Makeup-wise, Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, and RCMA No Color Powder. For evenings, I use Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder instead of RCMA.

When I think “complexion,” though, I think of the non-makeup products I use (Clinique Mild Facial Soap, Clinique Moisture Surge, Estée Lauder Daywear, CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion).

IT CC Cream and Bye Bye Under-eye concealer; Clarins concealer (the one in the small tube); Lise Watier and IT powder foundations; Diorskin Forever Perfect Founation; Hourglass Veil loose powder and Ethereal Ambient Light Powder; Becca Backlight Priming Filter primer (or whatever the name is of that product) – I generally wear it without even putting a foundation, etc. on top.

Hourglass Mineral Veil primer
Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal loose setting powder
Kat Von D Shade & Light contour palette
Becca Shinmering Skin Perfector pressed highlighter in Champagne Pop

Concealers— I used NARS Radiant Creamy most of the year, but Too Faced Born This Way concealer was released in the autumn and became my favorite.

I tend to switch up my foundation every day depending on how my skin is looking and how much coverage or longevity I need that day.

MUFE Water Blend. (HG, will repurchase.)
MUFE HD Concealer. (Fine, but not HG, will try something new.)
Laura Mercier Setting Powder (Fine, will probably last forever anyway so HG status is immaterial.)
Hourglass ALP in Diffused Light (same as above, will probably never hit pan.)

Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation, Benefit Porefessional primer (would not repurchase) & boi-ing concealer in the pot, Tarte blush in Dollface, bareminerals loose setting powder. 🙂

Lancome Teint Idole 24H Foundation N360 usually mixed with a drop of MAC Strobe Cream or Marc Jacobs Dew You Dew Drops, Lumene Bright Now BB Cream spf 20, many a sample of MAC Studio Sculpt NC37 (it looks best in winter) , Maybelline Fit Me Concealer Medium, RCMA No-Color Powder for setting concealer, Hourglass Dim Light Ambient Light Powder from late April through early November, and WnW Reserve Your Cabana from mid November through mid April, and finally UD All-Nighter or MAC Fix+ to set everything and take away any powderiness.

Base for base: Paula Resist SLDWR, FAB eye duty triple remedy. If it doesn’t play with those two, not using it. Foundations: KGD or add-in to Paula of CFX drops or the Ordinary serum. I’d like to use mufe waterbase, but the Benzyl Salicylate drops my temp to 93. Not the best choice. Concealer: build me an annex for concealers. Brightener: Becca (which IS in stock, just did not show up, how I intragoogled it, yay.) MCC (main current concealer): MUR. DS level product can outshine HE these days.

Huge change for me as wore only IT CC Cream for years.

Now I use one of these: Tarte Rainforest of the Sea, MUR stick, Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Natural Perfection Foundation, Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet Foundation or L’Oreal Magic Skin BB
Concealers: Tarte RotS, MUR, L’Oreal TruBlend crayon
Primers: Tarte Timeless Smooth, DHC, MAC Fix Plus, Mario Badescu Facial Sprays
Sunscreen: Biore Aqua UV Rich Watery Essence, Shiseido sunscreen/eye moisturizer
Daytime moisturizer: PTR Water Drench in warm weather, Derma E Firming DMAE in cold weather (find at Marshall’s)

Would love to know if anyone else uses Beauty Keeper, an app that allows you to check expiration dates

RMS face oil. Every single day. Good price. Smells clean. All oil. Don’t need a lot. Brightens my face. Everyone say my skin looks great, and I don’t look my age. Of course I stay off the liquor. No cigarettes, no cannabis, no coffee. All helps. Hydrate with water intake. Creme La Mer, I love thee….but it is so expensive and it smells and feels artificial.

I wear makeup, but I don’t slather makeup.

I have read your blog for years, Christine. Informative. Whether I buy or not, agree or not, comment it not, the information you provide and comments have been informative. I have saturated my makeup collection. I don’t need another of anything. You were noted the top 50 beauty bloggers for 2018. Keep up the good work.

2018 was a year of experimenting for me so I didn’t use any complexion product with any consistency except for L’Oreal Miracle Blur Eye, which I used daily under whatever concealer I was trying. The tube is almost gone and it isn’t CF so I have no idea what I will replace it with.

CK Avatar

Same here. Skin care products have been more consistent but I’ve been trying different foundations, concealers and powders this year. I haven’t really settled on any new favorites yet.

I won’t mention any skincare, just makeup.

Foundation: IT CC Cream, Suntegrity 5 in 1 Tinted Sunscreen, Bare Minerals Foundation (mineral powder), IT By Bye Redness Correcting Cream (I use it only on the red areas and follow with Suntegrity or Bare Minerals), Dr Jart+ BB Cream.

Concealer: FAB Coconut and CoverFX. They replaced Tarte Shape Tape (too drying) and Nars Radiant (drying as well)

Setting Powder: CoverFX Perfect Setting Powder, Hourglass Mineral Veil, Becca Hydra-Mist Powder, Clinique Stay-Matte Universal Blotting Powder – pressed (in summer only, on my T-zone)

All over glow: Hourglass Diffused Light, Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter, CoverFX Illuminating Setting Powder.

Daily Cera Ve moustetuser (in big jar) sí good! Cera Ve facial cleanser and spf. Been adding jojoba oil under for extra moisture this winter. In daytime I change foundations oftens but been liking Aveeno BB or Garnier BB creams. Aveeno has a bit too much glow sometimes for my taste so I Pat it down with small powder puff but like both so easy to use! Also wear Maybelline Fit Me foundation is very natural looking. L’Oréal Lumi 03 Cool i live for anytime and evenings. So, so good!
Bronzers Milani Glow very smooth!, WetnWild Tucket ti Brazil, Physians Formula butter bronzer wish it wouldn’t smell so strong. Love their shimmer strips bronzers also is great and serves various uses.
I have clear complexion (getting old 55 but so far so good and have abused sun plenty and don’t plan to quit Lol!) prefer the least gooey stuff i can apply so very minimal foundation and well blended on top of Cera Ve. Works great on me.

Pixi Beauty Hydrating Milky Mist, FAB Coconut Smoothie Priming Moisturizer, L’Oreal Glotion, Physicians Formula RefreshMint Cucumber & Bamboo Eye De-Puffer, FAB Tinted Moisturizer, Pixi H20 Skintint, Missha BB cream, IT Cosmetics CC cream (I rotate through each of these all the time and sometimes mix them together), BareMinerals Complete Coverage Serum Concealer, Becca Sunlit Bronzer in Capri Coast, Glosser Cloud Paint in Beam, Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter.

BareMinerals Gel Rescue forever and always. I’ve been using it since it came out and despite the fact the lightest color is still a hair too dark and pink I still use it. Physical spf with light coverage and silicone-free? Yeah, hard to find. (I like the combo of spf moisturizer and makeup topper)

Also Benefit’s creamy concealer (in the silver twist up tube) and new as of this year, Milk’s Blur foundation *sparingly*
