Pat McGrath Decadence Palette, Urban Decay Rebel Vice Lipstick, Bite Kale Lipstick, Tom Ford Love Lust Blush (discontinued version, though), Tom Ford Amber Absolute Private Blend.

My Sydney Grace pressed pigments (yes, all of them lol), Babybatbeauty liquid lipsticks, Buxom mascara because it’s the only mascara that doesn’t make my eyes weep, Hourglass ambient lighting powder, Ace Beaute Paradise Fallen palette.

Chantecaille moonlit perle glow powder — gorgeous packaging and beautiful subtle product. Probably my most “fancy lady” product.

Any of the LE 4 pan Chantecaille animal themed palettes that have come out in years past. I get the most use out of Save the Forest.

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette in Narural Beauty — the perfect travel palette. Not a space wasted, I can use it all beautifully.

Tom Ford Pink Glow cheek and eye compact from 2015 or so — it’s summertime sexiness in a palette that a 40 something can wear easily.

Chanel Beige perfume — my classic go to for a day at work that involves a board meeting or other “I need a suit of armor” type event.

Chanel Tisse Venetian e/s quad (the pewter shade in this quad is probably my favorite e/s of all time)
Guerlain Meteorites Holiday 2015 (Fairy Tale release)
Thymes Limited Goldleaf perfume
Nars Cruella Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (not my absolute favorite red but just makes me smile when I wear it.)
Ciate Summer Love blush

La Mer soft fluid foundation—the smell is amazing!
Really any of my Hourglass blushes, I don’t know why I keep buying blush from other brands because I love those and I love blush more than any other makeup product. I guess if I had to choose one it would be Radiant Magenta.
Dior Luminizer 002–so pretty and perfect color for my pale cool skin
ABH x Amrezy highlighter—because WOW!
My Burberry perfume; it’s like wearing a rain-drenched English rose garden, and while I have an extensive perfume collection, this one never fails to raise me up

1) Benefit Dandelion – using this over a decade and have gone through 6 boxes, I have 20 other blushes and some are better but this is the one that makes me smile

2) Chanel Ruby Slipper – a nubbin left from 15 years ago, this is my GOAT lippie

3) Natasha Denona Star palette – this started my fancy palette obsession, I have hit pan on half the shadows and use it as a face palette now, for some reason hitting pan makes me so happy

4) Tom Ford Cafe Rose perfume – amazing

5) An old FACE Stockholm powder brush – it’s the oldest brush I have and it has somehow survived decades of abuse

The staples: Dior Backstage foundation, NARS Radiant Creamy concealer, IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara, Laura Mercier loose powder and BareMinerals Invisible Glow highlighter! Guaranteed to take off ten years and several weeks of poor sleep off my face. All of these are fairly recent additions to my wardrobe and I should have taken the plunge with Radiant Creamy and the LM powder a lot sooner – those two have made the biggest difference on my base. IT superhero i bought on the recommendation of a friend and I have been so pleased!

Interesting question. I guess I feel more like I am focusing/analyzing while using makeup than I am just enjoying it.

But, upon reflection, I would say:
– Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer – because I’m so pumped that I have figured out how to wear bronzer and I love what it does for me.
– Sephora Cream Lip Stains, I really enjoy the initial smell and texture. Wear time is good as well.
– Mac frost eyeshadow singles – these are teaching me about…’grown up eye shadow’, they look lovely but not overdone and frosty. Just sophisticated.
– Sephora Rouge Lip Tint – just beautiful all the way around.
– Sydney Grace shimmer singles – rich pigmentation, satiny finish (not frosty). Lovely.

Cle de Peau Silky Cream foundation – still the best! Practically blends itself and sooo comfortable to wear with a natural skin-like finish.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick in Pink Parfait – Been wearing this since the late 80s, my MLBB shade with a pearly glow. Comfortable. emollient & easy to apply.
Hourglass blush in Luminous Flush – The perfect healthy glow for my fair & warm complexion.
Chanel Rouge Coco Gloss Moisturizing Glossimer Lip Gloss in Bourgoisie – Always perfect no matter the occasion, comfy to wear. not sticky, surprisingly long lasting for a gloss.
Tom Ford Nude Dip Eyeshadow Quad- Effortless chic & always a pleasure to use.

