Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I love that form of the Meteorites too! I like that it has a warmer tone to it. I wound up buying 2! Yep, it was kinda crazy but, I use it to set the perimeter of my face. I wish Guerlain would release those “balls” in a different tin in permanent form. At a lower price range would be nice too! 😀

My fave is the Tom Ford Moodlight. Just gorgeous! It’s my first Tom Ford purchase after reading your review. Totally worth the splurge. I also have the Perles des Neiges but can’t bear to use it because it’s just so pretty!

OMG..I still haven’t picked up my MAC pre-sale from the counter! Hopefully I have Pearl sunshine in there still! I kinda forgot about it. thanks for the reminder. I wonder why they didn’t call!?
You know me and highlighters- if it’s well done, I need it. I adore Colourpop and think they have given so many companies a run fro their money with their budget friendly, superior performing formula. Cle de peau remains a fave of mine though not a new one. But, It’s so hard with highlighters. I remember when I literally had just Nars Albatross alone. Wore it daily. But, this was when really highlighting was just coming on the “scene”. Now, my fickle, makeup loving heart isn’t crazy about Albatross. I also think wet N wild has a nice formula. But,love Tom ford. My point. while I adore these HE goodies, i think you could do just as good on a drugstore budget. I’ve been thinking about that alot as my daughter gets a little older. 🙂

ColourPop has done an amazing job this past year. They’ve been impressive, period, but they’ve put a lot of other brands to shame because they do it for so much less.

What’s cool about CP, too, as you think about your daughter (or anyone of a younger age who has a smaller budget or wants to experiment) is that most products can be applied with fingertips – one less thing to spend money on!

you girls are not going to belive this but i found a Chanel Camelia de Plumes hilighter in an duty free in punta cana last week. i was returning from my honeymoon and when i saw it i couldn’t belive my eyes. I bought it on the spot eventhough i have enough highlighters.

My favorite this year is 100% Tom ford Moodlight. There are no words to describe it. Every time i put it on i can’t belive how incredible it is. I just sit and stare at my cheeks for a couple of minutes :)))

Nicole Avatar

That’s insane. I thought those has disappeared. Why would Chanel not sell those to people who want them in America who are willing to pay the outrageous prices- like me?!!!
Congrats on your find and the marriage!!!

Love Becca Moonstone in every form, Mary Lou Manizer, Colour Pop Lunch Money, and the surprise hit of the year- Disney Dare To Dream Luminizer Stick in Free Spirit from the Pocahontas collection. I never ever buy any Disney makeup, but after seeing a review/swatches online, I got it, and only $3 each. It really extends the wear of my powder blushes and adds a subtle gold sparkle. Sadly it’s LE, but I got a backup, anything to tame the Blush Eating Monster on my cheeks

Christine, under Shades of Taupe, the “view swatches” link isn’t linking correctly (links to NARS spring shadow palette ) and there’s no comment box

Oh, then I guess it was an ad that was running, thought it was a blog post for taupe shadows! I also saw the ad for Clinique Cheek Pops, but when I click on “View Swatches”, it doesn’t take me to the cheek pop swatches but to the latest swatches posted, which are for Guerlain. Not a big deal, but just an FYI

Oh yes to LM Matte Radiance Highlight 01! It is perfect!
Ballerina is still on my wishlist as it is just too beautiful to pass up! I almost bought Pearl Sunshine last night, but I thought it reminded me quite a lot of CP Highly Waisted? So, I passed.
My biggest favorites this year were MAC Shaft Of Gold, CP Highly Waisted and Butterfly Beach! All great for darker medium to dark skintones, I believe.

Last year was the year for highlighters, and I think 2016 might end up being even bigger. I buy mostly DS highlighters, but my lemming for this year is already starting off with Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Pearl.

My favorite new/new to me in 2015: The Balm The Manizer Sisters Luminizer Collection Palette — now I won’t have to carry the full sized ones when I travel. Gerlain Meteorites (I only owned the pressed version before 2015). Looxi Beauty Highlights in Voodoo, Luna, Celestial, and Ever After. ColourPop Smoke N Whistles, Hippo, and Monster. L’oreal True Match Lumi Highlighter Powder in Ice.

I’ve been using Pearl Sunshine daily since I got it, although I use it as a blush. One of the best LE products MAC has put out all year, and it just barely squeaked in before New Years! I really want the Laura Mercier one, but I’m pretty satisfied with Becca Opal, Becca Moonstone (well, shards and powder of Moonstone left since it shattered), Physician’s Formula Shimmer Strips All-in-1 Custom Nude Palette for Face & Eyes in Natural Nude (why do drugstore products have such long names sometimes?), and ColourPop Smoke N Whistles for a cream option.

The LM, Clinique Hefty 01, and Remede Soft Focus Lotion. Manizer Sisters has been sold out forever, but it’s perm. And there are always a few CPs lingering around the edges of the Wish List.

LOVE THE TOME FORD AS WELL! CAN’T BELIEVE THAT NOT ONE OF THE BECCA SHIMMERING PRESSED SKIN PERFECTORS MADE YOUR CUT. CHAMPAGNE POP & MOONSTONE CERTAINLY MADE MINE!

I own the top 3 in your list and am just tickled that I decided to keep the Guerlain Perles Des Neiges Meteorites for myself (with a Saks 10% off and an eBates 10% rebate). I also love Charlotte Tilbury x Norman Parkinson Dreamy Glow highlighter, own but haven’t tried Charlotte Tilbury’s Bar of Gold, and purchased Bobbi Brown’s Pink Glow Highlighter, which I see will be promoted as part of her upcoming glow collection.

My favorite highlighter has been Fyrinnae’s Confidence. Anna Sui’s Rose Cheek Color in 100 is also still high on my list. (And I’ll be adding ABH Starlight to my collection in 2016!)

My love for highlighters was on high this year 🙂
I picked around 15 – 16 in all forms … powder , cream and liquid
And the best one would be :
LM Matte Radiance no 1
Charolette Tilbury Film star
Becca Champagne pop
During my makeup ban I would certainly miss not buying any of the Laura Geller and ABH .. but they are permanent so nothing to worry …
I would also want to pick Tom Ford but it can wait …
