I have many I love and use, but one I can’t get rid of because I just love to open and admire the color stories is Laura Geller’s “Book of Travels” Baked Eyeshadow Library. there are 5 “books” of eyeshadow pallets in the box and Positano Majestic Sea is the most beautiful blue color story ever. I keep trying to match it somewhere with updated formulas (this is no longer in production), but until then, I keep this veryyyyy old set of palettes and open and admire the color stories!

Okay, I just opened the other color stories and this set is still freaking amazing in its color stories. My description doesn’t do these justice. They would all do well today. Laura Geller, bring these back – the color stories are beyond reproach!
– Positano: Majestic Sea: Cool blues and silvers
– Sorrento: Land of Color: Cool dusty purples with splashes of warmth
– Florence: Historic Dreams: Taupes and burgundies
– Milan: Chic and Artsy: Browns and Grays
– Venice: Romantic Lagoon – Greens and Teals

Everything about ABH’s Jackie Aina is just so good. The color story, the pigmentation, the blendability. I almost didn’t get it because I’m so pale & cool-toned I thought it wouldn’t work on me, but I caved and it’s still my all-time favorite palette.

MAC’s Formal Black Smoked Eye Palette from their 2006 Holiday Collection, It was exquisite. Incredible quality, packaging, curation of the colours. Everything. I still have mine and sometimes I even use it, and the quality of the shadows is miraculously still pretty darn good. For a more recent palette that still takes my breath away, I would have to say Pat McGrath’s Huetopian Dream. My first Mothership and still my favourite.

Very difficult to narrow this down to just one! So, I’m going to do categories:
1.) For my HG purple palette: Menagerie Cosmetics Flight Club 💜
2.) For a fun, colorful palette: PMG Labs III Subversive Mothership and UD Vice 3, both still take my breath away!
3.) For small palette, 5 pan or less: Chanel Empriente du Desert! But I also really love Dior Plum Tulle, also.
4.) Neutral palette: UD Naked 2 or ABH Modern Renaissance!

If I have to pick just one then it would be Chanel Tisse Rivoli with honorable mentions to Chanel LE Murano Quad and the LE Venicia palette that I cannot remember the name of and am too lazy to go looking for!! The Murano Quad was from the 2009 LE collection re: Venice but there was a four shade quad with mostly green hues that I have somewhere and which I must find because I haven’t used it in forever. My box with all my Chanel and Dior palettes is in a box in my conversion as I have been redoing my bedroom and bathroom. I am going to pick up a backup of Tisse Rivoli just because it is so good and such a workhorse palette for travel. It contains at least three one and done shades and then the darkest shade works well to add depth to any of the other shades.

It’s very, very hard to keep it to just one! I will follow Mariella’s suggestion of size (Why not? We are makeup twins anyway!)
Large palettes: PMG’s Decadence,
Mid Size: ND’s Glam and ABH’s Sultry
Honourable Mention goes to SG Temptalia’s On the Horizon
Smal Quints/Quads: Dior’s Bonne Etoile – just the best in terms of colours and pigmentation

Ace Beaute Tropical Vibes. I could stare at it all day! Just the perfect grungy, Fall palette. And I think the new ND Yucca palette has the same grungy Fall colors I love. Greens, mustard yellows and browns are my favorite shadows (matte)

Oh wow, I’m having a difficult time answering this one since I’m sort of out of the palette “Oooo!” stage. Oddly what make me go wow, I rarely use (I can’t explain why. But here goes, ND’s Lila palette (I just like looking at it.) Then PML’s Mothership I Subliminal (the packaging and the color scheme just say”elegance” and I use it).
