Urban Decay Party Favor Moondust Palette for Holiday 2019
I’ve never purchased a single Moondust shadow, though I’ve been tempted by a few. If I hadn’t indulged in the past year with a lot of shimmery, glittery shadows and palettes, I’d probably be chomping at the bit for this. But as things stand, I think I’m good to resist, even if this rates well.
Also, I love the photo that accompanies this – she looks like a fresh-faced, confident young woman (none of those harsh, hard-faced expressions) who is having a good time and is wearing makeup that I can actually see myself wearing.
I totally agree about the model!
And … I’ve just been reminded that I never take my Moondust Palette out to play anymore. This definitely has more usable shades that can go more “daytime”, though. So maybe? I’ll wait for reviews in the meantime.
I LOVE Space Cowboy and have hit pan 3X. But I have enough shimmers but can see how this could have appealed to me years ago. I really like the bottom row of this and would have to see it in person before considering.
I love the Moondust shadows. I can’t wait to see proper swatches of these. I’ll most likely be picking this up.
This looks so promising. I’m a sucker for bright shiny things and I have just one moondust shadow – Solstice – which is so pretty. Might pick this up, as it’s good value for 6 different moondusts…
This palette looks really lovely – no harsh shades of orange/red/pink. And the model looks good too.
My thought too about the model – she just looks so happy, healthy and “real”. And ditto on the absence of all the orange/red/pink that both of us seem to dislike because they’re just difficult to wear and not very flattering on us.
So disappointed that UD keeps releasing palettes and no lipsticks to go with them! Wonder if this is yet another sign that they’re about to reformulate their line.
This looks promising! If it’s like their other moondust shadows I’ll be picking it up.
These all look like really pretty every day glitter shades. I like the selection much better than the original Moondust palette, as pretty as the glitters are in that palette.
Delightfully neutral glitters! But my Jouer Skinny Dip palette fills this need in my stash and I love it so much!
“Beauty With an Edge”… gives me shades of beige for Christmas. SAD.
