Well, my answer actually came true (somewhat) recently – Monica Bellucci (who does stuff with Dolce & Gabbana).
Thanks to Amy for today’s question! Do you have a question idea? Submit yours here.
Andy Biersack. His face has a lovely bone structure, and he looks fabulous in a bit of eyeliner. (;
Adele! The brand: Chanel. Adele is a bit different from what we normally see, but she’s still someone who is very popular. I think her makeup is always on point. I think the looks she wears are very easily done with Chanel products and it fits her whole vibe. I think it would be awesome.
I would like to see Carly Rae Jepsen as the face of M.A.C.
Canada represent!
Male – Daniel Craig….maybe he could be the face of a fragrance…..and model in underpants.
Female – Australian actress Isla Fisher or Rose Byrne – both breathtakingly beautiful women.
Katy Perry for Viva Glam 🙂
YES!!
YES!!
Siouxsie Sioux!!
Aside from Dita von Teese and the Pixiwoo girls? You. 😉
Beyonce. -Terese
Funny you ask, I was just thinking yesterday how beautiful Christina Hendricks would be as the face of any makeup brand.
I really don’t pay attention to who represents whom but I agree that Christina Hendricks would be great.
She’d be my choice, too. Her complexion is exquisite and her eyes lovely and expressive. And how I’d love to see see non-anorexic woman as a beauty icon!
Mindy Kaling. I just love her as a person.
Yes! I adore The Mindy Project and I’m always fixating on her nails and her makeup. She’s truly a girl’s girl. Plus, she’s got those lovely Indian features and coloring.
I have to say I would love to see Lana Parilla do something for a brand. <3 She is so pretty!
I’d like to see Lana Del Rey have her own collection for MAC or be the face of some fancy brand like YSL or Chanel or something.
Agreed! Miss Del Rey is a striking beauty.
Tilda Swinton. I would love to see her painted and slapped up.
This may just be me, but after two years of Nicki I would love to see some new faces grace a Viva Glam campaign… maybe Adele or Lana Del Rey? IDK, just a thought :D!
Singer Monica, I think she’s beautiful.
She always rocks a flawless face. I wonder what foundation she uses. I heard her on the radio, she swears by Cetiphil(sp?) cleanser.
Dita Von Teese + Illamasqua.
I love Christina Hendricks, so she was my first thought. But I also think that Sophie Turner & Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones are also gorgeous. And Emilia Clarke has amazing brows.
yes yes yes! christina hendricks!
Is answering no one, ok? I miss the days of the Super Models and when they graced the covers of magazines.
Besides , aren’t most of the beautiful actresses already spokes people for a product or have one themselves?
I would love to see AnnaLynne McCord’s face in campaign ads for high-end brands such as Dior and Chanel. She’s stunning! 🙂
I’d love to see Ke$ha with Urban Decay!
Diane Kruger and Natalie Portman!
Oh, and Zoe Saldana 😀
Adele-Chanel, Dior, Lauder (perhaps a foundation or lipstick launch)
Monica-Lancome (flawless skin)
Kerry Washington-Bobbi Brown (her artist does a clean natural face, sometimes a pop of lip color)
Emilia Fox. Because she is the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on and any excuse for more photos of her is a good thing. I’m thinking she’d be great for Burberry’s cosmetics line.
Penelope Cruz
I’ve had the biggest girl crush on Gwen Stefani forever and she’s almost exactly my age too so I feel like her look is more attainable than the usual gorgeous 20 year old.
Natalie Dormer or Morena Baccarin. They’re both sooo beautiful. *_*
Monica Bellucci was the face of Rouge Dior a few years back, I agree, she is good.
Aside from that though, I just want to say no-one. I want real models with personality to come back, like the supermodels. You can just see the personality they brought to campaigns and even now, the few that are still going are way ahead of their younger peers. They really made modelling a profession. I was too young during those times, but still like looking at the older campaigns.
Diane Kruger & Christina Hendricks – Givenchy
KRISTEN STEWART as a BURBERRY girl
I can only narrow my choices down to two people: Rihanna and Beyonce’. I love Rihanna’s edgier, bolder, and colorful looks, and I’m loving the collection she has co-created with MAC. I would also love to see Beyonce co-create a makeup collection that caters to people who love natural makeup because she does natural so well.
I would love to see older women, in general. Sure, these 20-somethings are beautiful, but there are many of us who can’t relate. I also want to see more “unconventional” faces, like Margaret Cho, Gabrielle Sidibe, Brooke Elliot, or even Abby Lee.
Think Helen Mirren would be great for eyeshadows for Chanel or Dior. Judy Dench cheek colors&
lipsticks Chanel, Dior, and Guerlain. These high-end brands are mostly purchased by mature women
and we’d appreciate seeing the products on mature models.
Jessica Pare; maybe for Lancome?
I would like to see Gina Carano the MMA Fighter I admire her so much & she’s pretty!! She appears in Fast & the furious 6 and Haywire. I think she would look great Gina Carano for TheBalm or Tarte ; )
Also Tyra Banks & Sandra Bullock for Tarte!
Also Tyra Banks & Sandra Bullock for Tarte!
Someone I’ve always greatly admired for her not so typical beauty and talent and she is in her fabulous fourties: Cate Blanchett
Lana del rey for any makeup brand really,i LOVE her makeup
Karen Gillian for Lancome or Jenna-Louise Coleman for Chanel.
Lana Del Rey, Katy Perry or Gwen Stefani for MAC Viva glam!
Emily Blunt or Anna Kendrick for a line of more neutral (yet cool :D) make-up products.
Zooey Deschanel for Benefit! I freaking love her!
Serena Williams and OPI—she has great nails to match her great serve 🙂
Marion Cotillard! She models for Dior, but I haven’t seen her in beauty ads. Or maybe a Chinese celebrity like Fan Bing Bing.
I’m a couple weeks late here, but I think Steve Buscemi would be an awesome spokesman for an indie brand of lipstick. I know it’s strange, but the scene in Billy Madison where he crosses Billy’s name off his “people to kill” list and then applies lipstick is just classic! That was the best scene in the whole movie!
