I ended up buying them all this past week. I’ve been collecting from Tom Ford systematically over the past 6 months but decided to get it now because, well, TOM FORD and they sell out quickly (Disco Dust is on backorder from Norstrom and Nieman Marcus as it is and it’s not even LE!).
Every time I think I’m done, that I’m current, something else catches my eye. I’m hoping now I can take a breath and coast until late fall when the holiday releases start to roll out (I think my main splurges are holiday and Spring/Summer collections). The only other thing that I’ve heard that I think may be interesting are some new MAC eye cream colors (and new formula?) and a collection they have coming out called “Vibe Tribe”.
MAC Ionized lipstick and Otherwordly highlight from the MAC Future Collection and one of the new PUR strobe palettes. Then I should be good for a while lol
Where to begin!
1.) Tom Ford Honeymoon eye shadow quad
2.) It Luminous CC cream ( I think that’s what it’s called, anyway?)
3.) Either Becca Blushed Copper or MAC Love Joy. Definitely want a glowy, coppery cheek shade to rock like mad this summer!
Problem is, I still also have Viseart Paris Nudes Palette, Tom Ford Lips & Boys in Hiro and / or Derek, some MUFE trios, a full size tube of Benefit Roller Lash, etc.!
Edit: I meant that I still have all those others on my wish list as well! I’m such a ditz lately, that I cannot even string together a cohesive sentence! Geesh! ?
Have you tried the iT CC cream (Your skin but better) formula, Nancy? That and their skinny eyebrow pencils are my two fav IT cosmetics items. Caveat: have not tried the luminous CC cream.

Not on my face yet, Wendy. Although when I saw and best of all FELT it on my arm, oh my! Both formulas feel so nice and give absolutely great coverage. The only catch is the limited shades. Medium is a tad too light, Tan is a tad too dark. If they would make a Med.-Tan, PERFECTION.

Nancy: Would buying both work and mixing? I have the version in shade Light which is a bit too dark and slightly too beige olive for me.. So I just figured I would take this Maestro Glow foundation shade 4 which I totally hate on it’s own because it feels weird on my skin) and I blended in a few drops of it into the IT cosmetics CC and it’s freaking Wunderbar!!! Or..thinkingoutloud… what about a few drops of Cover FX custom cover drops to tweak. I think this is a product worth adjusting … especially for summer..so quick 😀
Christine: Just thought I would lob this ball at you too. I know you found Maestro glow 4 turned too light on you. Try mixing a couple of drops with other foundations. It actually works better as a product for me in this manner.
I just switched to the luminous CC “your skin but better”. I LOVE it. I am older and finally had to switch from powders to liquid so I didn’t look older. Was not happy about it but that stuff is amazing! If you got it at Ulta, next time you refill, QVC sells them with their corresponding brush for the same cost. That goes for most of their products. I like those brushes but $40ish vs. free? Next refill will come from QVC.
Nancy, I have both the Illumination formula of IT’s CC cream (bought when I was out of the original and the Illumination one was in a great value deal) and the original. I much prefer the original, which you can always mix with a liquid illuminator for times when you want a bit more “glow” (I mix in a bit of the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector liquid/creamy stuff).

Thanks Wendy, Mariella and Donya! I will probably get whichever one comes close to my summertime NC40-ish skin. And then probably doctor it up with Cover FX, or a GA illuminater drops if they put out #14 again this year. But something either way. It’s not for falling out of love with my Lumene BB Cream, it’s great, but easily can sweat off. From all I’ve heard, It is better at withstanding heat and humidity, and sweating.

3) Too Faced “Unicorn Tears” lipstick (which I just saw is back in stock, funny I didn’t get a restock email even though I’d signed up for one)
I highly recommend both 2 and 3. I just got Rapture last week and it’s already tied with Too Faced Baby Love as the best blush I own!
Yeah I think Rapture is going to be my next purchase 🙂 If I buy that and an eye shadow I’ll hit the next Beauty Junkies level!

Try Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick to repair dry lips. I buy it from Walmart for $2 and it lasts a long time. We live in a VERY dry climate and this works the best for us.

