I love little kits – like lipgloss sets that are under $20, minis, those kinds of things. I am totally going to give Jack Black Lip Balm Trios myself!
Thanks to Lily for today’s question! Got a question idea? Submit yours here.
I love giving and recieving nail polish in stockings!
I just bought those Philosophy holiday gift sets a couple days ago for some relatives. They smell soo good!
Victoria’s Secret always has a ton of little coffrets- fragrance and lotion samplers that can easily be split up & given to people separately. I also like the Beauty Rush line- it’s usually on sale 5 for $20 or so, which you can’t beat. The glosses are mostly about the flavor and shine, though some do have a moderate amount of pigment, but the Soothing Lipbalm is the best, and the loose shadows are great too!
For one, I think things from Lush, like soaps or bath bombs, are a good idea. Nail polish and lip balms are also good ideas.
I know I would totally consider getting the UD 24/7 Jackpot and splitting up the liners if I knew my friends would use them. You can really save by splitting up value packs that way.
I was at Sephora earlier this week and saw this tiny Urban Decay eye primer potion for $9 and I thought it’d make the best stocking stuffer. I’m thinking my sister would really love it. 🙂
I am trying to find some good stocking stuffers for some of the girls at my job. Many of them are new to makeup.
i recently got a Stila lipglaze set, which comes with 8 or so lipglazes,
it’s fun to split them up for stocking stuffers! my friends arent into cosmetics as i am. but im sure lipgloss is a nice basic item to have
That exactlly what i got what im gonna do
Mini nail polish sets. Even people who dont wear makeup everyday love nail polishes. And it gives a nice range of shades for under 20$!
At Sephora, they have these mini Stila palettes (something about Russia?) for $13. When I was there, I saw a woman buying stacks of them, probably for stocking stuffers.
Urban Decay Little Sins, nail polishes, splitting up some Urban Decay 24/7 liners, mascaras, blushes, and definitely elf stuff like their palettes or lip glosses and such.
I usually give lip gloss and nail polish and hand lotions
I too love little kits! My boyfriend’s sister tends to get me the really awesome “sampler” things from Sephora, like the pack of UD pencils, or Stila gloss pens. I love it! It gives me a chance to try new things, or see other shades of products I love. A lot of times I’ll even buy them for myself!
Oh god Jack Black lip balm is so amazing. Just dropped $70 bucks entirely on their lip balm because it really is the only thing that keeps my ultra-dry lips healthy. Almost got some for stocking stuffers…but no, it must all be mine!
The little bins near the checkout at Sephora are filled with great, little, inexpensive gifts. I picked up Benefit’s mini High Beam ($10) and a Tokidoki folding brush/mirror ($10), I hope my friends like them!
THE BOND NO9 SAMPLES ARE 6 FOR $15.00 AND YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR FRAGRANCE FOR EACH. THEY MAKE A NICE STUFFER—– BUT YOU CANNOT ORDER A SAMPLER PACK WITHOUT ORDERING A PRODUCT AND THEIR SMALLEST SIZE OF ANY FRAGRANCE IS STILL PRICEY….
Thanks to you Christine I’m totally hooked on the Jack Black lip balms. I gave a couple out to friends and now there hooked. I’m also going to treat myself to the trio.
Yay!!!
i just looked in Sephora on line at the Stila mini palette kits and the Aspen and Moscow kit (2 of 4) were cute and only $10 each. I ordered one Moscow kit. Thanks for the gal above in a reply for a heads up on this stuffer-
liners, glosses, balms, voluminous mascara, samples, travel size items, primers, ecotools mini eye brush set, shower gels, soaps, lotions, powder, highlighter, lipstick, caudalie beauty elixir or grape water is awesome for dry overheated rooms, too faced fairy pocket palette, fresh mini primer duo
I love getting sets and dividing up by people’s preferences. korres has some awesome options esp on hsn and their daily offer. they also ship superfast if you order direct and have amazing customer service.
i like giving MAC lipsticks or lipglasses (depending on whether the person uses lipstick or not) because they’re (1) great quality (2) have tons of options and (3) affordable-especially if i find good ones at CCO!
I like the EOS lip balm as well!
