What kind of wear and longevity do you look for in a blush? What's most/least important?

It shouldn’t really start to fade until around eight hours, and then it should be a gradual, even fade for the remainder of the day. The most important aspect is that it doesn’t settle into pores/emphasize texture over time.

I like something with a bit of luminosity (which is why I like MAC’s Extra Dimension blushes and a few of the Mineralize ones) and I do like a blush to last throughout my day (8 to 12 hours) without the need to reapply (because I don’t carry blush or a blush brush with me).

I think everyone would agree that first of all, it has to apply very smoothly. If it goes on splotchy or is hard to blend just on the back of my hand, I won’t buy it. I don’t like alot of sparkle but I do appreciate a glow and I prefer a sheer, buildable blush. As for longevity, I find Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush lasts the longest on me, but most of my blushes last long enough for me to be satisfied. I use mostly Chanel and Dior blushes. But I’m always on the lookout for something new. Very slim pickin’s lately though in the blush department.

I like the blush to last 6 to 8 hours and fade gradually. Also the blush should not emphasize texture over time and should not change color or darken as it is worn.

I like blushes that are matte, no shimmer or sheen in it that can accentuate pores, and textures. Longevity around 7 to 8 hours will be great. Since I have oily face, I prefer powder type of blush.

I love a blush with longevity! I still wear masks to work and am very happy to see my blush remain through a workday and a dinner out after. Colourpop SS cheeks work great for this! I love both skinlike/matte finishes and shimmer.

What’s important for me in a blush is that it has a matte or semi matte finish in the kind of pinky coral shade without the yellowish undertones. I do like them to last longer than 3-4 hours, preferably 6-8 but many don’t do this. Having them easy to apply without being streaky or splotchy is a plus.
