I do this for my non neutral days as well but I have few more shade out of the Inteference Collections pigments that TKB Trading sells but I love how Naked formulates the pigments and also have that stack as well.

I love the white shade from the Ombres Perlees de Chanel for a high shine inner corner, or if I want something more subtle I would choose Urban Decay Virgin or the champagne shade for Dior Rosy Nude.

Brie Avatar

I second this (except not the Dior shade since I don’t have it!). Also, I love using the lighter shade in a random Ulta baked eyeshadow duo that I picked up (I think it’s called Natural Beauty).

Holly Avatar

I’ve recently fallen in love with MACs soft and gentle MSF for my inner highlight! It’s supper glowy and really wakes up my eyes. It stands out even more if you put bare study paint pot as a primer.

Tiffany Avatar

Half baked by Urban Decay….I loveeee golden highlight shades rather than white b/c it looks more natural on my NC30-35 skin tone!

Becca Avatar

hmm…… that’s a toughie. I usually just use virgin by UD, dazzlelight by MAC, or sometimes even highlighters meant for your face, like pixi energy blush in naturally sunny or NARS albatross
it just depends what undertones, intensity, shimeriness I am going for, and ultimately, what I grab first or am already using as a brow highlight!! haha

Jessi Avatar

I’m not too picky; I’ll use any light color. Lately I have been loving duochrome eyeshadows in the inner corner and to highlight with. I think they look more interesting than a regular shimmer.

Aleeya Avatar

Lately I been using urban decay midnight cowboy 24/7 liner and smudge it so it wont look like a harsh line. It has to be done fast and not to hard so you wont “muddy” it up with any color that maybe underneath. I love it!!

Mac creme royal (hello kitty lucky tom LE palette)
Mac shroom , dazzlelight or naked luch.
Clinique day break (super shimmer eyeshdaow)
Nars abyssinia

benefit’s miss popularity, and theres a very pretty off-white/cream shade from mac, im pretty sure its called forgery, or another very similar to it but thats all i can find right now that rings a bell on the site.. but it has massive chunky glitter, its awesome! i also love manila paper and reflects pearl..

amanda Avatar

FILAMENT not forgery, is what i was thinking of.. its chunky and sparkly and nice =] exactly what i think of when i think of filament in a light bulb

It’s a moon stone grey from an ancient Dior quint called Secret Charm. It took some time to figure out that a warm light grey is more flattering to my skin tone than the usual highlighting shades.

Kimberly Avatar

I like a former LE (Limited Edition) Pigment from MAC called “Helium.” A very pale shimmery pink. It’s so pretty and easy to use…matches any EyeMakeup I decide to go with. LOVE IT!!! The MAC pigments last FOREVER!! ;c)

Kaitlyn Avatar

My all-time favorite is MAC Vanilla Pigment. I have a lot of others I really like though. I’m currently pretty impressed with the two light colors from the Smashbox Iconic Eyes quad.

Nic Avatar

Totally depends on the look, but I use Vanilla pigment pretty often. Or Grand Entrance e/s when I want a champagne highlight.

heidi Avatar

Stila kitten! For sure but that’s also a great lid color so when I wear it on the lid I go with something lighter like UD virgin.

Amanda A Avatar

I like MAC Vanilla for a highlight. I’ve also used MAC Sky Blue or other bright pops of color to set off my eyes or opposite eye shadow colors.

At the risk of sounding like a beer advert… I don’t always highlight my inner corner, but when I do, I use whatever I used on my brow. I like the continuity of color. For an unusual touch, I also put a little pop of color in there; Sweet-N-Punchy (LE from MAC) or Lime Juice from NYX (same thing, different finish) gives a neat effect that gets compliments.

Kerry Avatar

I LOVE Nylon too!
I also really love Blanc Type. Though it’s not shimmery, it brightens my eye and I really love that when I’m not wearing much shadow. 🙂

Samantha Avatar

I doubt this is actually used for this purpose, but I love to use High Beam from Benefit! It’s such a beautiful color and goes so well w/ almost any eyeshadow combo I do.

I also love MAC Manila Paper!

This is gonna sound weird ’cause it’s not a highlighter, but…
I love Viva La Diva Magical Mystery. It’s a shimmery, sparkly lime green. I LOVE wearing it in the inner corner with a neutral eye topped with winged eyeliner and volume mascara. Reminds me so much of summer. <3
As far as to actual highlighter, I don't know 😛

Sally Avatar

I love Tequila from the Kat Von D Palette! I reach for it most out of all my highlighter shades!

Christine, are the video ads going to be permanent on Temptalia? I hate having to find them and mute them when I open a page 🙁

Brooke Avatar

I really like using MAC CCB in pearl. It’s so reflective and bright…really makes my brown eyes pop. Nylon is a really good one too! I’ll have to bust it out and show it some love (:

Marina Avatar

Recently, I’ve been obsessed with using my Gilded White Powerpoint Pencil from the Surf, Baby! Collection to highlight the inner corner. It’s amazing!

Crystal S. Avatar

Vex or Dalliance…Vex is my new favorite highlighter and base color. I lay down a coat of vex before I apply anything!

summerblue Avatar

CS white gel liner as it’s long-wearing & it applies sheerly, so it’s very subtle. Peek at You is also good for a subtle highlight. I love all highlight colors depending on what coordinates with shadows worn. Particularly fond of yellows & golden yellows like Crest the Wave, Dalliance, etc. Based on responses, gotta try Vanilla pigment.

Meiya Avatar

I’ve been using MAC Short Shorts a lot lately – love it! Today I’m using Urban Decay’s Virgin.

Also Ben Nye’s Iced Gold is really pretty too.

Yasmine Avatar

I like to use the antique gold shade from my NYX Nude on Nude palette; it looks a lot better/less harsh than white on my skintone.

I tend to reach for Make Up Forever’s sliver pencil liner and mushing it from the top inner edge, into the dark inner side of my hose/eye socket area and down to just the inner bottom corner. it seems to last the best and looks OK shimmer wise – not too much.

Liz Avatar

I’ve been using MAC Ricepaper for so long! It’s like a light shimmery gold. I like it cause I have cooler undertones and the gold isn’t too warm or yellow

Yasmin Avatar

Been loving the following highlighters for inner corner, really just depends on which one I grab first: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cottage Cheese, MAC Shroom, NARS Albatross 🙂

For some reason, I seem to be an ongoing collector of eyeshadow highlighters – but the ones that are coming to mind right now are Stila Moonlight, Fyrinnae Shinkirou, Lorac Liquid Lustre, and Benefit Eye Bright.

On my tan skin, the peachy pink shade from Smashbox’s eyeshadow trio in Headshot complements my inner corner quite nicely.

I’m waaaaay late to the party, but I’ll try anyway- I have tons of colours that I’m sure would be lovely to highlight the inner corner of my eye, but I don’t really know how to go about doing this. Can anybody recommend their favourite eyeshadow brush for accomplishing this?
