We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Christine, YES!!!! I’ve been using UD Mushroom for years, but it’s hard to find in stores. The other one that I love is Haus Labs Deep Bronze Shimmer, though it’s a warmer shade. If Haus Labs would make a shade like Mushroom, I’d buy a box of them!

Dark taupe absolutely! I have no trouble finding dark gray or browns, but dark taupe I can’t think of a single one…most taupe-y ones are too light. I’d love to find one that is a real dark cool toned taupe. Most have too much brown or gray in them. a TRUE taupe! Lisa Eldridge Renassiance Gold is my newest unusual liner…It’s a taupe-ish dark gold..I have nothing like it…..

I have finally come to terms with the fact that UD liners irritate my eyes too much, so I’m looking more for a colorful line that doesn’t make me cry all day. I love MUFE’s liners, but they don’t have many colors, especially sparkly ones. Sephora Collection liners are mostly good but overall not that interesting somehow. Maybe I’m also too picky? 😭

An antiques silver would be lovely. I am not looking for a bright, shiny silver but more the antiqued look. Something in the vein of the Ellis Faas Liquid Eyeshadow in Antique Silver but in a pencil form. I like the Renaissance Gold, sort of a green-gold, shade from Lisa Eldridge and I like that it goes on smoothly and is easily blended out but I would like it to really set down when it does and they don’t, at least on me. They continue to be a bit emollient and that means they transfer to my lower lids. I don’t wear brightly colored eyeliners anymore. I try to keep my lower lash line cleaner than I use to as my aging has made the lower lash line look muddy quite quickly. Anything I put there runs and just isn’t attractive so I only use on my upper waterline and lash line. I do occasionally use a skin colored liner on my lower waterline just to open the eye up a bit.
I would also say that I would like my liners to be a distinct color rather than looking say green with gold flecks and then apply and it looks like it could be any shade of brown or black. A lot of shades that look nice when swatched on the hand or arm, do not come across as that color once applied over whatever shadow you are wearing.

I’ve actually had pretty good luck with the shipping times from Kaleidos! Granted, I do live in Los Angeles, but I’ve gotten everything within 2 weeks. They begin the shipping process almost immediately, and it gets to the US In less than a week. The longest wait is the stretch through Customs, which can be about another week. Still, better than Glamlite 😂

I love burgundy -wine pencil eye liners because they make my brown eyes pop! My favorite was Black Plum by Bobbi Brown , I loved it so much and they discontinued it. Now I use Natasha Denona’s and Charlotte Tilbury’s but neither are my perfect one. Still looking.

Reading through the comments it’s clear that a good quality eyeliner in your favourite shade(s) is hard to find and it’s one avenue that brands can explore.
As a non-eyeliner wearer I would say the one that always appealed to me was MJ’s Peridot eyeliner from years ago – that was a beauty.

I tried answering this question yesterday and my iPad suddenly froze. Anyway, many years ago I got a GWP from Clinique in a shade called Wood Violet. It’s the most beautiful and unique shade of periwinkle blue/violet and in all these years I’ve yet to find a liner that comes close (I kept the tiny stub that’s left to try to get a match).
