As a VIB Rouge, I’ve definitely taken advantage of the 20 percent off this year – placed four orders already – but I am kind of disappointed with the length of time for the discount. Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but I thought it has been a full week in the past? And I also feel like there are so many things that I wanted that were out of stock on Wednesday and have continued to be out of stock into today, like most shades of the Nars Audacious lipsticks.
It’s somewhat irritating, because I don’t really think VIB Rouge has that many other benefits during the rest of the year – I would have loved a longer timeframe to be able to use the discount this time around as an additional perk for us.
I totally agree. Between stuff being out of stock and the site being down for almost a whole day, I don’t see how we could’ve gotten every single thing we wanted. TBH, I haven’t seen many perks worth the VIB Rouge status. An extra 5-10% off would’ve been nice, or maybe more deluxe sample options? It’s kind of a ridiculous amount to spend a year (which I do anyway, I don’t spend just for the VIB status) for kind of mediocre benefits.
If Ulta carried more high end beauty brands, I’d stop going to Sephora altogether.
