We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Maison Margela By the Fireplace and Chanel Coco EDP
Calvin Klein Obsession and D&G The One both remind me of autumn. They are warm and cozy fragrances. 🙂
Mugler’s Alien – although I wear it all year, the heavy almost narcotic jasmine and warm amber reminds me of cozy cold weather.
I totally agree! This is my second bottle of By The Fireplace
Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka!
YSL’s Opium and EL’s Cinnabar.
Something warm and spicy with some depth…that I probably don’t own here in the Desert Southwest because it feels like we don’t have real seasons here! It’s either the “super hot”, “hot but cool at night” or “cool but cold at night”. The closest one I may have is YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche?
I 100% agree with Maison Margela By The Fireplace and the scent, Tainted Love by Tokyo Milk. While there are no tobacco notes or fireplace in this scent, both my daughter and I smell tobacco. We both love it and it has the added benefit of being a scent her father hates so whenever he is around, we both wear it! I know, it sounds mean but I would be lying if I didn’t own up to it. When she flew to spend a weekend with him and his new wife, that was the only scent she took with her. I didn’t even have to ask, I just knew.
Same. I love it; my daughter loves it and one of my best friends always comments on how nice it smells.
By the Fireplace, indeed. I just started wearing it for the 1st time ever apx 3wks ago & for the fall, it just makes scents. Haha
Ugh, sorry…
Fallen Leaves Anna Zworykina Perfumes
L’Occitane “Eau des Baux “
Commodity “Book”
Maison Margela “By the Fireplace”
My husband’s J.H.L. YSL’s original Opium and Guerlain’s Samsara. My chestnut black tea–gorgeous!
Angel’s Share by Killian smells like a spicy apple pie , Bois 1920 ‘s Sushi Imperiale has cinnamon, nutmeg ,orange, rose and vanilla I tend to mostly wear it during the Fall.
CHANEL Cuir de Russie
YSL Opium and TF Black Orchid
Estee Lauder Sensuous. I always have a bottle in my collection, though I use it year round.
It’s funny how so many people love By the Fireplace. I went to smell it in person with my mom and its smoky tobacco notes were so strong it made me smell like I was a smoker. I kept smelling it throughout the day to see if it would get better and every time I was just like “it literally smells like I smoke.”