Well, I can’t really think of any “must haves” at the moment. I took the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette off my list. I’m over it and it’s ridiculous marketing, especially since most of the bloggers/vloggers I trust are saying it’s just kind of an “ok” palette. I got the few things I was really wanting last week on the sales.
1) Urban Decay is going to be putting out an Alice Through the Looking Glass book of shadows soon. I missed out on the Alice in Wonderland one, so I’d love to get my hands on the new one. (No release date yet, as far as I know. UD teased it on their Instagram several days ago.)
2) I would like to get the MAC x Brooke Candy Till Death Do Us Part Vamplify Lipgloss, and perhaps the Witching Hour and/or Doo-Wop lipstick(s).
3) I do have a serious lemming for the Viseart Ribbons Boheme palette now. Maybe?

I’ve had the same thing happen to me a few times. No sweat. I still need to try Besame. I’m always attracted to their little matchsticks, because lipstick samples often came that way when I was a little girl, and my mother would give me some to play with. I thought they were the neatest things ever.
Gosh, I really hate how these brands play their little games with their over-hyped, LE palettes!!! And Rachel, we know that UD is FAMOUS for pulling this nonsense, but now Too Faced, as well?!? These brands are getting too full of themselves!!! ??
Even with Urban Spectrum, I had no problem getting the palette when it first released, although I know things went to hell later. 😉 I got the Too Faced PB & J palette easily on it’s first restock. Sweet Peach release resulted in their site crashing, and I couldn’t order. Then the “limited” quantities that would stock and restock in various places and be gone in the blink of an eye. It just was getting too frustrating and seemed really stupid and unnecessary to me.
It is truly stupid on the part of these brands, because it does wind up causing the development of a lack of customer confidence…. possibly resulting in eventual loss of customers and their $$$’s. It’s just sooo aggravating!!!
You’d think…but so many launches seem to be heading in this direction lately. They must be seeing some kind of short term advantage (???).
Oooh…I almost forgot about the new UD Alice palette! Nope, I’m not going to be able to resist that one…
Despite the ridiculous marketing and so-so reviews, I love the Sweet Peach palette. I was about thisclose to not getting it based on reviews here and elsewhere, but I am nearly incapable of passing up the larger Too Faced palettes once I see them in person (darn you, Ulta!). Maybe I got lucky, maybe Too Faced’s eyeshadow formula agrees with me, but I don’t regret the purchase!
I’m glad you’re loving the palette. I get along with Too Faced’s Formula and own a ton of their shadows. The iffy ones usually work over primer. I’ve just never had such a hard time, or seen such ridiculous stocking and restocking, of a makeup product as I’ve have experienced with Sweet Peach. The game-playing sucked all the joy out of it for me. I’m enjoying my Peanut Butter and Jelly palette immensely, at least.
Rachel, the UD Alice palette is releasing on May 2nd. Glad you reminded me, that’s on my wish list too!

Btw, I meant to ask you, can you recommend shades for me to try in the Jeffree Star line? I ordered Unicorn Blood and Scorpio already. I can’t pull off greens, blacks, or certain blues though. Thoughts?

Scopio! Nice. That’s high on my “to get” list when it restocks. I love Unicorn Blood, but it’s a little runnier than my other shades. A little goes a long way with that one, but it looks so good on.
I only own about 10 Jeffree Star shades so far. I don’t have any of the nudes or more “wearble” pinks (yet). All the ones I have are really good, so I think you can order anything and not go wrong. About half or more of what I own are blue/purple/green because they’re colors most brands don’t do well, so I’m not sure how helpful I’ll be to you.
*Redrum is a perfect classic Hollywood matte red.
* Prom Night (I’m wearing it in my current profile pic) is a fantastic super-bright fuchsia. LOVE.
*Anna Nicole (bright reddish-orange) is super-bright and fun. It doesn’t make my teeth look yellow, so I like that.
*Blow Pony (lavender) is really nice, and again, opaque and non-streaky.
*I’m Royalty (royal blue-based purple) if one of the best purples I have, if not the best. It’s very opaque and even. It’s not super blue, but definitely blue-toned, so I don’t know whether it will work for you.
*Dirty Money (light grayed green) is quirky, but functions like a neutral for me. I know you said no greens, but the cool gray tone might work for you. It’s like Scorpio’s green sister.

