Wet 'n' Wild Air MegaGlo Highlighting Bar Review & Swatches

Air
Wet ‘n’ Wild Air MegaGlo Highlighting Bar ($6.99 for 0.30 oz.) is a pale pink with strong, warm undertones and a sparkling sheen. It had medium coverage, which was buildable to mostly opaque coverage with two to three layers. The powder was soft, more loosely pressed to the point where it seemed a little drier/dustier in the pan, but I didn’t notice any of that in practice as I tapped on the highlighter on my cheek bones. It applied evenly and diffused beautifully along the edges, and as I blended the powder onto my skin, it looked “melted” and yielded a smooth sheen that did not accentuate my skin’s texture. It wore well for eight hours before it started to fade on me.

The formula is supposed to yield a "lit-from-within glow" that "delivers a strobing effect" with a "super-smooth" texture. All of the shades felt a little dusty, a bit dry, in the pan and by the touch, but they applied beautifully and sat well on my skin--they almost "melted" onto the skin for a very smooth, luminous sheen. The pigmentation ranged from medium to opaque, but the ones that weren't full coverage were buildable. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me.

This looks really similar to one of Wet n Wild’s previous highlighters (before they came out with the MegaGlo ones), I think it was the pink Fergie one? I hope the formula is better!
I can’t remember if I got that launch!
Oh Em Gee, Air is another beauty! As in, just like I said for Earth, well worth the $6.99! What I especially love about these, is their “melted” quality. They just seem to have a natural glowing skin finish to them.
They did a great job on those two!
This is normally the highlighter shade that I am most attracted to and yesterdays less so but I find that I prefer yesterday’s highlighter. This is very pretty though and would probably suit my skin tone a little better. Heaven knows I don’t need anymore highlighters!
Haha! Nice to feel like there’s one you can skip!
This is a really nice shade for my skin tone. I’d probably buy it if I didn’t just put down a fortune on a Dior highlighter last weekend!
No need if you got a Dior one! 🙂
Are these only available at Walmart for now haven’t seen anywhere yet? I’d like to try this one looks really pretty on you & the Fire eyeshadow.
Walmart and Milani online, just Walmart for stores!
It’s just right fory skin tone, I don’t have any of the dupes and its such a deal – must search for this one.
I found this whole set: highlighter, eyeshadow palette, little mirror compact (not too fancy, but no too bad, totally useful.), and 3 really beautiful lipglosses at Wal-Mart for $4.97. Got Earth and Water, too. I wish they’d had Fire. I didn’t know these had been reviewed here!! They are truly lovely!
