Guardian Angel Spray Moisturizer with SPF 8 ($26.00)

This superfine mist can actually replace your existing moisturizer. Time release technology ensures that Guardian Angel continues to hydrate over a 24-hour period… probably longer than you actually need it! How does it work? The formula is hygroscopic, meaning it actually attracts and binds water to itself. Even with SPF 8, Guardian Angel feels light as air – no heavy moisturizer feeling. Worn under makeup, it hydrates evenly and creates a perfect base for foundation, allowing for smoother makeup application after misting. The lightweight formula is dermatologist tested, allergy tested, great for sensitive skin, oil-free, paraben-free, and vegan. Reduces the powdery makeup look you can sometimes get from foundation, and gives skin a healthy glow.

Makeup Setting Sprays ($29.00)

What prompted this marriage in makeup-saving heaven? Urban Decay and Skindinavia share a vision: long-lasting makeup. Urban Decay owns the market on pre-makeup prep with our Primer Potion franchise, while Skindinavia has developed an exciting lineup of post-makeup products. We were wowed by their technological expertise and clinical testing. Sure, there are other setting sprays on the market, but Skindinavia pumps their products full of innovative, super-effective ingredients. We worked with the Skindinavia team to identify the proprietary ingredients that best fit the needs of our customers. Together, we came up with three formulations that address shine, dryness and the need for all-night wear (of course). All Nighter is available at Sephora, ULTA and Macy’s. Or, online at sephora.com, ulta.com, beauty.com, macys.com and urbandecay. com. Dew Me and DeSlick are available exclusively at Macy’s, macys.com and urbandecay.com

  • All Nighter Facebook-ready makeup, all night (or day) long–great for all skin types
  • Dew Me Cooling effects prevent makeup meltdown; designed for dry/combination skin and those in hot and humid climates
  • De Slick Keeps oil under control so makeup stays perfect all day; great for oily/combination/acne-prone skin

De-Slick in a Tube ($28.00)

Forever banish a greasy t-zone (or any zone for that matter) with our lightweight gel, developed to keep matte under hot studio lights or in muggy heat. Apply De-Slick after your moisturizer, then wait about 30 seconds to apply foundation. This addicting formula provides unbelievable oil control and absorbing action, is super easy to use, and is miraculous for midday touch-ups. Available at Sephora, ULTA and Macy’s. Or online at
sephora.com, ulta.com, macys.com, beauty.com and urbandecay.com.

  • Max Meet surfer Max, uber sweet and bashful; he doesn’t mind getting salty or wet, and this pinky nude gloss is ideal for sunset surf sessions.
  • Colin Fireman Colin really got our temperatures blazin’ with his bravado, and we salute his daring service with a punchy orange-red shade.

I love all the colors included in the eyeshadow palette, but not a fan of the packaging. I don’t want my makeup to sport some random person’s face! Let alone a group of random tan ppls … haha

nail polish set looks great though

Amy Avatar

I totally agree! I don’t know about anybody else, but if I already have most of the colors in a newly-released palette, I’m not gonna lay out more cash just because it’s UD, even though I absolutely looooove UD. I think they need some new ideas for the shadows!

ocelot1 Avatar

ITA, UD used to be one of my faves, but now it just seems like they are more concerned about their packaging looking “cool” or “edgy” when in reality, it doesnt anymore. its just ugh. they really havent realeased anything new thats perm in a while…other than a couple of 24/7’s. so depressing. i wont be surprised if they go the wayside of HC

TG Avatar

I am trying not to buy anything more from them because their customer service is ridiculously bad. They said awhile ago they would be eventually transferring to paraben-free formulations. I wrote them two times asking if they planned on making the existing shadows paraben-free, and never got a response. I asked on their Facebook page the same question and someone else actually said they’d like to know the same thing, and while they answered other questions in the same thread on there, ignored mine. It’s obvious they aren’t going to reformulate the older shadows, but why not just say so?

Boo to them. I’ll be trying hard to make sure they don’t get any more (or very limited amounts due to my love of 24/7s) of my business.

Everything here looks meh anyway.

Katie Avatar

wow, maybe your emails aren’t getting thru for some reason.. I’ve emailed them a few times about different things and they always get back to me right away. The only time they didn’t is when i was supposed to get a credit and evidently my email got lost, because I emailed them again and they answered back with massive apologies right away. that really sucks that you’ve had issues with them 🙁

Nicole Avatar

Those nail polish colors are really enticing, not gonna lie!! I’ve been meaning to buy more first UD eyeshadows for a while, but none of the palettes really appealed to me. I quite like the Summer of Love one though! Hmmmmm decisions.

Rosie Avatar

Oh my god! I love you for covering this! Urban Decay just makes me squeal in a way no other company can, I don’t know why, they just do. Those polishes! Pocket Rockets!

Ellie Avatar

ooh i definitely want the tinted moisturizer, guardian angel, the nail set, and the max pocket rocket!

by the way, i think you got the names mixed up for the pocket rockets!

JennBee Avatar

I guess it might just be me, but the packaging looks strangely tacky and not very UD-like… some of the colors and products are okay, but I’m totally turned off to them. I usually love UD’s packaging. 🙁

Aubree Avatar

I agree. I was a little taken back by the packaging..which is crazy because UD always blows me away with their packaging. I might pass on everything..i would have gotten the palette but i have 3/4 of those colours..so..pass.

