Colour pop all the way. Such amazing quality for so cheap. I want everything.
ColourPop’s highlighters and blushes. Urban Decay’s new blushes. Also I heard Kat von D was going to be adding some new liquid lipsticks.
Urban Decay and ColourPop
Bite Beauty, Cover FX, Makeup Forever, Clinique
ColourPop – heard they’re coming out with highlighters! And really want to try the Lippie Stix!
Too Faced – really getting into the Melted range, and over the moon that they released a Dark Chocolate Soleil Bronzer!
Clinique – Cheek Pop and a cool new charcoal mask put it high on my radar.
Kat Von D! I am terribly excited about the new additions to the Studded Kiss line, as well as her upcoming metallic and matte liquid lipsticks. If Sephora released a set of her liquid lipsticks, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Rouge Bunny Rouge!! Surprisingly good products….fun concept…..beautiful complex colors. With an added bonus of being cruelty free.
After reading this comment I’m going to check them out. I’ve been on the hunt for a new cruelty free brand to try! 🙂
Avene and La Roche-Posay.
Agree! I have the IT brushes and I love them
Same here, and also liking UD’s latest launch.
I really want the Mac Nordstrom palette and the Too Faced Chocolate palette. Aside from those I’d love to try Inglot or Makeup Geek.
Probably Femme Fatale Cosmetics!
Japanese brands: Lunasol, IPSA, Maquillage (Shiseido), RMK and Three
Of the brands that I have access to probably MUFE, UD and NARS.
IT Cosmetics, definitely. I bought their Celebration Foundation last fall and just started using it — love it (glad I got the super size!). Also intrigued by their CC cream. They have a new gel eyebrow pencil that I want to get my hands on, too — great shades!
I bought the eyebrow pencil in Universal Taupe and it is great!! I have ash blonde hair and light eyebrows and it is so hard to match. This is perfect and lasts all day long. I will absolutely buy it again. It is worth the $$$$$.
Thanks to its recent new products, it has to be UD as well as Sephora’s own house brand.
Indie brands!! I’ve recently discovered them and don’t look anywhere else anymore. My favourites for now are Pure Luxe Cosmetics, Fyrinnae, Poppy and Pumpkin and Scaredy Cat Cosmetics!
I really like My Pretty Zombie! Beautiful eyeshadows and blushes!
Is it okay to be excited about a brand I haven’t tried yet? 😮 I really want to try some of the Colourpop eyeshadows and blushes, but the brand doesn’t ship to Europe yet. Luckily my friend is going to the US next month and she said I can have the package sent to her. So yay 🙂
Clinique.
I can not wait for the Colour Pop highlighters to come out! I want every…single…color!!!
Hi Christine!!! I know there are tons of new blushes you are reviewing, but are you planning on reviewing the whole 20 colourpop blushes? Thank you! Looove your blog
Make Up For Ever,I still crazy about their eyeshadows and I just recognize that I have so many products from MUFE last week after tring to clean my vanity(primers, foundations, eyeshadows, lipsticks, blushes) and UD! the new products that you current reviews!
In the past 2 years I have cheated on MAC (still prefer them for lip products, ) and gone for It Cosmetics (great foundations & concealers and the best brushes ever!), Tarte (good matte eyeshadows and their brushes are great) and Too Faced (love everything chocolate). Tarte & Too Faced have been releasing palettes that just steal my heart.
Wow — It Cosmetics? Really? I’ve been so disappointed in the eye shadow palettes. And to add insult to injury given their price point — they’re made in China!
But the brand I’m most excited about their new releases is Marc Jacobs Beauty. I have a primal reaction when I see those eye palettes and have to have them. But I think I’m pretty much over everyone else.
Lorac, ColourPop and surprisingly Jordana!
Probably Urban Decay (the new range of blushes, and I’ve just gotten a sample of the liquid foundation that I’m loving!), Clinique (for both lip & cheek pops) and Nars (because of the all day luminous liquid foundation). I’m really on the hunt for my HG foundation! 🙂
Smashbox, Lorac, Pacifica. To my taste these companies have the best powder products
At the moment I’m pretty into MAC, NARS and UD. It’s been a while since I’ve gone crazy over a MAC collection but this year seems to be pretty good. The new NARS and UD collections have definitely gotten my attention too
ColourPop, MakeupGeek and Kat VonD (for the Monarch palette)
It’s definitely Kat Von D, Manic Panic, Anna Sui and I always love MAC.
Although everybody is talking about Colorpop so maybe I should be checking that out!
Armour Beauty, Etude House, Inglot, and Sugarpill’s new nail polishes!! Cant wait to see them swatched.
Urban Decay, they just released so many things that I want to try!
ColourPop, mostly! I love when an indie brand comes through with consistent quality. Colourpop’s wearable shades make it a pick for me over a lot of others.
I’m pretty excited about Urban decay’s new stuff. Always a fan of Makeup Forever’s Artist shadows and dying to try their cream blushes. ColouPop is phenemenol for the price point. I am pretty excited for Tom Fords Summer collection (although my wallet is not) and I think Clinique has made a pretty strong comeback recently. IT cosmetics too- not everything form any one brand works for me and I don’t expect that. Kat Von D too now that I see she is launching a bunch of new stuff!
Colourpop, Kat Von D, and Urban Decay.
