We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Definitely one that is perfect for my skin tone…not muddy looking or too orange! It also has to be sheer and not too heavy where blending can look splotchy..it should float seemlessly between areas with no demarkation marks…..
For my skin tone: a good bronzer is simply not orange. A great bronzer is pale olive!
Good: has at least 3-5 levels of depth, isn’t prone to patchiness and applies well even if it is a bit powdery or stiff in pan.
Great: Has many levels of both depth and tones that cater to every undertone and skin depths. In this day and age, there’s simply NO valid excuse for not providing such. And so I would expect to find at least one shade that’s perfect for me, and something for each and every other person. Also, applies and blends out like a dream!
Definitely texture for me. On my very pale skin, few things look more obvious than patchy bronzer.
A good bronzer is easy to blend, but does not build well, so I can’t wear it all year around. A great bronzer lets me build up the color easily, so I’m able to use the same bronzer all year around. A great bronzer doesn’t have a too orange/warm undertone, also it has a satin feel/look
Seeing as Penny above has very similar skintones to me, I would have to go along with what she has suggested. As I don’t wear bronzer and have never owned one, I think what she has said would work for me roo.
A buildable blendable formula that is not grey/muddy nor orange. I like warmth with some luminosity and one that I can wear with foundation or without!
Pigmentation. I’m vampire pale and a good bronzer requires a light hand and careful blending, whereas a great bronzer is much more buildable and can be applied quickly without worrying that I’ve gone overboard. I love the Gucci bronzer but it’s pigmented and needs more babysitting than my Guerlain Terracotta Healthy Glow bronzer, which is quite subtle and impossible to overdo.
