What brand has the most consistent quality?

For as many products as ColourPop releases, they actually are pretty consistent in their quality. Even with the few misses, then they usually miss with a formula.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! The brand that has the most consistent quality has to be Natasha Denona. Her eyeshadows are never failing in quality. I have 6 or 7 of her palettes and I just can’t get over how beautiful they are. They also stay on my lids all day with minimal creasing and fall out. However, I do love Charalotte Tilbury for her face products. I haven’t tried her concealer, foundation. I have the Airbrush setting powder (that I use for foundation sometimes), Airbrush Setting Spray, Pinkgasm blush (recently got and fell in love), and the Filmstar Bronze and Glow.

Makeup wise the most consistent for me is Estee Lauder, especially the Double Wear line. Sure, they’re not the newest or most exciting products, but they all work great. I know I can blindly buy a product from that line and be happy with it; not all will become favorites like the original foundation, but I will gladly use them up.
I just wish they would make brow products in that line. Although some of the brown eye pencils would work for some people.

I dont feel there is any brand that is super consistent across the board as far as being high quality, I can agree with Colourpop on their eye products but all of their complexion products have been HUGE misses for me. While CT has been a huge hit with the complexion products and not so much with anything else. Honestly if I had to pick one brand that is across the board at least consistently decent and usable I guess I’d have to go with MAC. If I could only use one brand for the rest of my life I think it would be MAC even though the only products from them I personally use consistently is Face and Body, Painterly Paint Pot, Fix+ and Extended Play Gigablack Mascara. Sad that the most consistent I can honestly say is a brand that is only “decent and usable”.

I was thinking about this question and thinking if you had asked this 20 years ago (yikes, that long, sigh) I would have said Bare Minerals when it was Barescentuals. Man oh man that was a brand I had everything of and used up. To watch Leslie Blodget on QVC foil eyes and contour with Warmth or an eyeshadow. I still have a blush Golden Gate that I should dig out and Well Rested was a perfect concealer. Don’t get me talking about the original foundation: perfection. And with this I thank you Christina because it’s a brand I’m going to revisit. I love everything powder, love to blend and play with colors. Yep, I’m back !