Definitely Colour Pop…I heard through the grape vine that they’re working on highlighters!
I’m currently obsessed with Make Up For Ever and Hourglass!
tom ford! especially the soleil collection!
ColourPop — mostly thanks to you, Christine :); MustaeV; Urban Decay and Tom Ford summer!; Charlotte Ford matte lipsticks
Too Faced, Nars, Revlon HD.
Basics -First Aid Beauty, Dr Jart
Color – Burberry
Polish – Dior, Chanel. (Always! Lol)
Urban Decay, clearly *g*. I’m excited and impatient for the new stuff.
Clinique for the Colour Pop new shades and the new Pop lippies.
Too Faced. I want the new eyeshadow palette and I want to try the Melted Metal lippies.
MAC, for the recent Toledo collection, from which I bought far too much but I love it.
Those four are pretty much my go-to brands, really.
Sadly, neither ColorPop nor IT Cosmetics is available in the UK. I could get Kat von D via Sephora, as they do ship here, but there is a very high minimum order amount required in order to not get gouged on shipping costs, so I don’t do that very often.
Urban Decay, as we finally have it available here. Yay! Also Clinique, something I never thought I’d say.
Urban Decay, NARS, Surratt and CHANTECAILLE
I am still excited about Wet n Wild, e.l.f. and NYX. Even though they are all hit and miss, they all keep giving us good makeup for an affordable price. Maybelline, for the Matte+Poreless line, which I need to launch in Europe ASAP!
I am also slightly more excited about Urban Decay since getting the first Naked palette and being gifted (!) another, and I want to try their face products too! Also NARS, for their new powder foundation which I got off a HQHair sale, because nothing beats a good powder foundation 🙂
Not so much brands but individual products like Marsala lipsticks, after some Khaki eyeshadows – it is autumn here in Australia.
MUFE, MAC & NYX
Colour Pop…I’m intrigued about this brand and very anxious to try it
I’m still on a ColourPop high. Just received a package again today and I have yet to be disappointed by them yet.
Rouge Bunny Rouge. Recently I got three of their shadows (Delicate Hummingbird, Bohemian Waxwing, and Golden Rhea) and could not be more impressed.
Dior’s Nude Air Serum Foundation and Powder! I just need to find my perfect shade which it really seems they have, and so I’m super excited about, because they seem to go very fair. 3 was too dark for me but I’m still holding onto Hope because it just looks and feels so naturally Perfect. Yaaayyy!! Also, Algenist is awesome, it works and although priced “high-end,” is not “as” high-end priced as others that don’t even work as well. I also really love Tatcha but only ordering from THEIR site! It makes the experience SO MUCH BETTER!! I know that Sephora is slowly but surely adding their products but I really don’t mind not getting Sephora Reward Points when I know how awesomely Tatcha packages and treats me. I kinda really hope they NEVER allow past their 3 core products (blotting papers, cleansing oil, rice polisher/exfoliater) into Sephora.
Lipstick Queen immediately comes to mind. For a pale brunette who likes rich color but is always having to reject gorgeous shades as too vivid against my skin (and glasses don’t help), I have yet to try an LQ shade that isn’t gorgeous as well as feeling awesome on… and if I don’t wear at least some Burt’s Bees lip tint, my lips get parched in zero to sixty. UD also continues to be one of my go-to hypoallergenic brands (says the girl who is allergic to everything). Jin Soon nail polishes are becoming an addiction as well.
La Mer – I just ordered a small jar of Creme de la Mer after hearing so many raves. If it doesn’t live up to its hype, then good. It’s really expensive.
Besame Cosmetics – I’ve loving their lipsticks! Red Hot Red is my favorite.
Innisfree – I’ve read a lot of positive reviews on their products, particularly their green tea sleeping mask and mineral shimmering base. I’m placing an order very soon.
Missha – I’m eager to try their Time Revolution First Treatment Essence after I finish my bottle of SKII’s Facial Treatment Essence. I’ve read that Missha’s essence is an excellent dupe and is also much less expensive, so I hope it’s true!
…and I apparently need to check out ColourPop after reading these comments!
Oops! “I’m loving”
Sorry about that typo.
Lancôme -now that Lisa Eldridge is at the creative helm.
Reading the comments, what comes to my mind is the Gucci cosmetics hasn’t really made a splash. Never see it mentioned on blogs, despite a semi-recent launch of the brand.
As for me these caught my eye lately
UD – always love the product names!
Tom Ford Soleil collection
Essence and Catrice are always on my radar for the trend collection
Kat von D – not available in Europe, but would love to try it. Both the concept and the products seem exciting.
IT cismetics, Too Faced, Lancome, MAC
Hooray! Thanks for using my question Christine! I love SO many brands but right now I seem to buying and/or most interested in NARS, MAC, Maybelline, NYX, Rimmel, ColourPop, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Makeup Geek and Sinful Colors. As you can see I like things at every price point. Drugstore or High End it’s all good, LOL!
I am super-excited and curious about the new Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. I haven’t purchased it yet….not sure how it’s used exactly or what color I would use. If anyone has any input, used it, love it, hate it, let me know! It’s a lot of money for something that wouldn’t work for me.
Since I’m just getting back in to makeup …. I’m excited about Tarte, Too Faced, Clinique ( really liking their lipsticks/glosses ), Lanigere, and Fresh.
