Valentine's Day Makeup - Get the Perfect Pout, Part 3

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about red lips, because there are some fabulous combinations of pink to be used to entice your sweetie or rope in that hottie at the bar.  Here are some of my favorites by MAC! Psst, Girl About Town lipstick (pictured above) is a permanent color, which means you can grab it without fear it no longer is available!  The point of this post is to show you that hot pink lips are perfect for a Valentine Day’s pout, and you can find a shade of pink that works for you.  MAC alone makes several vibrant pink lipsticks that are part of their permanent line, so get ye to the MAC store pronto (and get the artist to try them on you!).

See five more fun favorites…

Dejarose lipglass (try Pink Poodle lipglass as a dupe)

Full Fuchsia lipstick (PRO, permanent)

Fusion Pink lipstick (PRO, permanent)

Immodest mattene (limited, may be available)

Fashionably Fuchsia lipstick (limited, no longer available)

i might just have to pick up girl about town

p.s. i’m taking a trip to the really big mall about an hour and a half away this weekend, so itll be the FIRST TIME i actually go to a mac!! i’ve been ordering online all this time! i’m SOO EXCITED it is ridiculous

Deep sigh! Gosh I adore pink lippies 🙂 I think all the colors are just sooooo beautiful…I think I need more pink lippies…yep, more!! MORE!!!

Girl About Town looks fantastic.

Which of these would you suggest for olive toned skin? (sort of like year round slight tan skin color?)

I bought L’Oreal HIP Shine Struck Liquid Lipcolor in Arresting & I don’t know how I feel about it. I wish I would have gotten that one fushia lipglass from the Barbie Loves MAC Collection last year 🙁

Hey Michelle!

Is your skin similar to mine? I consider myself olive toned. I like Girl About Town a lot, though. Fafi’s Totally It lipglass is much like last year’s Malibu Barbie lipglass!

Girl About Town…My favorite…A lipstick after my own heart! Perfect solution for sexy lips. I use Pink Poodle Lipgalss on top to make it last longer.

I’m a bit late for valentine’s day makeup, but I had a question about Girl About Town. it looks absolutely gorgeous! But would it work for fair skin? I’m lightly freckled too.

Hey Heather!

You know, it will, but you do have to ROCK IT! It’s a bright color (on anyone) and with fairer skin, it’ll pop more, but it’s certainly wearable for you!