That Viseart Cashmere 6-pan; UD Vice Reloaded XX (or whatever it’s called – you know the one I mean – it’s the one you can’t get here) and Sephora Tient Infusion Etheral Natural Finish foundation (this latter is readily available but I want to finish up at least one foundation before getting it).
1 and foremost – BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone. I want it soooo bad, it’s, well… really, really bad 🙂 However, here, instead of US $38 the US people pay for it, in Russia the brand wants ~US $60!!!! I mean, wtf? The temptation to shell out the money is real (and I am not rich by any means!), but on the other hand, would not that mean feeding their greed, no matter whether it is our retailers or the brand itself? 🙁

Yes, I’ve been eyeing this blush for soo long, but it’d be the 8th ( in my collection and I know I will never finish them all (well, obviously, if I don’t by any for another 5-9 years I would, of course) and I don’t want to see any of them go stale or go “bad”. That’s been stopping me, but I think I will cave in and get it, just to know that I own it. Oh, a makeup junkie’s problems :))))
There’s a website called shipito that I have seen beautyguru’s use. I live in the US so I haven’t used it myself but basically you use a U.S. address that they give you to purchase from sites like Sephora and then shipito sends it to you. Maybe that would be a less expensive option and you can finally try Becca?

Have you thought of finding a US or EU company that would ship to you? I don’t know what shipping charges you have,but it still might cost less. I would also check Canadian sites.

It's true that the Viseart's matte eyeshadow are incredible but the shimmery one is average or just good ?
I only have dark mattes and bridal satins. The quality is just as good with bridal satins but I don’t reach for it as much as the dark mattes. My skin is medium toned and dark mattes take less thought to use because it works better for the eye looks I usually do.

Oops, I have to “amend” my previous comment about viseart bridal satins: my favorite smoky eye ever is to use fawn and copper together. It is my current go-to for five minute make up!

Yen.Lin, I am a couple weeks into using It Cosmetics “eye lift in a tube” which is a double-ended applicator of two of their products (one a color corrector for under eye, and the other side is the brightener. When set they are pretty great. I am fairly sure I will get the full sized tube of each. This was about $22 so it gave me a low cost way to try it out. I have horrid dark circles and fairest of fair skin.
I’ve been meaning to try out It Cosmetics but can’t find a retailer in Canada. By chance, do you know which Canadian retailer stocks it?
I typically buy what I want when i want it; or at least buy it as soon as I get a deal, promo, or double cash back. So, like you, I’m pretty caught up except for collection items that have not yet released. I do have some discounts sitting and waiting though. I have a $15 Ulta gift card and the 10% discount from Sephora for requalifying for Rouge this year. If I don’t buy the Pat McGrath Skin Fetish 003 when it releases on her site on 4/26, I’ll probably use the 10% when it hits Sephora in May. (So that is one wish list item.) The next 2 items for my wish list are the Doo-Wop from MAC x Brooke Candy (4/28) and a tie between a cat-themed lipstick from the Paul & Joe Summer Sail Away Collection (5/1) and the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Scorpio (whenever it’s back in stock).
I’m on a strict no-buy for the month of April, so my list is growing ever longer… My top three wish lish items would be: any one color from the new NARS lip covers, Chanel Malice (which has been on my list foreverrrr), and CP Wattles.

