ll pan it, but i would miss EnTaupe terribly. Also love Cafe, the small matte palette with the Hopperesque theme, and the Metals palette that isn’t very metallic. The Covid era has hit companies hard. many have had to contract and many went OOB. As Muse pointed out, the younger generations are going for skincare and a minimal # of singles. Joni Mitchell, in the famous anthem: ‘Don’t it always seem to go, that we don’t know what we got til it’s gone?’ Indeed, it does.

Tom Ford’s Cocoa Mirage. Really really wanted to try it, I heard such amazing things from that little quad. Too bad it has been discontinued long, long ago – and long before I could actually afford to splurge on such things.

I can make a dupe, but it’s not the same formula, yanno?

Sarah, keep an eye out on Beautylish. I missed that one too and by some miracle, Beautylish had it in stock about 7-8 months ago. I saw it come back a couple more times so you never know!

I had one from Lancôme years ago but I hit pan on all and it got tossed. Just some beautiful golds and greens ! No idea what the name was but if it came back I’d buy it again. I miss those unique shades.

I missed the ABH x Mario release but later got it on Mercari (you can still find it new on occasion but make sure it’s not the Bad Habit knock-off). The shadows are soft, satiny magic.
The only LE e/s palette I’d want is the Too Faced Boudoir Eyes in the OG chunky cardboard box packaging. They changed the formula with the metal packaging. It’s 10+ years old. It had a shadow called “lap dance” that I used daily for years; hated the name, loved the shadow.

My husband has been begging me to get rid of makeup that I don’t use, which, to be fair, is a rather large amount of makeup. An entire bedroom in or five bedroom house was remodeled and turned into my “dressing room” I.e., a massive closet w/ dressing racks, mirrors, makeup organization, vanity to do makeup at. In discovering this website and creating that space, I did make a conscious effort to get rid of makeup that I no longer use (and in many cases bought but never used). I have away a lot of stuff, but also have many Rubbermaid containers full of makeup that my husband wants me to either sell, give away, or throw away. Since we’re still in COVID times in MI, essentially, I’ve chosen to do nothing. When friends come over, I let them take what they want. I only mention to say I know I have a barely used Boudoir Eyes that I can likely list on Mercari for next to nothing if you want it. We’re in Iowa picking my brother up from his journey home from Iraq currently, but can do so upon his return. Though, I can’t recall if it was in the paper version or if by then they used the very slim metal packaging similar to the riviera release.

Hi Katrina,
That would be amazing. They switched to the metal version about 10 years ago for all of their 9pans. I’ve set an alert on my Mercari for Too Faced Boudoir Eyes – thank you!
I have a similar issue with the amount of makeup I have and a move in the next 6 months – have to figure out what to do with it all. Mercari is fantastic to sell makeup – they pay much faster than eBay (3 days from delivery) and policies for both buyer and seller are simplified. I’ll keep an eye out for your listing.
And congrats to your family on your brother’s safe return home!

The original Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. I used it until it hard panned. It was just beautiful–I even used it for contouring! I’m also sad that I missed out on the bareMinerals Ready palettes, but I’m pretty happy with my collection of singles, so it’s just as well.
