Most recent purchase came from the CCO at my nearby outlet mall. I picked up Mac Copperplate, Mineralize Skinfinish in Otherearthly and Elie Goulding lipstick in Only You. I’m currently waiting for the Nutcracker Sweet Copper face compact in the mail:)
Dior’s new matte liquid lip & cheek color! I bought it in the plum color, can’t remember the name of the shade right now.
How is it Lulle? Does it work well on the cheeks because that is where I think I would use it more.
It works really well! The shade I have, 03, is super pigmented so I need only a tiny bit on my light complexion. The formula is very similar to YSL Baby Doll Kiss Kiss & Blush, if you’ve tried that.
Whisper of Gilt, from the MAC Nutcracker collection! I missed out on the original launch, but kept running into rave reviews and swatches online, so I HAD to get it this time!
What? How did I miss that release? This has ruined my day/night/week/month…. I can’t believe it. So bummed.
Oh it wasn’t your fault! MAC officially announced that the collection would release online Oct 20, but they (and all the retailers) launched 1 day early, on Oct 19!! MAC sometimes give its top customers ( Devoted & Obsessed level) early access, so I got up at 5 AM on Oct 19, and that’s how I found out it had launched early, and it was open to everyone, so Whisper of Gilt was gone in a flash. But you can call up your MAC store and see if they are doing any pre-sales, as it will be in store Oct 27. If it’s all gone, try getting Laura Geller Gilded Honey. I have both, and swatched them side-by-side, and they are very similar, got that as tip from another reader. Good luck!!

That I actually have in hand? Bite Gold Creme lipgloss! Wore a bit patted on top of a mixture of MAC Retro and Cosmo lipstick today for a gold infused rich terracotta lip.
And presaled the Copper Cheek Duo, Leap Of Delight lipstick and that blush that looks like Nars Orgasm (cannot remember the name!) @ MAC. But won’t have till the 27th.
Nancy, do you like that Bite Gold gloss? Is it really OTT or can it be toned down?
Katherine, I really love it! It’s quite hydrating for a glitter gloss, and yes, it can be worn toned down! In fact, I only intend on using mine as a topper over compatible lipstick shades like reds, terracota, warmer fuchsias and such. I just dab some on and spread it out with my fingertip as opposed to the applicator.
Oh thank you!! I was worried my lips were going to look like Christmas tinsel or C-3PO from Star Wars. I only plan to use as a topper. I will sign up for notification emails, and hope it comes back in stock.

Welp, today I got suckered into buying an eyeshadow palette from one of those random brand reps. Me Makeover Essentials. I swatched it and they actually were pretty nice, but we’ll see how they are on the eyes. As for more well known stuff, I got the KVD metal matte palette. My new bae of eye palettes. lol
I suppose that technically that would be the deluxe samples of Buxom gloss and Tarte mascara that came with my hair product order from Ulta. But the last thing I chose to purchase was Maybelline The Falsies Waterproof in black which is the only mascara that does not flake or run on me. I keep trying to use my Lancôme Grandiose and end up with raccoon eyes. The tarte is going into the dance bag for my daughter’s recitals.
I’ve gotten a TON of BH Cosmetics palettes and MAC lipsticks lol but the best one I’ve gotten was from Bite Cosmetics…the Gold Lipgloss ? I’m so excited but I have no idea where I’m going to wear it lol

Thought I would give a different brand a try: picked up a Rodial lipstick.
If you can believe it- Kylie Jenner’s new palette…I couldn’t believe I had to wait till the website opened, but I wanted it for a bday gift for a niece who apparently loves everything this girl puts out. I think the Colourpop factory makes this- so in a moment of sheer madness I ordered 2. I figured I could do my own comparison to the regular CP shadows and see what the frenzy is all about. Maybe it is a good product and I won’t have to give it away.
Otherwise- I did order the new foundation from Chanel and a couple new releases- but that’s it for this week!

