Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).
We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Smashbox cream blush brush
Fingertips also! Although sometimes I do soften the edges with a damp beauty blender……I find this is the most natural looking….I don’t care for brushes with cream blushes as I get better, softer blending out with my fingers…plus easier to clean my hands than a brush!
Either my fingers or the e. l. f. Small Stipple Brush (DC, I think).
I use a brush from Smashbox specifically for cream cheek products
I don’t often wear cream blush but when I do, I like the Real Techniques flat topped foundation brush to sort of stipple a small amount of the colour and then blend it. This works really well with the Shisedo cream-to-powder blushes.
Almost ALWAYS, my fingertips! Just easier and no gunking up my brushes. Also of note, what you mentioned about the warmth of our own fingertips making the blush spread and blend much nicer, too.
Definitely fingers, to warm up the product and help blend… I use cream eyeshadow, blush and highlighter almost exclusively these days and more often than not a large face powder brush is the only other tool I use.
I don’t use a cream blush, but if I did I would probably use a specific blush brush to apply it.
A synthetic duofiber or stipple brush
Primarily fingers but sometimes my MAC 159.
Fingers or my ELF Small Stipple brush work fine.
Synthetic brush gives me an even application.
Fingers, same reason.
I warm it up and apply with my fingers and then blend with a real techniques setting brush. It’s really small and fluffy.
I usually apply and start blending it with a brush, then do any additional blending needed with my fingers.
