Samesies, Christine! Thanks to your review, I bought UD Vice Rebel and it’s my new everyday go-to.
Bare Minerals Major lip lacquer.
Spring just began, but so far it’s Chanel Rouge Coco in the shade Mademoiselle. The shade, the formula, the scent…I love, love, love this lipstick!!!!
That is my daily also. If I need something slightly browner, I wear with with the Chanel lip pencil in nude, shade 05.
Right now it’s MAC Liptensity Lipstick in Smoked Almond. My almost perfect nude. But I mix my lip color up so much that its hard to say what my most used one is for any season!
Bare minerals marvelous moxie smooth talker lip gloss! Came with a bare minerals purchase about a year ago? I think it’s discontinued for some time now 🙁
YSL Rose Stiletto! It’s gorgeous!
It changes weekly but I’ve been trying to use up MAC Craving so I can get another one!
I always go for my berries/plums/ oxblood reds/purples. The Pantone color of the year is Ultra Violet. I am surprised that all the brands aren’t pushing colors in the purple family. I know that purple eye shadows are hard to get right (although, yes, Kat Von D Danzig is amazing. It is also on sale Sephora right this minute!!!) But, brighter purples are always great; and, they look great on everyone I have ever seen wear them.
NARS lip gloss in Belize. It’s in my bag and it’s the easiest thing to apply with no mirror.
So far, the new Loreal colour riche shine in burnished blush. Gorgeous, fresh spring pink!
I love this new L’oreal line as well! I’ve been wearing Varnished Rosewood a lot lately.
Me too.
I love the formula! I’ve been wearing the shade Glossy Fawn, a peachy beige.
I’m not sure since we’re literally a few days into Spring. I’d have to answer this in a few weeks from now after I actually had time to wear more spring colors and see what I’ve been gravitating towards lol
UD’s Ex-Girlfriend is still my everyday shade, but I want to try out the new shade Outspoken soon! I’m so sad I waited too long to get Rebel ?
I feel you there, Helena. Same. I waited too long and missed out on Rebel. ? UD ought to make it part of their permanent line-up!
Me too! I keep hoping they will bring it back!
I could have written your post word for word! ? Hope somebody at Urban Decay sees this!
Urban Decay Ex-Girlfriend and Fuel 2.0 Vice lipsticks.
I’ve been using the crap out of Beauty Bakerie’s Bubblegum Crisis lip whip! Such a gorgeous shade of pink on my skin tone!
Plus, I love the name. Classic anime, lol!
I’m a broken record here, but tarte park ave princess. My heart is an endless cavern of despair and nothing has been the same since they discontinued it.
Actually, got out my mini and used 2 days. It really is a classic, so subtle, but almost universal. T ought not to have d/c’d it.
NARS Rikugien. I’m so close to being done with the little mini that Sephora gave out as a birthday gift a few years ago and I have to think it won’t be good for much longer, so I’m trying to use it up. It’s also a really nice subtle pink, fine for work in spring.
YSL Rouge Volupte Shine – 51, Rose Saharienne
I’ve been wearing an unusual (for me) lot of pinks the last few months.
NYX Slip Tease in I Woke Up Like This & Entice, and NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu. I’ve been using these interchangeably over the past few weeks, not because it’s Spring, or I even particularly love the shades, but mainly because they’re easy to pair with any look, quick to apply, and comfortable to wear.
Urban Decay Naked Vice Lipstick! The perfect creamy nude-pink for spring.
Spring started just a week ago so it’s too early for me to say! Usually I like sheer formulas and peachy shades.
UD Lovelight
What spring? Not doing/never do much color repetition, but wore PAP (thanks, Zoe!) and CP Mystic twice in the past 2-3 weeks.
Is it weird that I’ve noticed that you wear Rebel a lot?! All winter long too. Rebel is one of my current favorites along with my perennial UD favorite Backtalk. I’m kind of embarrassed to say that I’ve been wearing my daughter’s TF Angel Tears a lot recently as well ? It’s so pretty and spring-y!
I meant to add that whenever I’d wonder what pretty color you were wearing I’d look to see what it was and it almost always turned out to be Rebel.
No spring here 🙂 as there are still large patches of snow and it’s cold. My everyday lipstick is Dior Addict Lip Tattoo in 351 Natural Nude (a beautiful natural pink on me). I alternate it with MAC Mehr and MAC x Padma L in Sunset Rose.
