Blush in general. I love a really flushed look, but I find it a bit overpowering in the winter. However in the spring/summer I love busting out the blush because I find it makes me look really healthy and fresh. I also use a light dusting of blush all over the face (cheeks, hairline, and sometimes tip of nose) because I’m very fair and bronzing products can look really unnatural on me, but I find mixing them with a light blush gives me a much more natural appearance since when I am “sunkissed” I turn red/pink rather than tanning.
My current favourite blushes are tarte celebrated and becca wisteria & snapdragon.
Me too Marc Jacobs Flesh & Fantasy Air Blush ? I love it!
Nine days into spring and Clinique Blushing Blush in Cupid is my most used cheek color so far.
Hourglass Diffused Heat or Clinique Rosy Pop.
Becca mineral blush in Flowerchild.
NARS Free Soul and Hot Tin Roof (not together). I’ve also been falling back in love with my Laura Mercier baked matte highlighter.
For bronzer, MAC Give Me Sun! bronzer or Tom Ford Bronze Age. For blush, it’ll most likely be a MAC Extra Dimension or Tom Ford blush, not sure which and when though. I’ve barely made a dent in my TF blushes and want to incorporate them into more looks this year. Also MAC Oh My Passioin! Pearmatte – I just love that.
MAC Oh My, Passion is one of my all-time favorites, too, Pearl! Too bad I didn’t think to buy a b/up.
MAC Cheeky Bits, though I used it all winter, too. It’s so pretty and easy!
MAC powder blush in Full of Joy. I love that purple and lavender everything is in this year because those are ny favorite colors!
(Pink) Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Embrace — The soft dusty pink goes with everything and looks feminine and fresh. One of my favorite blushes of all time.
(Coral) MAC Immortal Flower — An ethereal orange with a lot of white base. A quintessential springtime color.
(Lavender) NARS Sex Fantasy — Pale lavender. Gives a surprisingly natural flush to the skin and brightens the complexion. So. Good.
Mac Extra Dimension blush in Hushed Tone.
LORAC Tinge!
I’ve been addicted to Sleek’s Rose Gold. When I use it I’m like why do I even have other blushes??
Surprise, surprise, Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff and Colourpop Lunch Money. I really need to experiment more!
Clinique’s Heather Pop Blush for neutral/cool looks and Zuzu’s Samba for when I’m wearing warmer colors. 🙂
Oh my goodness, that is one of my favorite go-to blushes! It’s so versatile and beautiful.
Becca Flowerchild is most used so far! Marc Jacobs Lines and Last Night definitely comes in second.
I LOVE Flowerchild! It’s one of my go-tos when I don’t know what to wear 🙂
I’m not sure since we’re only a week in Spring and it’s still barely above 30° F and I haven’t had a chance to pull out Spring clothes or shoes yet. But I plan on pulling out MAC Melba more since I’ve actually found a way to use it. The blush brush I normally use is too dense so Melba always looked so garish on me no matter how light I tried to apply and I never understood the hype but I tried it with my fluffy Real Techniques blush brush, which I normally thought was too fluffy, and I now love Melba! Oh and I want to wear NARS Madly more. This Winter I’ve been into MAC Cosmic Force and Cover Girl Tru Blend Blush in Medium Rose. Time to pull in more peach and nudey peach blushes!
Good question, I’ve been struggling with blush. My rotation mainly includes NARS Taos, MAC Prism, Laura Geller baked in Pink Grapefruit, Physician’s Formula Plum Rose, and sometimes with some blend of a couple of them. All ok; but, I continue to look for my HG.
Lipstick Queen Frog Prince (used with a VERY light hand).
interesting! i never thought to use my favorite mlbb for blush before, probably bc i usually prefer powder blushes. i may have to try this!
Man, I don’t know what’s up with me, but I’m not feeling very “springy” yet! As a result, the blushes I’ve been reaching for have been, in no particular ranking of “most used” because I have no idea which one:
1.) UD Rapture
2.) Essence Satin Love
3.) MAC Oh My, Passion!
F&F is so pretty! I like that for the summer mostly. Myself, I’ve been using NARS Impassioned a ton this spring!
A variety of Tarte corals, Tarte Exposed, LORAC Ultraviolet
Blush: Hourglass Incandescent Electra
Bronzer: Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronze
Is highlight a cheek color? If so, Highlight: Estee Lauder X VB Modern Mercury
It’s a toss up between Dior Rosy Glow and MAC Into the Pink.
As I mentioned in the lipstick post, we really haven’t seen much spring yet here in Montana. I have been buying and loving so many blushes lately that I find it difficult to pick favorites. I love my Ciate Summer Love, Tarte Paaarty, Becca Flowerchild and all of the Decorte/Jill Stuart/Dior blushes I have purchased from Japan this year. I rotate them frequently because I just can’t pick a favorite.
Nars Orgasm.
Laura Geller. I have several shades and use them all.
Catrice’s Defining blush in Rose Couture & Sunrose Ave (amazing quality blushes I found in a bargain bin for $2 at a drugstore in Frankfurt last year- who knew?)
Clarins Prodige Illuminating blush in Soft Peach.
hourglass ambient blush in mood exposure tho it’s really more of a year round staple
Benefit Rockateur
I’ve been enjoying Benefit Galifornia lately! It’s a lovely color, but the formula isn’t my favorite (compared to the other Benefit box blushes).
Is been so gloomy where I am three likes from m Venice Beach and is not June anymore. I see the growth on my garden but not feeling Spring yet. Is as a cold as in San Francisco! I switch all the time blushes been playing lately with Milani Color Harmony Pink Play so pretty and the Berry, also Coral & Bronzer. Been living the bronzers and Strobelight highliters too! Like I need another yet?! ??♀️ Being fair after my moisturizer, light foundation I been liking the Mineral Wear talc free (mineral airbrushing) from Physians Formula it gives a subtle glow and barely some tan. Another bronzer I find a great match is my Dulce de Leche/WetnWild these two I prefer over the Physians Formula Butter Bronzer is a bit orangy to me I have to apply very very light.
I haven’t even broken into my spring blushes yet, because it still feels like winter here still! Ugh!!
