Rebound Build Your Own Palette ($10.00) (Limited Edition)

Our redesigned shadows pop OUT of their compacts and INTO customizable Build Your Own Palettes to create the ultimate travel-friendly collection. We usually sell our buildable palettes with one neutral shadow, but this time around we’re letting you unleash your inner type A and call ALL the shots. With four empty spaces and a massive selection of shades, the options are limitless. Choose from nudes, vibrant hues, and deep, dark shades to create your own unique combination, then swap out all four whenever the mood strikes. All Urban Decay Eyeshadows feature our Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives every shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability. While the Build Your Own Palette is here to stay, this design will only be available for a short time—get it while you can!

De-Slick Mattifying Powder ($32.00)

Shiny can be really good (when it comes to expensive jewelry, for example) or really bad (when it comes to your T-zone). To curb shiny skin and keep the attention on you for all the RIGHT reasons, use De-Slick, our cult-favorite, shine-stopping pressed powder. Don’t let the pale lavender color fool you; this baby goes on invisibly and works on every skin tone. Try it on naked skin (if you run into the hot guy at the gym), or over foundation (for touch-ups on the dance floor without destroying your makeup). Because the formula contains super lightweight, oil-absorbing rice powder, you won’t feel the powder but you’ll see the shine-free results. Because it’s made from rice powder, this lightweight, super-absorbent formula not only banishes shine, but also absorbs oil. Most pressed powders mix with the skin’s natural oils and can end up looking cakey on your complexion, but not De-Slick. And it’s infused with healing green tea extract to calm and soothe sensitive skin. This shine-fighting formula comes in a luxe Lucite compact with a pretty-but-edgy design drenched in our signature dark purple (so you’ll look as good applying it as you will afterward).

I guess when you see the word collection you think of something bigger. Is that all there is from Urban Decay summer collection 2013? I was expecting some eyeshadow palettes or an eyeliner pencil combo with some of the new colors. I guess after theodora and glinda anything will look smaller in comparison.

I’d be all over the Mushroom shadow pencil except that I’ve discovered both Tarte’s and Sephora’s own house brand jumbo shadow pencils that are so much better because you can actually BLEND them out a bit before they set. I have a taupe one from Sephora that looks very close to that pic of Mushroom.

I am quite confident I already have dupes for all of these products in my collection. The sole exception being the bright pink sparkle shadow pencil which just doesn’t seem to be my kinda thang. So a pass for me.

If you have the Vice palette, then you *definitely* have dupes for the shadows, and as you said, the pink pencil looks interesting, but…

I’m so excited- the only two shadows I wanted from the Vice palette available as singles! Is this exclusive to Urban Decay, or will these be available at Sephora, etc.?

Danielle Avatar

I’m so happy they are selling the Build Your Own without an eye shadow – that’s why I have been putting off getting another one. And there are a few other things I plan on picking up.

Thrilled to see Lace return as a single!

Not so thrilled with the ad. Please tell me the woman isn’t making the gesture I thinks he is.

That 40 eyeliner set to sell is a gimmick. I read that there were only 50 made. That marketing strategy was likely to introduce the new liners etc…but no one would notice and make comments as much if the 40 eyeliner set were also promoted…and that is the feeling I get from putting out only 50 sets. As for those tin-can eye shadow containers, I am not impressed. I mind as well get a cookie container and put my shadows into them or leave the shadows in the original casing.

Damn. I was really hoping for a new must-have palette…. that’s ok, I’ll just keep working through the UD shadows I already have until the Fall lol.

The last few UD releases have been big disappointments to me… I was not interested in the Oz palettes or the Vice palette. Booooo.

Maybe I’ll get Laced… that was the only color I really wanted from the Vice palette.

I was not impressed with the Oz palettes either. It is those darn tin pans. I actually like the Smoked Palette zipped container better. Those tin pans look bulky, cheap, not adorable, and not unique.

Am I correct in assuming the eyeshadows will be added to the permanent line? If so, that’s awesome, and I will likely pick up Laced & Desperation at some point (if they’re LE, at least I have Vice). Overall, this collection just doesn’t have a Summer vibe to it, which I guess could be a good thing, but I would expect more, especially from UD.

The Noise shadow pencil is amazing! It’s exactly what I’ve been wanting, I even suggested it to UD awhile back on their facebook page. I love that they listen to their customers! It’s the perfect color for summer & I’ve already used it several times. Also got the new BYOP & I think it’s the prettiest one to date! Love that it came empty 🙂

First of all, I would like to say that I LOVE Laced and will be picking it up as a backup for when I hit pan on the one that’s in my Vice palette.

Secondly, UD aggravates me with this “build your own palette” business. What REALLY aggravates me is the fact that they are now not including a free shadow with it!! They make it seem like it’s great because you’ll get to “call all the shots”, but in reality, they’re just greedy. They want to make as much money as possible, and it honestly sickens me. BUT with that said, I will continue to buy from UD because like most everybody else, I love them (aside from the build your own palette business).
