Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

So that was the first video I’ve seen from you, and I must admit it was a strange experience. I loved the in depth reviews and synopsis. However, now that I’ve heard you speak and seen you talking, I don’t feel as connected because you seem almost intimidating!

This is totally not meant as a bad thing, I am just trying to be honest because I know you have mentioned your videos not going over with your readers too well, and I wonder if some thought the same way I do but just didn’t say anything. In pictures, you appear to be more natural and personable, but in videos you look so perfect and cooly composed, and sound more high- maintenance (I was looking for a better word but couldn’t find one, do that’s not exactly what I mean). More like the anti- Kandee Johnson. Lol!

When I think about it, it’s really because in pictures your hair is usually pulled back and you’re smiling! And so it’s a shock to some people to see you another way, Either way, I still adore your blog and hope I haven’t weirded you out. Sean is quite a lucky guy!!

Christine, these are great – like another reader commented, sometimes I don’t have the time to read your thoughtful and really intense reviews, so these videos are a great feature for that! Also, for some reason it makes me want to go back to some of the products you mentioned and take a second look, even if I dismissed them the first time. I’m still debating about Trustafarian though! Its so gorgeous, and although I do understand your thoughts on it, I think I still need it. I would also like to agree with a couple of the commenters — relax, smile, slow down. It seemed like you were just doing the video because you had to, and you didn’t really want to be there, if that makes sense!

Looking forward to now watching the two other videos you’ve already done for last week and this week!
