I think MAC nailed my favourite blush formula with their Extra Dimension blushes. They have shine or glow but don’t look harsh or emphasize any texture issues. The ORIGINAL Dior Rosy Glow Awakening Blush was also the perfect formula (and “self-adjusting”, if one can believe THAT) and finish but….well….we have now seen what Dior did with THAT winning formula!

Sheer matte blush. I don’t like how pigmented most western brands are. K beauty brands have a white base a lot of the time and I don’t like that either. If I could just have a sheer blush without a white base, I’d be happy.

Christine, you are always spot on…….seems like the choice in blush is either very glittery and metallic or very matte. I don’t want my blush to look like a highlight, but not real flat either. A little glowy but not glittery would be wonderful, soft shine!! Blendability is very important too, being able to really blend out the edges so you look seemless. Pigmentation is important but soft enough so you don’t have trouble blending darker colors .

I love the NARS liquid orgasm.. I have used up 2 bottles and hate it is not widely available. I have tried the other shades and they don’t look good on me- to dark or to light they disappear.. I have luster which is a sheer peach- I have to layer it. I wish more brands would offer this formula. I have MAC & Pat McGrath powders.. which I love the shades that I have but would love it if they offered a liquid

Yes to more finishes, please. (Actually, can we get more interesting finishes in everything? I am so tired of flat matte/demi-matte lipsticks with nothing to make them special – no shimmer or pearl to give them some dimension.)

But I recently picked up a “Glow On Powder Highlighting Blush” from The Lip Bar in Pinch Me on sale at Target. It’s a bit more coral than the photos show, but is really very nice when applied – peachy with a slight pinkish pearl shimmer that looks pretty natural on my very pale skin. I’m definitely going to look into more of their products!

Not sure if you have tried Haus Labs they make a awesome gel to powder blush. It comes in so many colors you can use it as a contour also. Personally, I love it.