But, I started cleaning and organizing both my makeup stash and my closet ( at the same time! It’s a disaster area!) and realized I need to go on a low but of makeup and increase my wardrobe peices. UGH!
Benefit Gimme Brow in Blonde, Mac Russian Red, and my second order of Makeup Geek shadows! (I’ve been putting off the last on that list for ages, lol! Guess the time just hasn’t been right yet)
1. Pat McGrath Skin Fetish 003 in Nude.
2. DiorAddict Milky Tint (I have Milky Plum and love it, but want perhaps 1-2 more).
3. Oribe Bright Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner. I recently went platinum blonde and I’m having to re-learn everything I thought I knew about hair care. These are supposedly the holy grail products of platinum and their pricetag reflects that :(. I’m hoping for a sale.
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow, Charlotte Tilbury Get The Look (I don’t even know which one, but I still want it!) and more brushes in general.
I mean honestly, for as long as I’ve wanted the Charlotte Tilbury products I probably should have just bought them-I know I’ve spent that amount and well beyond on other things. I just keep feeling like, is there really anything to the bronzer/highlight and in the look kit that I can’t dupe with what I already have? So I guilt myself out of it every time, but I still want them. Go figure.
1. Naked Skin One and Done perfector. Can’t wait till my local UD store gets it, I’ve been itching to try it out.
2. A custom peachy-pink-marsala palette. I’ll be heading to the UK for about 5 months in September and would prefer not to lug about my Venus, Monarch and Bon Voyage palettes due to space constraints, and how much I treasure them.
3. Bite ‘Pepper’. I have too much lipstick but everyone raves about how good Bite’s formula is…
I really want the Otherearthly highlighter and the Ionized lipstick from the Future MAC collection when it comes out here. Other than that I have a few more things on my wishlist, but nothing that can’t wait haha.

1. Jeffree Star Masochist: I swear it feels like I’ve been waiting months for this restock lol. I have yet to try this raved about liquid lipstick line and masochist is the only wearable colour that is calling to me and i currently do not have a dupe for.
2. MAC Coppertone : I am currently on the hunt for some natural blushes and this seems to be a good start. And I’ve yet to try Mac Blushes
3. Some of the new MUG eyeshadows : Just looked at some of the swatches Marlena did and some of them are calling to me ( Fashion Addict and Tuscan Sun ?)

My wishlist is just tooooooo long. And many of the products are not on the German market yet and I do not know if they will Ever be.
But to answer the question I picked out 3 things of my wishlist which Are new on the List
Mac otherearthly (one for my collection and maybe another one to use, I have Never Used a skinfinish before)
The bright Pink lipstick from mac brooke Candy (du-woop?, if the formula feels good I will buy at least 4 of this colour)
And someone already mentioned it here: the lancome colour correcting cushion, but I would like to try it in the lavender/lilac colour, I already Wrote it in another post and maybe someone Wants to try it: I am very pale and nearly all foundations Are too dark Even in the lightest shade and they Are too yellow, if you have the Same Problem try to mix a lavender/lilac colour corrector into the foundation, works for me with Most foundations
I am using the lavender primer from givenchy but want to try if the lancome works (it is always good to have an alternative if one gets discontinued)
1. MUFE Florals palette – been wanting this for ages!
2. MAC Otherworldly cheek palette – love the combination of colours and shimmer
3. Paul & Joe cat lipstick – so cute

I really want the purple color lipstick from the UDxthough the looking glass collection, colourpop blushes (mostly prenup), and the Korres pomegranate mattifying primer! also on my wishlist is the tarte skin squad set in the shade light but it’s out of stock now. also the elf cream blush palette in the shade soft and the new elf eyeshadow primer. that’s it as far as makeup goes!

I have new found love of lipsticks so the first one is either NARS Anna or UD Naked. Number two is the new L’Occitane fragrance which I tried last week and is gorgeous and thirdly is a new pot of Lush Cup o Coffee which I’ve said I won’t buy until I’ve used up all the other scrubs in my stash – currently have two small tubes to use.

My top 3 things on the list- 1) a rosy nude lipstick which matches my lips( all nudes i find are brownish, mauvish, too pinkish, too pale, washes me out)… Havent find the perfect one yet, 2) a really nice sunscreen of spf 50 which wont give a whitish cast; nor make my normal skin look oily or darkish…. Which will just sink into the skin, providing protection; but not leaving any sort of traces on the skin. 3) some nice colored eye kohls which are creamy enough for tightlining yet will not run or smudge easily

That cool little Bamboo Bronzer Brush from Benefit, cinema secrets brush cleaner, Agave hair oil and a Karuna hand mask because my hands are hella dry. I just picked up other things higher up on the priority list, like face cream etc. when the 15% sale was on Sephora.
