Guerlain Turandot or Urban Decay’s Naked1. I think I could be pretty happy with either! I wouldn’t want to commit to a single palette for the rest of my life, but you know, if I had to.

Naked 2. It has all the basics for me and it’s pretty much the only one I’ve used the past few years. BUT I just bought UD Electric palette and I’m ready to venture out and try some new looks. 🙂

This is so hard, but I’m gonna have to go with my Naked 2. It was my first palette, and still the one I reach for every time I don’t know what to wear. I love it so much!

Too Faced Boudoir Eyes palette. Even though it doesn’t many colors as other palettes have it has my favorite taupe colors to use and also some nice purply shades and I can do an array of looks from natural to smoky and dramatic. I love that I can travel with it and have all the colors I need. Whenever I use it my eye shadow looks amazing. Its one of the few palettes I’ve actually hit pan on and plan to repurchase.

I totally agree. That was the first palette I ever bought and I’ve had many more since, but that’s still the one I keep going back to. No matter the color combination, it always results in a great look.

Committing to one palette isn’t something I’d ever want to do. However, I had to choose today, it would be the MAC 15x Cool Neutral palette. It pretty much covers the bases with wearable color variety (it’s really one of the few palettes from which I can wear each and every shade without issue).

I’d pick Naked 3. I just bought it and I’m in love with pretty much every shade. If you’d asked this question last week I wouldn’t have had an answer. But I’m happy to say I do now!

Probably I’d choose the Sleek Storm palette. It has a matte highlight shade, a matte black, some neutrals, and some beautiful dark shades for a color smokey eye. I love Naked 2 too, More limited to neutrals but gorgeous shades.

Guerlain’s Les Fumes or Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette (though the Tarte for Aqualilies is also tempting, though it’s not just eye shadows – it also contains face products; also, Naked 1 or 2 – I’d be happy with either of those in this horrible, oppressive land that would rid me of all my other beloved palettes!). WAIT – scratch all that – it would be UD’s Vice 2 (it has so many shadows that it would minimize the pain). Okay – Vice 2 or TF Chocolate Bar…it would be between those 2!

I just got the Kat Von D Monarch palette and am totally in love with it. The best part is that it has both matte and sparkly shades, so there are more possibilities than other palettes that are one or the other. The base colors are great, and the black and dark brown liner shades are perfection. The shadows themselves are triple-milled, so they’re super silky and fine. This is great for those of us with contact lenses, or people with sensitive eyes, since they’re less irritating than thicker pigments. I’m obsessed!

Definitely Urban Decay’s Naked 3; it’s the first palette I’ve found where every color looks good on me. To be honest, it’s the only palette I’ve used since I got it; I haven’t touched anything else. The rest of my palettes are lonely. 🙂

Naked 3 palette. I would be satisfied with it but i wouldn’t be happy, but since neutrals go with majority of looks i’ll pick this.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH. I’d have to search and find something that contained a really good taupe/taupe/bronze/brown/black/antique gold/pewter/grey/teal/plum mix, or I’d go insane. Preferably buttery mattes. Is there such a palette!?

I suppose if one were to come to mind… I’d probably go for something like…

Oh, dear. All my favorite eyeshadows are actually singles.

Let’s see… If I absolutely had to… maybe one of the Addiction by Ayako neutral palettes? Or Edward Bess Soft Smoke? Or a Le Metier de Beaute Kaleidoscope? I’d have to compensate by getting some really nice colored eyeliners and learning how to blend them out…

I honestly don’t think any palette out there would do for me. I’m not a huge fan of color so I’d need a mix of shades from both neutrals and colors and finishes. The LM Artist Palette for Christmas came close to being a great one for me, but I missed out on the sale!

tzwiggy Avatar

Can I supplement with other shadows (like a highlighter and transition shade)? If not, one that hasn’t been made yet. I still haven’t found one that has the right combination of finishes, undertone and light/medium/dark shades.

My favourite all time eye shadow palette is the Naked 3 one.It has all my
colours and is so easy to mix and match.Love it so much that I bought 2 of them.:)

This is tough! I use Naked 1 more than anything else, but I combine it with pops of color. I’d probably have to say the UD 15 year anniversary palette. It has gorgeous nuetrals, purples, and teals, the only thing it’s really missing is a good green.

Tyrell Avatar

Sorry ladies but I think that I just might be the only woman who DOES NOT like or wear eyeshadow.
I just don’t care for it and I don’t know why.

Christy Avatar

Laura Mercier Artists’ Palette for Eyes from end of 2013–mattes and shimmers from light to dark along with the plummy shades I love.

Amy Avatar

This is a hard choice, but if I had to pick it would be between Naked 3 and the Too Faced Chocolate bar palette! I love these both so much, my other pallets are sad!

Caroline Avatar

Guerlain L’Heure De Nuit ombre eclat duo & liner 383

Once I found this, that was it; I’ve never worn anything else for everyday wear. I don’t like looking like I wear makeup, and this is neutral on me, so it just makes my eyes look big, not all colourful or showy.
Unfortunately, they don’t make it anymore, but I bought one extra and put it away lol 🙂

Mel Rose Avatar

Probably the Naked Basics (Naked 3 was really close). I don’t have the Naked 1 or the Lorac Pro, but I have a feeling if I did I’d be pretty satisfied with them as well!

Susan Dowman Nevling Avatar

If I had to choose one palette to use for all occasions for the rest of my life, I think I would choose UD Naked Basics. It would be a natural look all the time but could be intensified. The colors are all matte and will be more friendly to crepey eyes as I get older. Not fun at all but would work for me.

Donna Avatar

Too Faced Chocolate Bar, Laura Mercier Artists’ Palette or Urban Decay Wizard of Oz Glinda, those have some good variety in them.

Hannah Avatar

I think I would be pretty happy with the lorac pro palette. im pretty big on having enough variety of warm/cool tones so i dont think i could commit to a naked palette.

Brenda Avatar

This was tough!! I guess I’d have to go with UD Naked 2. I could say the Lorac Box Office sensation, but kind of feel like that would be cheating LOL! I generally don’t buy a lot of premade palettes anymore. I have them, but don’t reach for them very often.

Amanda G Avatar

I have a big-a$$ one that I got in a swap from a gal in Hong Kong. The quality isn’t great, but at least I’d have access to almost every color imaginable.