Since we’re only one week in, (although here it *feels* like spring for the past month!), I’ve been using MAC Mittai Pink and Marque quite often! The funny part is, I’m not usually a pink lipstick person. Most give me a greenish cast to my face if they’re too blue-based. Mittai Pink does not!
So far this spring? NARS Tolede is my MLBB lippie
Spring has barely shown its head in Montana. We even had more snow last night but luckily the sun came out this morning and it melted quite quickly. We are suppose to have a full week of rain/snow next week. Anyway, I started using a few “spring lippies” a couple of weeks ago just to brighten things up. I am particularly loving the formula and spring shades of the new L’Oréal Colour Riche Shines in Lacquered Strawberry and Luminous Coral. They are just the right amount of glossiness, don’t slip around on my lips, don’t bleed into my lip lines and leave a slight stain behind. I have several shades and plan on getting several more.
I have a few of these and LOVE them! I’ve worn Varnished Rosewood the most, probably. But I’m loving the Gleaming Plum, too!
Well, it’s autumn/fall in the Southern Hemisphere so I’m going for tawny nudes and plummy mauves – I’ve used Colourpop Cami and Lumiere the most though!
Same here! I really like that lipstick.
It’s stormy sahara from maybelline.
ABH Matte Lipstick in Dead Roses, UD x Kristen Leanne Bun Bun, and Ciate Glitter Flip in Iconic.
Over summer it has been the Ginger shades in my collection – Clarins Jolie Rouge and EA both Ginger.
But I sill like my coppery shades – Milani’s Candied Toffee, MAC Moroccan Ash, Cinnamon shades and Clarins’s Red Terra – one of the few reds that doesn’t turn pink on my lips.
Not a clue. I live in Cleveland, Spring isn’t due for at least another month usually. *deadpan*
Ditto on Urban Decay Rebel. Love it so much.
I am in lovelovelove with Fenty Glow. ❤️
Estee Lauder’s Pink Parfait & L’Oreal Color Riche Mauved (which is a silvery pale pink and doesn’t look at all mauve)
Spring has not quite sprung here in dreary ol’ Portland (I HATE THIS TOWN I CAN’T WAIT TO MOVE AWAY UGH THREE YEARS IS TOO LONG TO BE HERE…) but aside from my usual shades, I find myself more likely than during other times of the year to reach for coral/peachy tones like MAC Crosswires or brighter pinks like NARS Impossible Red.
I’ve been glued to my YSL Rouge Pur Couture Mat in the shade Wood On Fire this month. It goes perfectly with the scarf that I’ve been wearing every single day (Dutch spring has been cold and rainy so far).
Clinique Pink Spice! It’s almost too cool-toned for me, but it works.
So far:
Tarte Tartiest Dry Matte Lip Pain in Exposed. Such a go-to. Second to that Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lip in Patina Shimmer
So far it’s been my Urban Decay Asphyxia.
Lipstick Queen Black Lace Rabbit, but I do not recommend this product at all! Pigment is nonexistent — even though it was advertised as quite sheer, this is ridiculous. However, its moisturizing properties are very good, so I use it several times a day. Don’t waste your money on this — it is basically a $25 lip balm.
I’ve been obsessed with KVD’s Ozzy. Perfect fun purple for spring!
I recently discovered that UD Ladyflower — applied densely then blotted well — is an extremely natural and pretty no-makeup lip, and I’ve gone with that a few times on the weekend, which is as close as I get to “most used” (other than lip balm) since I generally wear a different color every day.
Actually, I’m recently discovering that blotting can rescue a lip color that I’m “meh” about. Many of my cream and satin finish colors are just … nicer when blotted. Also glossy ones, obviously, but that’s because everything glossy is improved by removing the gloss (IMO). I also noticed that the cream lipsticks that have shimmer or duochrome are more clearly shimmery or duochrome-y when made more matte with blotting; I think the natural light-reflecting quality of gloss and cream finishes obscures the color shifts or shimmers.
MAC Lustre lipstick in Lustering – this gorgeous pop of sheer bright pink is a great way to welcome back spring weather.
Is been cold here just like San Francisco weather and gloomy. I removed my darkest lipsticks to the back of my beautiful collection and brought medium and lightest shades to the front. Been wearing Loreal’s lipglosses experimenting with all shades got all three mauve, pinks & nudes during Christmas clearance at Target what was Loreal thinking for the original price- no! But then collected them all at half price. I often wonder am I a collector or a hoarder? Lol! They will be handy to travel I guess or not just gave a nice assortment now.
