I wash with anything that’s made for sensitive skin (and that was on offer!) and now and then I use a Japanese exfoliating cloth. Then sometimes I’ll smother myself in coconut oil, I love coconut oil so much (just wrote a huge blog rave about it) – it makes my skin so soft without any itchiness.

It’s funny to think how much I do to my face and how simple my body routine is…

I have a thing about always smelling good (probably because I have a job where I sweat a lot). I use a scented soap and exfoliating body brush in the shower, then if I’m just going to work or school, I’ll spray a hydrating body spray all over. Right before I leave, I’ll spritz on some actual perfume or concentrated dry oil spray. If I’m going out or showing a lot of skin, I’ll also apply a body butter.
Current fave for all those products is Fortune Cookie Soap Cram Your Face in my Sweet Pumpkin Pie. Smells delicious and makes my skin so soft.

Especially as winter approaches, I love using scrubs. My faves are a Clarins one with bamboo powder in it and Soap and Glory’s Scrub of Your Life but I have 2 others that I also really like. In shower, it’s usually Soap and Glory’s Clean on Me or a Clarins body wash and then for lotion, I go wild – Sephora’s body butter or body lotion/butter by Soap and Glory or Clarins or Olay Quench or Avon Moisture Therapy (the last 2 are “cheap and cheerful” but still effective). I’ve got a scented Prada body wash and lotion that I also enjoy using – the products themselves are excellent and the scent – delicious!

My body washes vary – sometimes I use Olay, sometimes Dove, sometimes St. Ives. I rarely use moisturizer, only if my skin feels tight and need it. and then my lotion varies greatly, too! I’ve got Victoria Secret’s Pink, Palmer’s Cocoa Butter, Ahava, and BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar body butter all on the go! Although I think Palmer’s is the best out of the ones I’ve got. But I’ve committed to finishing off these products until I buy anything new- which may take a while!

I don’t really exfoliate, which I think I should start doing – anyone have any recommendations for good body exfoliators?

I love Mad City Sue’s Whipped Sugar Body Scrub. I have rather sensitive skin, but this is wonderful. It smells good (she has a huge range of scents available), feels great, and leaves me only needing to use moisturiser on my calves (as opposed to all over) when I use it… Its not nearly as oily as most scrubs and the texture is great!

Shower water, then a towel to dry off. That’s really it. Oh, and I’ll use whatever bar soap is there on my lower bits. THAT’s really it. And I guess antiperspirant if that’s counting in here, as I do have to use a prescription strength one a few times a week (Certain Dri).

Wash with a loofa using any good bodywash. Hydrate skin with either: KP duty, Amlactin or a 40% urea cream and seal with aquaphor. I have dry skin.

I have a friend who makes really awesome smelling natural bath soaps. I’m using her coconut lime soap now. I try to remember to moisturize because I have dry skin but I forget pretty frequently. I’ll throw a little Lush Ocean Salt Scrub on a loofah when the mood strikes me or when I’m especially dry. For a cheap moisturizer I love Tree Hut Shea Butter in Coconut Lime or Hawaiian Kakui. Their scrubs are good too.

I have Keratosis Pilaris on my upper arms, so I moisturise them at least once a day with my Mario Badescu Papaya body lotion. I love shower gels by The Body shop and Philosophy, and when I remember moisturise with Palmers Cocoa Butter.

Moisturizing body wash by Dove, Nivea or Olay and always, always lotion afterwards. Currently Aveeno creamy oil.

Mad City Sue Whipped Sugar Body Scrub, sometimes a Clarisonic, then Moogoo’s MSM Cream – this one in particular is amazing. It literally makes your skin feel silky ant not at all greasy, without any silicones. And its so soothing.

I use lush soap/QV shower cream, twice a week i use body shops shower lily. Lush dream cream lotion right after shower.
