I believe in UD’s ability to make “bold, energy-charged pigments” about as much as I believe in the Tooth Fairy these days…
I’m cackling! The palette looks dull but I do love their 24/7 liners and like getting the special edition shades. I hope these don’t sell out too quick for the fall sales, like the Game of Thrones ones did.
So did I, PolishedHippy! This palette doesn’t scream Marvel Universe or whatever to me. It looks ultra BASIC and boring. The pencils, though…
Why? Why Marvels and not spectacular and over-the-top like the Marvels universe is? And why not character based? Oh well. The palette looks nice for anyone that is starting out and wants a nice everyday to evening range. The pencils look promising.
This is the kind of collaboration / collection I expect from Urban Decay, I just think they played it a little bit too safe.
Otherwise, I’m just curious if they managed to get the quality good, or it’s another disappointment.
This release appears to be completely on brand; Marvel x Urban Decay fans seems like a very niche audience. I can’t express any interest in this at all.
Agree with Shannon, low bar w/UD. And with polished, awaiting the liners, but no longer eagerly. I know nothing about the theme, but could tell instantly the palette was phoned in and would disappoint the fangirls and boys.
The colors in the palette look like a really straightforward interpretation of the colors of the characters looks with some extra neutrals mixed in. In that way it makes sense. But it’s also really boring. To me this is just a collectible for makeup lovers who also like Marvel movies. However I’m both of those things and I don’t want this at all.
There is zero point in buying any of their LE palettes full priced bc they will go on sale for half price within a few months. Will wait for that.

I hope the eye palette performs well, I’m more interested in the eyeliners and I’ll be flying tomorrow hopefully I won’t miss them.
Wow, could this be any more boring? There was so much potential for this collection, but instead it’s very disappointing.
I’m a huge comic fan (since long before it was cool) and this is just sorta okay, like msot comic-themed makeup offerings. I may get it if it goes on sale. Which it will.
Do we trust UD to bring out something good after their Prince fiasco?
I think this will ultimately not be for me when I read – orange matte, brown matte, brick red matte……
The eye pencils sound pretty. I’m waiting on reviews, though. The palette looks dialed in, but hopefully the quality will be good for collectors. I’m passing on it.
I’m thinking palette no, highlighters no, pencils maybe a yes.
