What brands are most represented in your collection?

No doubt it’s a tie between ColourPop and MAC. I’ve actually been thinking about borderline emptying my drawers of just about everything since I very, VERY rarely revisit in person these days. It used to be MAC but they significantly reduced their launches, whereas ColourPop has been increased for awhile now!

Dior, Chanel and Lancome. I was using Lancome skin care exclusively for as long as I can remember but I suddenly developed a skin reaction to Renergie moisturizer which required two visits to my derm and a prescription for hydrocortizone ointment for about two weeks. I cautiously chose Dior Capture Totale because it has the same firming effect as Renergie and is working great. My other Lancome products…the face cleanser and serum…are still ok on my skin. Otherwise, I stick mostly to those three brands for color cosmetics. They are the best quality IMO.

Fellow Colourpop addict here, too. While I’m not a fan of their ‘basics’ (foundation, powder, mascara etc), their colour products – appropriately enough! – are really fun, good quality and have that “I want to collect them all” vibe. The Super Shock line in particular I’m just crazy for, as I prefer to wear just one shadow on my eyes, and the formula makes it look like you’ve gone to much more trouble than you actually have.
I’d love to see you swatch their Holiday 2022 vault, Feels Like Magic, and I did splurge on their LA themed set in spring.
I know some people find the SSS formula dries out, but they can always be revitalised with a good mixing medium (I use Duraline by Inglot Cosmetics.) It’s pretty much magic, and I’ve even brought back some of the Jelly Much eyeshadows I thought were past repair!

Wow, this is a hard one as I’m all over the place with brands….Chantecaille or Hourglass for foundation.
Pat McGrath for shadow, lipstick and gloss and some blush and mascara. I’ve just starting with some Rare Beauty and am surprised at how much I’ve been liking them. Tatcha for moisturizers.

MAC definitely predominates, with Urban Decay a distant second. I like more expensive foundations (Dior, Lancome) but don’t find myself attracted to a lot of their color cosmetics, where MAC has at least one product in most categories that interests me. I wish they wouldn’t discontinue so much of their core collection though!

By far, it’s ColourPop – and I routinely declutter items…but there’s always a new release! Natasha Denona and Viseart are a considerable amount of my stash, too.

My stash contains a wide range of brands –
Lipsticks – ColourPop’s Lux Lipstick range, Maybelline and Shiseido – with a couple of MAC’s
Eyeshadows: UD, PMG, Dior, bareMInerals, SG – singles and the Temptalia On the Horizons palette, plus individual palettes from ND, CT, Smashbox and ABH
Foundations: Mostly I use either Flower Beauty or L’Oreal

Chanel, Lise Watier, Clarins and Dior are the more dominant brands in my collection. I am not sure I could do a full face in any one brand though. I always seem to be missing one product when I try to do it.

The poor college student in me has an over representation of Elf and Wet N’ Wild products. For staples, I really cannot get enough of their lipsticks and eyeshadows. Although there’s also quite the presence of Rare Beauty here as well, by the Lip Soufflés and Soft Pinch Liquid Blushes by themselves.

First of all I would love to be the next in line for your “spring cleaning”! But I probably have mostly Colourpop but the are in a separate category for me because I consider them as a collectors item also. So after that it would be indie shadows. I am trying to learn about the different brands and I love the colors, textures and amazing effects that they bring. When I was younger I used to be a Lancôme fan and thankfully now have very nice skin. (And a few antique shadow palettes)!!

MAC for eyeshadow, pencils, contour and blush. Bobbi Brown for foundation, corrector and concealer (but not fond of reformulated sticks), Pat McGrath foundation, Urban Decay eyeliner pencils, Anastasia Beverly Hills for brow products. Also like a few Clinique blushes and lip pencils and love Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Gel in Birch.

Pat McGrath Labs for sure. I have some Charlotte Tilbury, Natasha Denona and ABH in equal measure, but PML wins on eyeshadows.
For overall outside of just eyeshadow, it’s Patrick Ta.