I’m waiting for MAC’s Beach collection anyway. :o)

Betty Avatar

Also agree. The packaging on the sprays are especially hideous. They look like something I buy at an art store. I thought those were pre-release sample packagings.. Super disappointed UD 🙁

Paloma Avatar

looks awesome! Didn’t they get rid of the pocket rocket for a while? I would love to try those makeup setting and moisturizer sprays….Also, I love the new “You May Enjoy” thing you got going! It’s very pretty 🙂

AnGeLwInGz Avatar

Heaven knows I love Urban Decay with all my heart, but PLEASE come out with some new shadow colors! The palettes are becoming a ripoff. Looking forward to all the De-Slick items. The powder is a life saver for me. The Pocket Rocket colors are pretty. Too bad the smell makes me sick to my stomach.

Anitacska Avatar

How can you say palettes are rip offs when you can get 16 eyeshadows in their Books of Shadows for just the price of two single shadows? Even if they aren’t new shades, like in Alice, how can it be a rip off at that price???

I like this quad, but I’m pretty sure I have all the shades between my 3 BOS’s, Deluxe palette, Sustainable palette and Preen palette. 😛 However, I hate Pocket Rockets, they smell and taste vile!

kali Avatar

My heart just did a weird tumble. I LOVE LOVE LOVE new collections. It’s like.. I was so desperately waiting for Spring but when Spring came, I couldn’t wait for summer. Thanks for the sneek peak. I neeeeed surfer max gloss. That’s my kind of color -nudey pinks. LOVE! My “to buy” list is getting extra long.. gee thanks. =P

LB Avatar

I just wish all the setting sprays (and the nail polish set) were going to be available at Sephora or Ulta. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t like buying cosmetics online sight unseen. 🙁

Marcy Avatar

Are these LE products?
UD is not available where I live, but I am rather intrigued by their setting sprays…. and i won’t be on US shores till a holiday in October 🙁

Bridgette Avatar

Ooooo I would just love to try Guardian Angel and Dew Me but I don’t think it would work for my oily skin 🙁 Oh well it sure won’t hurt to try De Slick, All Nighter, and De-Slick in a Tube. And even though I HATE the scent of UD’s Pocket Rockets I might pick up Colin cause #1 He is hot!, #2 Look at the cute puppy!!!, #3 I could sure use a hot guy on a lipgloss so I can stare at him if I ever get bored in class 😀

Karina Avatar

hey Christine,
i was wondering do you know why there’s a picture of a group of people in the background of the mirror? Just wondering?

cmferrets Avatar

the setting sprays look cool. but whats up with UD always promoting e/s palettes with stuff they have already come out with ? i have like all of UD e/s palettes , so to me this looks like a waste. why would i buyt something if i have all the other palettes? i guess if your new to UD. this reminds me of the get baked palette which also had some repromotes. i guess i will take the sugg of using these colors together from my others palletes and make a look with them.

Dani S Avatar

Gotta check out the setting sprays (although, I must say, the packaging isn’t very cohesive to the whole UD look. Kinda looks like products from The Body Shop). Also, has anyone tried UD’s nail polishes before? How are they?

Jamie Avatar

I’m curious how the sprays are going to turn out…but the thing that makes me laugh is how much the packaging resembles the monitor screen cleaner I have sitting on my desk – I hope I don’t accidentally pick up the wrong bottle!

marissa Avatar

I love UD but they need to change up the colors in the palettes. I dont even own very many UD e/s and I own 3/4 of them in that palette. really? its disappointing.

June Avatar

Because ULTA and Sephora are presented with the complete line and each vendor chooses what products they want to carry… it wasn’t UD’s decision.

I would know.. I’m one of the vendors.

KaylaK Avatar

Ohhh I will be getting a couple of the makeup setting sprays and I will get the palette since I do actually not own any of the shades already except for one of them. And I think will get the nail polishes too.

Amanda Avatar

I agree about the eye shadow palette’s. 3/4 of the shadows are in the Alice In Wonderland Palette that I just had to have (even though I already owned 9/16 eye shadows in the Ammo Palette). Give us some limited edition 24/7 eyeliners or at least have 2/4 eye shadows be limited editions…that would be at least motive enough to buy it.

Im holding out for the MAC Summer Collection myself…..

Carmen Avatar

………Wow. The packaging for the face sprays are HIDEOUS!!! Not remotely Urban Decay at all! I’m almost bitterly disappointed. What happened to the genie bottle theme?!! Get your head in the game, UD! You’re capable of MUCH better! Although, I am uber-stoked about a peach Pocket Rocket!!!!!! The De-Slick in a Tube Mattifying Gel looks promising too, however! But seriously, this is my reoccurring nightmare of Urban Decay drastically changing their packaging for the worse coming true with those face sprays!

Zoe Avatar

i would buy the summer of love palette but I already own 3/4 from the Alice in Wonderland palette……

but I REALLY want the tinted moisturizer

LNU Avatar

Wait, so the tinted moisturizers and setting spray won’t be available at sephora, but they will be available IN STORE at Macys? I rarely buy things without swatching them first. =/

Brittany Avatar

Will you be testing/writing a review for the new sprays? I’m really curious about how they’ll work, but I’m not ready to spend 30 bucks on them yet!

Katie Avatar

I like the look of their new setting sprays and their other face products. I’m glad Urban Decay is doing some stuff other than eyeshadows and lipsticks. Maybe it’s just me but those are the things I notice most about the brand.

Jordan Avatar

Did you like Dew Me???? I am thinking of buying it b/c I have fairly dry skin, but hard to find reviews on it already. I don’t want to shell out the cash if it doensn’t work.

shakz Avatar

Hey Christine, so this comment is totally late but these only just got released in the UK now!!! I had a question as to whether the setting sprays are limited edition or permanent???