*Notoriously Morbid Eyeshadow in Autumn Flower (DC?). It’s the perfect 90s grunge, purplish-reddish-burgundy bruise shade, with slight blue shimmer. There’s nothing else like it. It’s probably my favorite eyeshadow of all time. It was originally LE, then made permanent for awhile. I stalked the poor owner over the permanent release, and bought a huge jar of it for when my smaller one ran out. I think I got one or two more smaller backup jars on a sale. I’ve been obsessed with it for years, and I’m never running out!

*Guerlain Voyage Pressed Meteorites Compact. It’s such a luxe, hefty-feeling, (uncharacteristically for me) chic compact. It always makes me feel fancy and classy when I use it. (Mine has Pressed Meteorites in 02 Clair in it.)

*Anything duo-chrome, multichrome, opalescent, oil-slick, etc. Whether product, packaging, or both. I could watch colors shift forever.

*MAC Lipstick in La Vie En Rouge. I think it’s the most flattering lipstick on me, ever. I love how the red-coral seems to morph to go with what I’m wearing. I’ve worn it with primary red dresses, and it looks pin-up red. I’ve worn it with coral makeup and tops, and it looks more orange or pink, depending on the shades I wear it with. Why the hell MAC never made this shade permanent is beyond me. I wish I’d bought two or three tubes when the shade was released.

*Besame Snow White Palette. It matches a Snow White book with original concept drawings, etc. in it that my father had gotten me for my 11th or 12th birthday. One of the rare times he remembered my birthday and got me a nice present that he thought I’d like, rather than the cheapest thing he could find and pretend like he cared. The packaging/cover of the book and the palette are nearly identical.

1. Wander Beauty Unlashed mascara- one of the only mascaras that leave my lashes long and fluttery. I never have to use a mascara comb, etc to separate my lashes.
2. Hourglass Blush palette. It has my favorite blush, Mood Exposure, and I really like the other two as well.
3. Dior 002 highlighter. My grown up highlighter. I feel fancy wearing it!
4. Too Faced Hangover RX face spray. Finally a coconut scent from the world of cosmetics that I enjoy. I like the scent, the mist level and that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling too slick with glycerin.
Side note: The Method Coconut Water Foaming Hand Wash for under $3 at my grocery store is another fantastic coconut scent-but you have to like it, the scent lasts way past the wash.
And,
5. The ABH Sultry palette. I have been pleased with every look when I’ve used this. It is the only time I have ever bought a backup of anything, ever. Now I’m so glad I did because I’m getting low enough on 2 or 3 shades that I might hit pan on them before the year is out.

1. Guerlain Blush G Serie Noire
2. Dior Crush Glow eyeshadow quint
3. Colourpop By The Bushel Lippie Scrub
4. A perfect red lip – Bite Sour Cherry for satin/creme or Colourpop Ambush for a matte look
5. Good Molecules Instant Cleansing Balm (it smells amazing to me)

Neat question! I’ll have to modify it to “smile on the inside” since I rarely smile except in response to other people (or the occasional YouTube video).

✨ Notoriously Morbid’s “Pure Passion” eyeshadow (because it’s the perfect flushed, shimmery shade for eyes, appropriately enough)
✨ Aromaleigh’s Glamoured Mineral Finishing Powder in “Gypsophylia” (because it’s the ideal color for my skin, I’ve never seen its like anywhere, and it leaves me looking flawless)
✨ Aromaleigh’s highlighter in “Diana” (because it has the perfect slightly peachy, but mostly yellow base color, with a silvery blue duochrome shimmer — gorgeous on yellow skin!)
✨ Shiro Cosmetics’ “The Blood of My Enemies” lipgloss (because … the name!; well, and the color — though it’s one of the few products I own that I really did buy mostly for the name, because when someone asks what I have on my lips … ???)
✨ Rouge Bunny Rouge’s Witchery Mascara in “Red Nightfall”

My Estee Lauder Double Wear in 4w2 – this foundation makes me feel like I can conquer the world. It is perfect in everything (shade, staying piwer, transfer)
Colourpop Trust Me and Vice Lipstick Mrs Mia Wallace – Red lipstciks are the power
My guerlain eye primer as a face primer – No shine all day (I discovered this by accident)
My Marc Jacobs Highliner crayon in Blacquer – Every day use. It stays.

UD Electric palette, Marc Jacobs Enamored Ch-Ch-Changes lip gloss, Louboutin Rouge Louboutin mascara, KvD Backstage Bambi lipstick, and a rose-shaped brush I got at Sally Beauty-it’s meant for powders, but I use it with pink-toned blushes so the pink bristles won’t get discolored. I can’t find it on the Sally Beauty website, but it was stored on or near the checkout counter when I bought it.
