Prob a few at Nars f&f. Provocateur and the all red Audacious lip palette, at least. Maybe that will be earlier this year. The holiday discounts are getting earlier and earlier. Idk, but seeing xmas decor the day after Labor Day is pushing it.
I’ve managed to par down my list to NARS Fort de France and Burberry Gold 25 Eye Palette.
Nothing specific yet. But I’ll get something from the exclusive Guerlain store in Epcot when we go there in December. Probably perfume. Also on that trip, I have a Sephora gift card to use at the giant Sephora store at Disney Springs. It’s a month away, so I have time to decide how I’ll use it.

I can say after swatching in store and seeing up close, I no longer want the HUDA Mini Obsessions palettes or the RMS Luminizer. I think the Fenty is too similar to things I already have so I shouldn’t really. I’d also toss in there the Pat Mcgrath holiday palettes. Wasn’t impressed with the quality and the formula feels very thin. Just not luxe imo, which I get these are the palettes to appease us poor people so they skimped on quality to keep the price down but yeah not what I expected and I don’t need. Just waiting for Auntie Pat to release something that really gets me going. So far I feel like wah wah lol
Actually, nothing. The few things I wanted, I purchased in the VIB sales these past 2 weekends. I am, again, feeling distinctly overwhelmed with all the products I have in my stash. I’m sure things will appear on my radar in the next few months but for now, I have all I need and then some. A part of me would be glad if all the companies just declared a moratorium on releasing ANYTHING for 6 months or a year!
I just got them: The Pat McGrath highlighter trio, and the Fenty lipstick trio in Winter Nights. The carry case the Fenty lipsticks come in is a thing of beauty — like a slim cigarette case with a magnetic closure. I will definitely be using it for something when the lipsticks come out.
With today’s order of the two Pat McGrath Blitz Trance lipsticks I wanted, the only thing left is Mothership V.
I just bought it- Chantecaille Moonlit Perle Glow powder. The packaging is absolutely stunning and adore pearls. I just can’t wait to receive it !!

Not much! Some more Sonia G brushes, maybe some suqqu or chikuhodo brushes and Natasha Denona gold palette (possibly the cranberry palette but I have to check the reviews). For other types of beauty products, I just want to finish more of what I have first!
Things I’m still considering that are on my WL :
1.) Nars Provocateur eyeshadow palette
2.) PMG Metamorphosis palette
3.) Guerlain holiday Perles
4.) PMG Club Kiss Blitztrance and 1995 or Omi Mattetrance in special color packaging
5.) Nars Nancy and/or Siouxsie Audacious Lipstick.
As to whether I’m buying all of the above, doubtful.
Nancy-the PMG Metalmorphosis palette is SO worth it, especially using the Rouge 20% discount. I bought all 3 on her website and love them all, but this one is my favorite. You will adore it and it works so well with the big bronze palette (I get the names all mixed up).
Really, the only thing at the moment is the Pat McGrath Mothership V Palette, which my husband bought for me for Christmas. It arrived, and we checked it to make sure it wasn’t broken. Even my husband was, “Wow, that’s really pretty!” Then I put it back in its box and he put he away (*cries*).

I’d love the Mothership I (Subliminal) eye shadow palette. It’s definitely a want, not a need. I almost bought Subliminal Dark Star, but I think I’ll hold out a little longer because I really hope to buy the original.
I’m about like you on the same two Pat McGrath palettes. I think I’d prefer the Mothership Subliminal versus the new one, but both would be a a nice gift (as I don’t want to have to get them myself).
Just looked at Chantecaille on Nordstrom due to the comments here. I wish I could buy several new things from this line as I’ve always been partial to it and haven’t partaken in quite some time. Sigh! Too many temptations! Just too darn many —
Anyone tried the new Givenchy L’Interdit eau de parfum?
I must bought myself Huda Emerald and Amythist and the Nars miniset with Laguna and Fort de France… I still want the cheekpalette of the Mac Christmas Collection, an adventcalender of a German Drugstore skin/hair care brand, the limited showergels from the Body Shop and that is it for beauty.
I don’t have anything specific on my wishlist at the moment and we don’t have a holiday season here like you are having in the States, so no real specials.
Do you have a recommendation for a Satin Eye Shadow Palette?
I would love to see an all Satin Palette or Satin and Matte (for crease) color for us older gals. Mattes sit heavy in the fine lines and the shimmers that go toward frosts look awful. All most every palette this year was matte/shimmer. I would love your thoughts on this – faithful reader with 30+ Eye Palettes, age 50 🙂
After purchasing the set of PMG Blitztrance lipsticks I think my wish list has been fulfilled. We are going away for Christmas so I don’t need to spend any more money on anything else anyways. (Smiling with my beautiful glitzy lips).
Huda New Nude palette, Natasha Denona’s Cranberry (and I so want the Gold even though I have dupes for most of the colors), and a surprise (I’m still hoping for my special palette and haven’t seen it yet).
Makeup related…just an eyelash curler I guess lol. I was tempted to get a new eye palette, but I want to focus on some of the eyeshadows I already have.
Also wouldn’t mind getting some skincare stuff, namely moisturizer and exfoliator
All controversies aside, I’m really lusting after that Jeffree Star Alien palette.
Oh yes…I forgot that. I think because I just assume I’ll be buying it.

Everything recommended by Christine i see here! Lol! Santa is going to break his back. I’m drooling for the Nars blushes, Hourglass blushes. Etc., etc. But I seriously don’t need a thing except maybe a great moisturizer which I doubt need also. But hell it is just fun to try new beautiful & especially for the holidays…sparkly ones!