Hylamide HA Blur primer. I got it a few days ago and I’m absolutely loving it so far!
I tried hard to resist and originally had absolutely no intention of buying it, but I bought UD Naked Ultimate Basics a couple days ago. I did use mostly Ulta points to pay for it, so I don’t feel too guilty, and I actually like it a lot!
The Tarte Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow palette and Tarte Pro Glow palette and Urban Spectrum are my newest additions.These just arrived.I also made my first Kylie Cosmetics purchase I got the Burgundy Kyshadow palette and Dirty Peach Matte liquid lipstick.They are on their way I saw a Utube video on her eyeshadow palette and the quality seemed like it was the there more so than with the Bronze Kyshadow palette.The shipping is ridiculous so if I am not blown away by these products I will not be ordering more.Most brands knock off the shipping if you spend a certain amount not Kylie Cosmetics?
Agree with you the shipping costs for Kylie Cosmetics is ridiculous, but every once in a while, they offer free shipping, so I grabbed a lipgloss/pencil set during one of those deals. If you sign up for their emails, you can get notified.

MAC blushes Buff and Cubic – I managed to find them at a CCO. Cubic was my very first blush ever bought from MAC and I had hit pan and only had a little bit left, so during a purge about a year ago I tossed it. It sounds silly but it’s always been in the back of my mind that I didn’t have it anymore. There were dupes out there I could have bought, but there’s something about having the original products when you very first started I guess. I was so excited when I found it, so inexplicably happy. ? I think in the end I bought a piece of nostalgia also. I have never had or tried Buff but the color is very pretty and I’m looking forward to experimenting ( experimenting, me?!? I know, shocker.) ?

Just today picked up Clinique Pink Honey Pop, and my first Anastasia lip product, Sunset Strip gloss. The gloss was plan B when Sephora didn’t have the Bite rose gold/fig duo I was looking for.
Today I picked up a CoverFx T tinted lip glaze in Cabernet Red. 75% off at Shoppers Drug Mart. I’m not a fan of most lip gloss but this one is nice.

Mostly skincare. I tried the elf cleansing gel (so far it’s okay but far from a favorite). Also, from http://www.deciem.com The Abnormal Beauty Company, I’m trying the following serums: Niacinamide 10%, 2% Retinoid, and Matrixyl 10%+HAs. I then purchased the Vitamin C Suspension 23%+ HA Sheres 2%. I haven’t used the Vitamin C because I’m working through my now opened bottle of Timeless but the others I have used and am loving them. Very, very reasonably priced and would recommend to anyone looking for serums, vitamin, etc. at a far more reasonable price but with same level of effectiveness.
Make up for ever -Artist Shadow vol. 4 (amazing). Before that was the Guerlain Meteorits pearls (a must have, so different of everything I have)
Kat Von D metal matte pallet, I missed her holiday one last year and am still sad about it so I was all over it this year, I love the array of color.

Tom Ford Last Dance, which is in an A IMHO, not because I like the the line, all shadows were beyond flawless. The Lorac Mega 2 palette, I kind of bought it for my brother, he’s a part time fashion photographer, and he’s a decent makeup artist even though he always hires professional artists. I like him to have decent make up and brushes in his bag, just in case….
Apart from basic skincare products, my new Real Techniques brush set and my bareMinerals Soft and Smoky eye palette that my son purchased for me for my birthday.

My Kylie lipkit in ‘Spice’ arrived today. Pretty impressed it arrived from US to UK in a week! Not sure how I feel about it. It’s hard to apply as you basically get one chance. More than one coat and it goes all weird and uneven.

I think it was the Lorac Mega Pro 3. What can I say, the holiday releases aren’t impressing me too much this year. Though I am slightly interested in the tarte pro palettes (both the eye and face palettes). I probably won’t end up getting them this year though. I also have a colourpop order waiting for me to hit place order in my cart, but I’m waiting for the Hello Kitty collection to be fully revealed! And their holiday stuff.
I purchased several of the Laura Geller Eye Rimz when they were on sale for $5 each.
Stila Star Light Star Bright palette,fell in love it it instantly. Actually went to check out the Too Faced Christmas collection, but the reviews are mixed, so got this one instead.
This week I purchased ABH Makeup by Mario pallet in store. I ordered MAC Nutcracker sweet copper face pallet (thanks Macy’s), MAC “strip me down” lipstick, Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy Pallette, and Spice lip kit (shipping is unnecessarily high).
I suppose it would be the Colour Pop order sitting in my mailbox (I just got the delivery notification). I purchased the eyeliner in Get Paid, the blush in Aphrodisiac, and a very blue eyeshadow in Canyon (?). A very random selection made due to the free shipping any order offer.
Items actually in hand include an eyeshadow quad, Complement, by Illamasqua. I have to say this rivals the Tom Ford quad I own in terms of the quality of formula. I adore it and will be purchasing more.

Victoria Beckham Est̩e Lauder Highlighter I love it so much I ordered two one for a backup and also two eye metal shadows one in Bitter Clove and Charred Emerald I love both. Cle de Peau Limited edition Holiday Eye Palette and Lip Palette one I love both.
I’ve been buying a lot of hair products lately; the only makeup products that I’ve purchased recently was the MUFE smoothing primer. I’m still testing it out, but I like it so far.
I added Chantecaille The Cheek Pride – it’s much too pretty to use! I think I will order the Elephant Fun Cheek Shade (A limited-edition Cheek Shade honoring the extraordinary work of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust)

I just got a Bite lipstick in Licorice, Too Faced Passport to Bronze, Urban Decay Vice Lipstick palette. We had a Sepnora opening at JC Penny in my little town. I have heard from friends that the Too Faced Passport to bronze had three bronzers that I could use to contour a little. I don’t do much contouring, and the bronzers are matte, so i may be more into doing the whole contouring thing. I had to have the Vice lipstick palette, and I love it. It’s called Junkie, and it does have the green Junkie lipstick. I haven’t used all the colors yet, but I love Disturbed, 714, Wrath, Firebird, and Speedball. It reminds me of those small credit card sized palettes with all my favorites, but it is so much larger. A nice palette that is beautifully curated. I had to try a Bite lipstick based on your reviews Christine. It is a beautiful red, leans toward oxblood, but richer. You can literally see that it has been hand cut and then taken to the flame to make it smooth. It is the Amuse Bouche formula, and it’s lovely. I apply it like my Mom and Grandma used to apply theirs. I use a primer, (the discontinued UD Lip primer, I bought a bunch of backups because it’s better than the Ozone pencil) and I apply a lip liner, urban Decay Mrs. Mia Wallace works well, apply the lipstick, blot with tissue, apply a bit of powder from a blotting paper, and apply it again. I got about 4 hours of wear, ate dinner, then just touched it up via the bullet, and I loved it. I got a deluxe sample of radish, but the color wasn’t great on me. I gave it to one of my young cousins, and she is trendy and it looks very good on her. She is very pale and Radish looked amazing one her, and now Licorice looks really good on me. I am going to play with my bronzers later, and try some contouring techniques. The little Flatbuki brush looks like it will be fine for me. The Milk Chocolate and Chocolate Soleil look perfect for what i want, and they smell divine.
I bought the Anastasia Mario Palette and I love it – the colors are great for fall.
Shiseido Sheer and Perfect Foundation, have really high hopes for it. It’s quite sheer (will try and see how it builds up later), but very comfortable on my dry skin and it looks very cared for after I take it off.
Laura gellers Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator (Limited Edition) (Nordstrom Exclusive)….but the Anastasia/Mario Collab palette is in the mail and a couple of Jeffree lippies
I recently placed an order from Urban Decay to get my daughter the Vice palette & threw in a little something for myself! I’m the worst Christmas shopper ever because, I confess, I do that a lot!! I got a UD 24/7 eye liner in smoke because my last 1 came in a kit & wasn’t full size to begin with. Black is too harsh on me so this color is just fab!
It’s been a few weeks now, but my latest makeup (re)buy was Benefit’s They’re Real mascara 🙂

Notoriously Morbid When the Wolfbane Blooms Pressed Quad and pressed singles in Why Am I in the Morgue, Spray Paint, and Are You A God, It’s Only a Dream Highlighter, loose eyeshadow in Freddy’s Coming for You, and Mystic Matte liquid lipstick in Never Sleep Again.

Tom Ford Last Dance, much better than I expected, just beautiful wears and blends like a dream, and the Lorac Pro 2 Mega Palette, I was in the US and saw it at Ulta, I’ve never used Lorac before, and everyone seems to like the line. I’m really impressed, the shades are simply beautiful, gorgeous quality, great value!

A friend offered me a belated birthday present at Sephora so I chose BECCA! I have never tried the brand before and I was very excited to pick up two shimmering skin perfectors, the liquid version in moonstone and the powder version in opal. I used them both today, with my Chanel perfect lumiere foundation and I -AM -IN -LOVE! I totally get the hype about them and now I need to try one of their blushers oh my oh my! ?
